I'm curious and baffled. Why would you ever vote out the original?
Sorry, but the movie is too sad for us. But I do like the Ducky and Petrie scenes. 
Yeah, I have to admit that I just don't have as much nostalgia for the first movie as I do for the sequels. It wasn't one of my favorites as a kid for a few reasons. It was far from being the first LBT movie I saw, for one thing--LBT 7, 9, and 2 had already become my favorites, and for a while I only watched all the other movies very rarely. Not to mention that I lost my videotape of the original when I was really little and didn't get a new one until years afterward, which robbed me of the chance to build up childhood memories of watching it. And heck, once I did watch that movie again for the first time in ages, I was old enough that Littlefoot's mother's death just destroyed me. Don't get me wrong, though, I'm not saying I
dislike the first movie--it's the origin story of my favorite cartoon characters ever, so great by default in that regard. Just not my personal favorite of their adventures.
To be honest, I mostly voted it out for spite, since you all were so quick to give my number one fave the boot.

@WeirdRaptor I'm guessing my brother meant to type IV instead of IX, because Journey Through the Mists was already voted off but you still have it on this list.
My vote for this round is The Mysterious Island.
