Anyone here ever seen "Eerie, Indiana"? Its a good example of a show's co-stars getting slated towards the end of a series (poor Dash and Simon  :cry ). There are a lot of others where I noticed the co-stars getting less and less limelight, and it usually starts with episodes or films where it focuses almost solely on the gig's real main character. "Early Edition" would be another example. "Thundercats" is another example where I think the supporting cast got pushed aside abit. Its usually in series and stuff like that, and LBT is a series now.

It usually starts as one thing like the last LBT film, and its happened enough that I have my suspicions about what awaits Cera, Ducky, Petrie, and Spike in future LBT installments.

You really don't know much about movies as you even stated, do you?
I stated this in a thread about animation and movies in general. If it comes to the land before time in particular I think it is save to say that I know my stuff. In your eagerness to discard my opinion as that of somebody who doesn't have any idea of the topic anyway you fail to even respond to the examples of other characters' spotlights in recent LBT movies which I named. There is no doubt that Littlefoot is (and has always been) the most central character of the land before time. I do not see the general increase of his spotlight on the expense of other characters. Nor do I see any hint whatsoever that such a trend is likeley to be seen in LBT XII (with Petrie's plot giving the title to the movie and Cera getting halfbrothers or -sisters) or in the series (with a new character called Ruby who, for all we know, is going to play a major part in the series).

I'm not disgarding your opinion. I'm pointing out that its been done several times in traditional series and such, and the current filmmakers for the series seem to be hellbent on going the traditional way. That's all I was pointing out, which turned into a discussion in and of itself. I have seen enough of it done to justifiably suspect what they're going to do. I'm actually surprised that they haven't done it already.

I don't really consider Cera's part in LBT11 to be really crucial in any way, shape, or form, personally. I thought from day one when I watched LBT11 that they were trying to fill in the running time space when they realized that Littlefoot's problem wasn't going to cover their usual 1 1/2 hour running time. That's my impression, at least. I may not even be right.

In any case, the other characters' spotlight moments in the past won't matter if the filmmakers decide to take the easy and safe way out, like they have so many times in the past.

I've just checked out Universal Brazil website, and they say LBT XII (PT - BR version) will be released this year. Do you think lbt will simutaneously be released all over the world, instead of just in the US?

I've been searching for a trailer or preview, even screenshots, but came across nothing except the box cover itself.

Well guys, looks like it's going to be a global release:

http://www.dvdenlared.com/dvd/En%20busca%2...los%20voladores

According to this page (it's in spanish) lbt region 2 dvd will be released 13th of December, this year. It also says it's doubed in Brazilian Portuguese, so it'll probablybe released here around the same time. All the italian fans can also be happy, it's also doubed in Italian. So I see no reason for it not to be in German, Dutch, French, and so on. :D

I would certainly say all Region 1 countries would come out at the same time, Region 2 next, etc. etc.  Releasing all titles at the same time is a good move--less chance for piracy from those who can't wait to see it or want immediate satisfaction.

Please don't tell me it's that big chinese fraud, that was a major hit on the news a few years back \: LBT has always abused of scientific innaccuracy, first two-fingered raptors, now a dino that never really existed  <_<
There have been found other dino fossils with feathers, but the most famous one (which you can see in the picture below) was a major fraud.

Is this the print you saw?

No that not it at all. it didn't even look like that. the one I saw... well I can't really discribe what it looked like. it very vage now. but the fossil image they used was from a official source that tha a creature lived with feathers but it was under the arms to believed and the charcater in number 12 was created by using the fossil like a outline then created a cartoon LBT version of it.

So Neworder. thats not the image we saw. I am quite sure of it now :) it no fake dinosaur trust me on that  ;)

btw do you guys know yet what his name is?

His name is Guido. Don'tcha remember? And, as I predicted, he's gonna be voiced by the one and only voice over leg-end Rob Paulsen! ;)
