You know, they're both wise in their own way, both small and green, both having their own unique speech patterns, both posessing a deep inner spirit...

you get what I'm saying?

Not really, Yoda is old and wise, while Ducky is just the opposite.

You mean young and stupid?  That is the opposite.

I'd say she'd young and inexperienced.  Not young and stupid.

I don't see how they're similar besides their color.

I see only 2 similarities:

1.) Both green

2.) Have distinct speech (Yoda - inverted word order, Ducky - anaphora and no use of contractions)

Please read and rate: Land Before Time: Twilight Valley - The GOF's original LBT war story.

Exactly, in addition to being good-natured and giving advice.  But that's it ;).

I never noticed her lack of contractions.  I suppose it's because I don't use them myself.  I have to consciously use contractions when I type because I don't normally use them much when speaking verbally.  I find that using contractions while typing increases efficiency and decreases writing time by up to 6%, however when speaking, it makes very little difference.

sometimes I use contractions in conversation and sometimes I don't, in normal conversation.  I always do in typing.

Also Yoda, noble as he is, is still a warrior. Ducky certainly isn't. I know that some will disagree, but the thought of Ducky using weapons on anyone seems extremely unlikely, apart from the fact that weapons don't fit into LBT in general in my opinion.

I don't think, that master Yoda and Ducky have anything in common. They even from the different types of media: a movie character and a cartoon. :)

Their also sort of similar in the way they always serve the greater good, even at expense to themselves.
