Well, Saft isn't the only one getting a starday poem from me this year, heh heh. This one isn't as long as hers, as I've known you a lot less, but I think it will do to add a little bit of extra cheer on your special day (at least, I hope it does).
Shout “Hooray!” for this awesome girl.
Her star day has arrived.
Though she’s faced a lot throughout her life,
She’s done well and survived.
She has a great deal going for her.
She’s smart, creative, and fun.
If you want a friend who’s there for you,
I can assure that she’s the one.
We spend a lot of time online,
And boy, I love our talks.
Furthermore, I have to say,
Her pair of glasses rocks!
She truly does a splendid job,
When she sits atop a horse.
Does she have grace and balance?
To that I shout, “Of course!”
She is not dull in any way.
Her interests range from far and wide.
She reads a lot of fan fiction,
And enjoys the epic Elfen Lied.
Today’s a very special time.
She’s finally become a teen.
Though it doesn’t matter much,
As her maturity was always keen.
Her nickname is quite accurate.
People call her, “Awesome sauce.”
For those who never cross her path,
They suffer quite a loss.
I’m here to tell you something now,
Though I really can’t say it enough:
Her writing is just so wonderful;
It’s clear she really knows her stuff.
Now I am quite sorry to report,
That this is all I have to say.
But with every single bit of my heart,
I wish her a wonderful day.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fodET17BXb8Eh, I know it doesn't compare to a tangible gift, but my options are rather limited, heh heh. Welcome to the world of teenage living. (I know I said that I'd get all caffeined up for the recital to give it that extra oomph, but based off my speed, I think I overdid it. Ohhhhh well.)
