Should the songs be removed?

I used to like the LBT songs when I was younger. Nowadays the only LBT songs I don't mind listening to are "If We Hold On Together" and "Who Needs You?"

I believe if they contribute, and aren't Oops Eeps irritating, they can stay, though it's not primary tradition, it's currently... tradition, kinda like the Pledge of Allegiance

I definitely think the songs should stay. After 13 ovies, watching one without songs would just feel odd.

My personal favorite song is "Beyond the Mstterious Beyond," and I have about five 2nd favorites, including but not limited to "One of a Kind," "Kids Like Us," "Things Change," "Family," and "Bestest Friends."

I wish Ducky would get some songs where she's the lead singer; the other three get so many of those (except Spike  :^.^: )!

I actually enjoy the Gang's singing voices in just about every movie. I mean, V had all of my favorite songs in it really. "Always There," "Big Water," "Friends for Dinner" - (which was adorable.) Though hearing "Kids Like Us" makes me tear-up. I mean thats one of the things that drew me to the rest of the movies. Talking, singing, child-like dinosaurs.  :lol

The songs never really bothered me, regardless of how crappy or corny they may have sounded. I would be dumbstruck if they actually removed songs completely from LBT. It's like tradition now. Whenever I watch a LBT sequel I always expect there to be some songs. It's just refreshing to hear the gang sing every now and then.

I really got totally used to singing dinos by the age of three so it's never really bothered me before.  I mean, when you're three years old, you don't typically think anything is lame because you haven't seen too much in your life.

presonally I like 95% of the songs, only a few I find annoying other then that I like the rest so I say no they should stay :)

I'd be interested in what they might place if my Caves of Mystic Sounds get the interest to the point of possible making out of. Still no idea on that but hope to get word.

I'm fairly certain the popularity of lbt would drop if they removed all the songs.  Though I"m not sure by how much.  Some fans would be pissed and would quit due to that fact alone.

You make a very good point Kor, and while I can admit some songs are better than others, I believe the songs should be kept...if only to entertain the younger audiences like ages 5-10 yrs. old

Some of the songs are really not limited to the younger audience. I think the hiring of well known singers for the closing credit versions of "No one has to be alone" and "Bestest Friends" may have been an attempt to make the songs more acceptable for an older audience (in both cases I must say I preferred the movie over the closing credit version).

I can't think of any songs I flat out hated, most songs fit into three categories:

1) Memorable songs (a few days later I could still remember a few words and/or the tune)

2) Average songs (they were nice to listen to at the time but afterwards I couldn't remember a bit of it)

3) Redeemed songs (Didn't like them the first time I heard them, but after a few more times they grew on me)

My favorite songs are ones sung on a very small scale (i.e. ones sung only by the five main characters while they're alone). I didn't like as much the giant songs where everyone in the Great Valley is dancing and singing along ("Creepy Crawlies," "Flip Flap and Fly," "Yellow Belly Hop"). I just don't think of the adults as people who would break out into song and dance like that.

The only song that I outright hated was "Who Needs You". Everything else was ok. But I would be interested to see a DVD version with the option to skip the songs.

LOL.  I actually did that. :lol See, when I buy a movie, I don't ever play it.  I copy it and keep the original in a box cuz the disks always seem to get ruined.  When I do this, I can specify the scene selection and features to either be the same as the source (the original DVD), or manual settings.

EDIT:  and no, I'm not talking about DVD ripping.  I copy the entire disk including special features, menus, and titles. :p

Wow...that's a lot of "no's"

I mean we've gotten some good ones but to be realistic they aren't worth keeping. Even if they were all good, like I previously suggested, they're better gone.

So yes, they should be removed.

Oh, and Darkhououmon, I really like "Who needs u?" as well! It's from 4, the first LBT movie I saw in it's enirety!  :smile

And it's by Ichy and Dil, two of the funniest villians in the series.  :smile
