Someone mentioned that everyone here is probably about teens/twenties, and I just got to wondering "how old is everyone here, anyway"?

So, I'll start. I'm 20, had my birthday in early May.

Concerning everyone's age: I have to say that this is pretty much what I expected. People who either are old enough to see the original in theaters, or at least have/had a copy of it in it's original video cover.

Also the younger target audience may be much less eager to write in internet forums. The time has not yet come in which six year olds learn to write within a triffle in order to use the internet as a means of communication rather than an easier source of entertainment.

Very true. Most people I can think of never even thought of going onto internet forums until they were teens.

I'll back that! I know I didn't start looking for forums etc. on LBT til I was partly through secondary school. At that time, I still kept the concept of liking LBT to myself and didnt share it with anyone. But it is true that the fact that the majority of us are in and around the same age is no coincidence. It was targetted at us and we happened to be growing up during that time period (late 80s/early 90s). I was too young to sit still and watch it in the cinema but I did have a copy of it which (according to knowing sources) I used to watch constant over and over again. And it's because we loved it so much as kids that it's stuck to us and we're following it up all the way til and and beyond. That commitment for ya! LOL

Recently an 11 year old was "spotted" in the N54 forum.

I hope the realization that everyone else is much older doesn't scare him or her away.
