Sukki popped her head out of some bushes nearby the house, as a pair of village guards ran past. They appeared to be searching high and low for something...or perhaps someone. "Think I saw her head towards the gate." one of the guards said, as the other nodded, and they slowly disappeared further into the village.

Sukki sighed in relief, looking at the loaf of bread in her hands. She gleefully took a bite. Being regular bread, it wasn't the most delicious thing she'd ever eaten, but it was warm, fresh and soft to the touch! She definitely chose the right windowsill to steal it from...even though she'd been spotted by the mother of the house, and the guards were quickly alerted.

She was lucky it was the evening; the guards probably hadn't seen her too clearly, but still it was better to keep a low profile. The cat took another bite of her evening's earnings as she silently watched the house across the street. It looked like it was quieting down, the residents had finished supper and were probably going to bed.

...But wait! She ducked down carefully under the bushes again. Someone came out of the house? A man, from the looks of it. She wondered what he was doing. Didn't rich people sleep in comfy, fluffy beds in their houses? Sighing again, she wished she could sleep in a bed sometime too...but for now, she was content on watching this individual, to see what he would do next, all while trying to remain hidden from his sights.

Thought this might be a good time to join in, since my character is somewhat oriental XD

If I can join in, could someone give me a brief summary of recent events so I know what's going on, and where everyone is now? Normally I read any RP I'm going to join...but 195 pages would take forever ^_^;

Thanks for the welcome! Yeah in fact my screenname is from Neopets. Kind of odd really...I'm not that fond of Neopets as a game, but I adore that creature ;p It's a name that just stuck somehow over the years! Though nowadays people usually call me 'Wox' XD

Appearance: A humanoid cat sporting short white fur. Her hair is a big, scruffy mess, much like the rest of her fur. She always appears slightly dirtied up and rough around the edges; no doubt a side-effect of her 'wild child' lifestyle.

Facial Features: Gold eyes. A vertical black stripe cutting across her left eye; gives the appearance of a scar, though is actually just an abnormality in her fur colour.
Body Shape: Thin, lithe figure. Height varies from 4 ft to 5 ft 5 in, depending on age. Sukki has plantigrade legs.

Clothing Style: A red floral-patterned cheongsam; the garment is largely ruined, the colours faded and material torn in several places. She never wears any kind of footwear.




Background in brief: A cat who has spent most of her life living in the wild forests. Recently she has met some friends, and has been making attempts to enter society while learning to read and other key skills.

Notes: Sukki has an odd 'verbal tic' - she has a tendency to add the word 'meow' during and after some sentences. Some find this trait endearing, while others find it just plain annoying! But it's a habit she just can't seem to shake off...

Hi vonboy! I'm more of a general fan of roleplaying, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't like Land Before Time at all ^^ I haven't watched the TV show (...only just heard of it, in fact!), but I watched the movies over and over again back in the day. I was always sour about the crazy rainbows they had in their world...why aren't our rainbows like that?!

And yeah that's Chibiterasu XD Okami is a brilliant, if criminally undersold, game! I still haven't finished Okamiden (though it is very good too!) mostly because I have trouble focusing on 'big adventure' games on tiny handhelds...hopefully if Okamiden does well enough they'll make another home console game ^^
