"Marking the first major milestone for Universal's newly formed family entertainment label, Universal Studios Home Entertainment Family Productions (USHEFP) today announced that it has commenced production on 26 episodes of a new animated TV series, The Land Before Time. The series is slated to debut on Cartoon Network in 2007 and will be subsequently distributed on DVD by Universal."

This is great news indeed! :DD
-
Yes i read about this last night i was surprised but i look forward to checking it out. However it’s not coming out till 2007. I was also shocked to read that it said Movie 12 would not be out till 2007 :( :cry2 I figured it be out either later this year or earlier 2006
-
Well, it looks like the filmmakers of the series are finally wisening up, taking more time with each sequel, and are accepting the inevitable (a TV series). About time. Just think about how much trouble they'd have saved if they'd just done this from the beginning.
-
With a 2-3 years between each film, the animation might be better, the plot might be better, and the characters might be developed better.
As for the series, It is probably going to be like any other cartoon show. Simple plot and no story.
-
Well, its not like LBT was designed to have a single, long term plot. I think an animated LBT series woul dbe quite entertaining.
-
Looking forward to seeing a series. But sadly it will take longer to show itself here in the UK if they did that. about 6 months or so. But if they did a series of Land Before Time. It would be on either CITV or CBBC. Both of them Children times and shows. some are not so good and some are cool.
You even get to watch very old cartoons on these shows. Also there is Toonattic a new cartoon show for weekends. they show cartoons from Diseny to cartoons that brought out in the UK. there latest to the weekend is the Fantanic 4 and American Dragon both I like to sit down and watch even it around 8am in the morning :)
other then that I look forward to seeing a Land Before Time series and look up for information off Aria. see if she know about this

Greetings from Scotland :)
Hmmm... I'm in kind of a split-mind about this. Much as I relish on the idea of many new LBT stories to come, I'm very worried that they might not care about good stories anymore or not care about what has been said in previous movies. Also the series might be send in America and perhaps England only so quite a few of us may not even be able to see it
-
Malte is correct; TV episodes do tend to be more vulnerable to cliches and jading than movies, since they need to be produced in greater numbers and their stories need to be more compressed.
-
The series has already become cliche. Its not like we actually have anything to lose at this point.
-
I agree with WierdRaptor.
-
I do not. So long we still care about LBT there is something to loose as far as I am concerned. This is not meant to imply that anyone of you would care less about LBT, but we just seem to feel different about it.
-
We already have the original film, 10 sequels, and a TV show coming up along with another sequel. What are we losing, anyway? It looks like we've got a lot to look forward to. The TV series can't be any worse than the sequels.
-
my question is, is ali going to be in any episodes? I Hope so, the end of LBT 4 hinted at Ali;'s return, but didn't say when.
-
Well, a TV series would definitely give them many opportunities to do so. She may even end up as a regular guest.
-
To be honest, I saw this coming a long time ago. I've always said "I wonder when they're gonna make a TV series of LBT coz it has all the prospects to become one". Somehow, like the majority of movie to TV animations, the visuals will be slightly downgraded so that production wont take as long as I'm sure it already will but I think this will be the big opportunity people have been waiting for to revisit past characters i.e. Bron, Ali, Pat, Sue, Mo etc.
As for screening, the UK probably wont get it straight away but it will hit are shoreline (as everything else in the entertainment world does) a good 1/2 year or so after the US. I'd imagine it will be aired on the Sky channels before it comes to terrestrial TV. Probably Cartoon Network most likely.
Well, as cool as this all sounds, we've still got a wait on our hands (I dont mean literally sitting down on your hands LOL j/king :lol). LBT 12 will be due soon but, as always, I'm keeping an open mind to this and I'll be grateful to hopefully catch a few glimpses of the episodes in the run up to it's premiere.
One question... you reckon the original cast will star in it? I'm sure the regulars will but what about the voices of the special guest stars that were in the movies? I doubt they're gonna be about to keep them for the series. And there's the same problem with finding a single voice for Littlefoot! Who's gonna play him if they keep switching him since Dekker after #9? This oughta be interesting...
-
I see this as no surprise. The reason being is because I think the franchise is actually making less money than it once was, thereby leading to a tv series. TV series can get away with choppier animation and still be OK, so it technically should cost less in the short run to change production. As Littlefoot said, Universal's in this for money--and they can save money by changing the method of production.
I can't predict what will happen. Sure there will be "regulars" and I suppose Ali could be one of them; she has yet to return. Time will tell what will happen.
-
Hi everyone just letting you all know I am giving it a shoot to audition for the Land Before time series and I am not joking. I am doing this seriuusly, I have sent a clip of me doing some lines to Aria's mum she going to pass it on to the directors. now all I do is keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best. I might not be able to do the voices to a great detail but I can still feel it out as the words was placed down in the scripts to the lbt movies.
Well now the waiting game begins :)
-Threehorn
-
Good luck Threehorn! Hope you get a part!
-
thanks :D
-THreehorn
-
What part were you trying out for? or do you not care what part you were given as long as you get one?
-
I don't really mind if I get in for any part that will be enough. But it a long shot in all and all. best of luck is needed for this and I might be the only one from the UK even auditioning lol
-Threehorn
-
You're right, but all you can do is hope.
-
That would be amazing! You can give us the scoop on the next episode. LOL!
-
Good luck Wayne. ;) It would be interesting to get a role in a film you've always admired.
-
Had no word yet from Aria's mother. just waiting on word still
-Threehorn
-
Like I told you via MSN, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! :)
-
I am still awaiting on news from the Aria's mum not even sure how long a voice auditions would take... maybe a week or two... I don't know does anyone know how long a audition would take?
-Threehorn
-
While I've never auditioned, I'm guessing a week... depending on a number of factors...
-
Any word yet?
-
Any luck Threehorn?
-
been while since someone posted here and I had no luck ages ago about the audtioning oh well no biggy it was just a trail and error of trying to get some where :)
I talked to Aria about 4 weeks ago she spoke of things going well on the series. but no new news about it still.
sorry -_-
-Threehorn
-
Hi!
It is funny that you mention this today Wayne, for today I got another piece of official information. I didn't post it earlier to ask if publishing it was alright at this time. There will definitely be a recuring character in the TV series. Dorian Harewood is going to voice Mr. Thicknose in the TV-series. No information on any other character reappearing, but I suppose with Mr. Thicknose becoming the seconed ever character to return in a speaking role (Chomper being the first) we may be carefully optimistic. :)
-
Sorry too hear about your misfortune Threehorn but it was great that you gave it a shot. Does Aria work for the company or does she have family that works for the company and you're friends with her?
-
I am friends with her and she one of the actors in LBT. plays as Ducky in the series and in the movies. Me and Jason been talking to her by emails and so has Malte at times not sure when he does though :p
(btw should I pin this topic?)
-Threehorn
-
If you want. To be honest I wasn't a big fan of Mr. Thicknose in LBT 8. Maybe because the actor voicing him couldn't sing very well.
-
To be honest I wasn't a big fan of Mr. Thicknose in LBT 8.
Neither was I. Yet perhaps they are in need of a wise old dinosaur other than Littlefoot's grandfather. A character who knows more about the Great Valley (having spend there all his life). It is for this latter reason that I have Mr. Thicknose involved in one of my upcoming story on a slightly more important role (not exactly a major one though) than the one he has in my current story (where he is a mere background character). As for the voice there is a new one. I never heard of Dorian Harewood or his voice. Does anyone here? Here is a list of his movies (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0002126/) which is quite impressive. I never heard any English version of any of the movies listed there, but some of you did for sure.
-
Mr. Thicknose, huh? Well I have to admit that I'm no fan of him, yet I do not mind him showing up on the series. To be honest, I could care less if the writers just went off and killed him. Though him showing up as a one time charcter might not be such a bad thing.
As for the one playing his voice, Dorian Harewood, I looked up his list and found it to be quite impressive.

As you can see, I've been quite the fan of him and haven't even noticed. :P:
As I can recall from the Astro Boy Series, he did quite the impressive Tenma, and as I recall, he does sound alot like Mr. Thicknose's original actor. So a serious voice change we don't have to worry about. (Though I'm not worried myself.) He'll probably have only a slight difference that is hard to detect, but that's pretty much it.
Some of the shows, like Batman: The Animated Series, I have seen every single episode of, so there is no doubt I have heard him before in those, I just can't remember them well. -_-
If you ask me, he'll do fine as Mr. Thicknose, though I could care more if he was doing a more important role like Littlefoot's Grandpa.
-------
Oh, and an announcement for me to make. My sister and big brother will soon be moving in and as a result, we're getting Direct TV. (One of THE best satilite companies in the world.) If things go well, I will see the series on time after all. :^.^: (That is IF I get Cartoon Network. Which I have no doubt that I will.)
So sorry, but it seems that I won't be sharing your upcoming pain, Malte. :)
-
So sorry, but it seems that I won't be sharing your upcoming pain, Malte.
Not like I would feel better about other people feeling worse.
-
never heard of Dorian Harewood or his voice. Does anyone here? Here is a list of his movies which is quite impressive. I never heard any English version of any of the movies listed there, but some of you did for sure.
Gargoyles, hey? That was a great animated series :p. This fellow played a number of minor roles, it seems. I see he was in the TV series, "Viper" as well. It was short-lived, but I remember it simply because it was filmed here in Calgary, my home town.
Trivia: Filming in Calgary, Alberta required frequent closure of the city's Deerfoot Trail - its major freeway - much to the consternation of locals. Nonetheless, the use of the city for location shooting for this series sparked a decade-long upswing in film and TV production in Calgary as many US and European productions set up shop in the Canadian city. (more)
Frequent closing of Deerfoot Trail...yeah, that was fun :slap
Anyways, back to Mr. Thicknose :lol
Mr. Thicknose, huh? Well I have to admit that I'm no fan of him, yet I do not mind him showing up on the series.
I actually didn't mine Mr. Thicknose so much. He was a little different addition to the cast, and I felt he was rather well-integrated into the plot of LBT 8, despite the film's other flaws which I won't discuss in this topic.
I for one, am happy to see the return of a minor character like Mr. Thicknose. He may prove to enhance the series if his character is employed effectively. I wasn't a particular fan of him, but I found him interesting enough that I have no concerns with bringing him back in moderation.
I just wonder how Thicknose will be changed from his experiences in LBT 8. How will the others view him. He did, after all, help to protect the Gang in the Mysterious Beyond. How will the adults view him in the series? Will he have gained back much of the respect he lost when he couldn't back up his knowledge claims?
Perhaps the adults will show respect once again for Thicknose, has he is being more open an honest with the world.
-
Mr. Thicknose being in the series is a good idea. I do hope that the grownup's respect him now. I never had a real problem with Mr. Thicknose or the voice actor who played him.
-
Mr ticknose is a good idea for the series.
-
Hi I've asked Aria and her mother replied with nothing new to report at this time and that about it. sorry guys if there was anything new I would post it right away but so far there nothing much going on. seem to be in tight doors of what going on with the themes in the series.
-THreehorn
-
Hi guys
I can't say much but when I can I will do so at once, I have been told the last day for voice overs on the series and other things, but sadly I can't give it out to you guys, I gave my word to Aria and her mother that I wouldn't tell anyone. Soon as I am able to I will let you all know of the informatation that I am been told.
I know this isn't much of a update but I have to keep to faith and word that I wouldn't speak of what happening over there till they gave the all clear for me to do so. I don't know if it ok or not for me to tell when they finished the voice overs so till I know for sure, I will wait till they say its ok.
-Threehorn
-
From what I know about the series all charcaters that been in the movies before hand will make some appearence in the series and maybe Ali will be making a one epsiode appearance but not very very sure.
-
Youi have vto keep your word Threehorn.. its an invaluable currency.. We'll be patient, although I don't like the fact that they may be only having Ali appear in one episode.. seems to be nothing more that a sop to older fans by having her appear in a cameo role...
-
Well I am not totally sure about it. there is a possible out come with each from the movie appearing or some I am not truly sure.
-
If anything, would it make more sense that she be a major character? After all we know Chomper's going to be one...Anyway, We'll see.. It will be interesting to see how the produced handle this..
-
Sounds interesting. Is this information official?
Did Aria tell you about this or wherefrom did you learn about the appearance for every movie character in the series.
I'm not really sure if every single character is really suited for another big entrance. Perhaps some will appear, but just as silent "guests" same as some characters have had guestappearances throughout the movie sequels too.
-
Well I visited the LBT office in LA and one of the people working there told me about it and something like that with charcaters appearing again. one of them I know for sure is Mr THicknose.
-
let just hope they don't have him 'sing' this time
-
There is an office about LBT in LA? Did you ask about deleted scenes from the original movie and the sequels and their whereabouts?
-
no. It was more like a tour me and Jason went on that Aria and her mum took us on in the Universal building that the office is. where they talk about it and stuff. I even met the director of Land Before Time who was up there and people that work on the colouring of the picutes before the animation.
I did ask about Ali though and something about it that she might. might be in the series but not too sure about it. I never asked about the first lbt and it delete sences I would of thought that would be rude at the time and it was very kind of Aria and her mum to take us there.
-
Well at least you were able to get that tidbit.. at least the producers haven't completely forgotten her...
-
Cool!
That's really quite something. You could actually talk to Mr. Grosvenor? And you and Jason met in America?
-
I was in LA before him and he stayed for 2 nights and 2 days in the same hotel as me on the first full day me and him went to Universal and then the studios afterwards it was a very cool day. And januray is the time series start in Cartoon Network.
-
so it was purely by chance that you guys met up? That's cool!
-
kind of, I Was going there anyway. and Jason was going there for a few days before going on a TrekAmerica for 2 weeks I told him where I was staying so he book a room in the same hotel.
-
Looks like the UK is getting primed for the upcoming TV series. Apparently, all last Sunday (Sunday just gone) Cartoon Network had a complete LBT marathon. And I mean COMPLETE! Every LBT movie from the masterpiece that started it all...right up to the mad antics of the Tinysauruses! Back to back all Sunday! Unfortunately, I happened to be visiting my old university town, seeing some old friends so I missed it. :slap D'oh! But don't matter, give it a little while and the series will be out for us to see...eventually!
-
I noticed that as well when I was over my neighbour house Alby's. I was over there to get a yorkshire pud out for lunch when I asked Ably to see what was on Cartoon Network and there it was Land BEfore time. I was amazed to see it showing on there but now I know why lol. Well once it begins in 2007 I will be recording them all from my neighbours tv. He said I could and that made my year lol.
well look out for any new news about the series, I know everyone keeping more of a eye on number 12 but keep a eye out on news about the series that going to be just as important to find out more :) keep your eyes peeled my friends :D
-
Hey, Guys. The series is going to start on Cartoon Network on March 5th. It looks like it will be shown weekday mornings at 9:30 am. Here's my TV Guide confirmation:
TV Guide (http://tvguide.com/detail/tv-show.aspx?id=6255579&sourcetype=s)
Now it should be a little easier to catch it.
-
Thank you for that info! :)
*marks March 5th*
-
Hey, March 5th is my birthday! :DD heheh
-
Is this only for the US version of Cartoon Network?
I guess this means that episode, the cave of many voices, is the first episode. This is really bad, I can't see a reason for them to start a series with out explaining important things like why is Chomper there?
-
They will probably explain it later (second episode maybe?)
-
I doubt it, but even if they did it made no sense. The only way for them to get away with this was if they had released a previous episode or some sort of movie explaining it. What they've done is just wrong.
-
Have patience, they will probably explain it all in time.
-
Just received this live from Cartoon Network. The UK (and possibly European) release of the LBT TV series has an official date. And it's a lot sooner than realised! Monday 16th April (this coming monday), Cartoon Network's sister channel "Boomerang" will be showing the LBT series at 4pm starting this coming Monday and to kick off its launch...Boomerang is hosting another LBT weekend. (LBT 1-11 all weekend). Sadly, Boomerang is only available by Sky and other digital receiving signal equipment but give it some time and I'm sure it will move over to terrestrial channels before long.
Just thought I'd share that with you guys still waiting to see the series on your own TV screens. :)

-
Sci-Fi and NBC are owned by Universal. ABC is owned by Disney.
-
I think the series is going to be on dvd relatively soon. Here's a link that appears to be the first issue of episodes on dvd (can't confirm what it really is, just taking a guess based on the title).
Amazing Adventures (http://www.amazon.com/Amazing-Adventures-Full-Sub-Dol/dp/B000R8YC2W/ref=sr_1_1/002-7500574-4229603?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1180180886&sr=1-1)
-
The release date for the next set of episodes has been confirmed. It will be released on may 13th. Here's the amazon pre-order:
Through the Eyes of a Spiketail (http://www.amazon.com/Land-Before-Time-Through-Spiketail/dp/B00152VVQY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1204438621&sr=1-1)
Hopefully, it has the title episode on the disk.

here is the image of the cover, I must say that pretty cool! well part from Littlefoot's neck looks very very strange
-
You are right Threehorn.. Littlefoots neck is too short, and his body for some reason looks stuffed. But other than that it is a very nice cover!
-
Oh my god. I gotta say, that picture made me laugh. Honestly, they need to hire better cover artists. That cover is appalling.
-
I must agree, the cover could be nicer. :(
-
Thanks for the information, another thing to add to my to buy list. And I agree, Littlefoot does look odd, I wonder why the artist drew him like that and how it got through without someone noticing.
-
It's really stupid looking, like all the covers, but I'm buying it anyway. YES! LBT is so far from dead. :yes
-
YES! LBT is so far from dead. :yes
Ya hit the nail on the head, LBTL ;). Yes, LF's appearance could really use some work. Sadly, Cera looks a little cross-eyed, almost high :P:. Apart from that, neat image. I for one know art is not easy, especially animation. However, this is just one image and there outta be no excuse for why these two look the way they do. Keep 'em coming, Universal, and come out with that sequel soon B).
-
They must be trying to make the characters on the cover look like the plushes. :lol
-
They must be trying to make the characters on the cover look like the plushes. :lol
Lord help us if that's the case!
*Runs away and dives under sheets*
The plushies are coming! The plushies are coming!
:lol :lol
-
I'd think it would be easier to do a screen capture and use that for a cover.
-
It would seem easier, yep yep yep. But, that would be thinking now, would'nt it :slap?
-
It would indeed. :yes
-
wow this is a great show.
-
I do like some episodes more then others, though overall I do like the series. Still find it odd to add an extra group member when the format is shorter then a movie. Though I can see why they'd add Chomper. He's popular with fans, that would mean more viewers then without Chomper being there perhaps. Likely fans were mailing and emailing asking for Chomper to be in another movie as well. So they are satisfied too.
-
yes ,Chomper is popular and he is kind of like the 6th member of the group because even though he was not in part one he is a part of the gang. :)
-
I guess they added Ruby into the gang because there has never been another dinosaur in any of the movies that is the same species as her, so I guess they wanted something else new. I do agree on how the show is much more popular with Chomper in it. I think it would have tanked if possibly the most fan favorite character was not in the tv show.
-
ya thats how i see too because the show and the movies have all sourts of dinosaurs living togeter in the valley getting along with one another. :yes
-
That is one of the good things about it. It seems that not all dinosaurs are use to this, though some don't have much of a problem with other kinds of dinosaurs not all of them are as open as this.
-
thats right its good to know how all the dinosaurs react to others it makes it more interesting it may get you thinking what will happen? and how will others react around each ohter?
-
This post is regarding the image used for the "Through the Eyes of a Spiketail" DVD.
I saw it on the Wal-mart website under the "Coming Soon" category under entertainment. Universal IS using that image discussed on here despite its, well, strangeness. Strange...
-
The characters look a little strange, to me at least.
-
*marks May 13th*
Can't wait! ^^
-
Is May 13th when the TV series starts again or something?
-
That is when the next dvd of the tv series should be coming out in region 1, the 4th one so far.
-
Just a friendly reminder: "Through the Eyes of a Spiketail" DVD comes out tomorrow in the US B). Whooo!
-
I wonder when it will be out on online stores such as Amazon, cause that's were I'll be standing ready to hunt it down! :^.^:
/Lillefot
-
It should be available from amazon at the same time I think. You can pre order and they'll ship it to you when it is available. That is the us amazon. I've no idea when the uk amazon will get it or what, if any, LBT tv series dvd's are out there.
-
Well, it's finally out. Of course, you KNOW one episode that WILL be on here, which is "Through the Eyes of a Spiketail". The other three are, "Stranger From the Mysterious Above", "March of the Sand Creepers" and "The Forbidden Friendship".
On top of that, the Bonus Features include a Sing-A-Long Version of "Adventuring". Nice! :yes
17 of the 26 so far. Only 9 left.
Keep it going Universal. :^.^:
-
it all sounds good,
-
I checked it out, and it turns out the Adventuring Sing-a-Long is the "Through the Eyes of A Spiketail" version. I'm kind of disappointed at that. -_-
-
This may be a little off-topic, but did y'all see the KFC ad posted by Threehorn? There's a future LBT TV series DVD featured in the ad :)! It appears, in my opinion, that the image used for the next DVD is of better quality :yes. I dunno what anyone else here thinks of it; just thought I'd ask .
Seventeen out of twenty-six eps already released? Hmm...that's nine eps left. I wonder how they'll even that out, as the DVDs show a pattern of four eps per DVD .

Well, they've already made it possible for that rule to stay in tact by putting "The Hidden Canyon" as a Bonus Feature for "LBT 13: The Wisdom of Friends".
Hmm, my best guess is that they'll bring out a 20 Year Anniversary Edition of the original LBT and it will have an Episode as a Bonus Feature. Wouldn't that be nice? :^.^:

I just got the title for the next Episodes dvd. It is called Friends Forever and is coming out on December 2nd.

Hello:
That's good news indeed :DD .
-
That is good news indeed. I wonder which episodes will be on that one.
-
Yeehaw! More LBT :D!
-
party jeeeeeeeeeeeeeehaw! :lol
-
That reminds me, kjeldo. I dont think the series will ever come to our country... that is because universal benelux has been taken over by the french universal.. They just dont want to translate for us, little country..
Maybe thats why lbt 13 was so badly translated, too..
It's good news for sure! :)
-
I'm not sure how hard it is but maybe you can get french or uk versions and watch them in those languages.
-
I guess it shouldnt be too hard to get... I'll see :)
-
Hopefully you can get them, Iris... That would be good for you... ;)
-
Good luck on finding an easy way to get them.
-
and it would be good for mine too! ;)

I can't wait for this.
-
Okay!
I watched like one or two eps of the actual series!
And I was sorta dissapointed!
I mean, first of all, they didn't bring back the main staff!
And I just didn't get it. It wasn't as interesting as the movies...
So, I decided to stick with the movies that touched my heart!!
-
wise choice man wise choice!
-
I mean, first of all, they didn't bring back the main staff!
Wait, I thought they did, didn't they? Which characters had new voice actors?
-
I guess there are many who disliked the tv series. As for the changing voice staff, certain voices seem to change with every movie, like Littlefoot.
There are some of the same voices from some of the movies and tv series though.
Looks like most of the folks have the same voices as some of the more recent movies.
Chomper as a different one then the 2nd and 5th movies, but that is to be expected since such a long time passed between those 2 movies and the tv series.
Mr. Clubtail has 2 different voice actors, guess they take turns, or use whoever is handy.
-
Okay, so that's it, huh? This makes a total of 25 of 26. So, how's the last one going to appear? My guess, they'll bring out "Land Before Time: 20th Anniversary Edition" and put the final episode right on there.
Anyways, it makes me wonder which four of the final five is in this one. Let me take a look at my old list and then we'll discuss this. :)
EDIT: Okay, let's see what we got here:
Episode 1: The Canyon of Shiny Stones x
Episode 2: The Great Log-Running Game x
Episode 3: The Brave Longneck Scheme x
Episode 4: The Meadow of Jumping Waters x
Episode 5: Days of Rising Waters x
Episode 6: The Cave of Many Voices x
Episode 7: The Star Day Celebration x
Episode 8: The Mysterious Tooth Crisis
Episode 9: Escape From the Mysterious Beyond x
Episode 10: The Hidden Canyon x
Episode 11: Legend of the Story Speakers
Episode 12: The Bright Circle Celebration x
Episode 13: The Lonely Journey x
Episode 14: The Missing Fast-Water Adventure
Episode 15: The Spooky Nighttime Adventure x
Episode 16: The Lone Dinosaur Returns
Episode 17: Stranger From the Mysterious Above x
Episode 18: The Hermit of Black Rock x
Episode 19: The Amazing Threehorn Girl x
Episode 20: The Big Longneck Test
Episode 21: The Great Egg Adventure x
Episode 22: March of the Sand Creepers x
Episode 23: The Forbidden Friendship x
Episode 24: Return to Hanging Rock x
Episode 25: Search for the Sky Color Stones x
Episode 26: Through the Eyes of a Spiketail x
-----------
Careful research shows the following have not been done yet:
Episode 8: The Mysterious Tooth Crisis
Episode 11: Legend of the Story Speakers
Episode 14: The Missing Fast-Water Adventure
Episode 16: The Lone Dinosaur Returns
Episode 20: The Big Longneck Test
-------------
To be honest, I can't figure out which one will get left behind, even with the theme as a hint of any kind. -_-
-
I assume they will not be putting the Hidden canyon on it since that is on the LBT 13 dvd. I wonder if they'll put the final 5 on the dvd, if they'll do 3 on this one then 3 on another one, including The Hidden Canyon.
-
If they do a 14th movie, they might add the final episode as a special feature.
-
If the next tv series dvd has only 4 episodes it may mean they are planning a 14th movie. Though if they do end up putting all the episodes on the next 1-2 tv series dvd's it does not mean there won't be a 14th movie, there may well be.
-
i think that the 5th episode may be put on dvd movie 14 if there is a 14th movie :yes :) but it could also be another tv series dvd with 3 extra episode on it :^.^: but i do not think so :( because there is not any more episodes hird of or any others that i seen. :)
-
Taking a closer look at the image of the front cover, I think I saw Bron in the background there. So that shows there's a good chance that "The Big Longneck Test" will be one of the episodes on the DVD.
Also, I'd say the fact that Chomper is SO focused on, I think there's a good chance "The Mysterious Tooth Crisis" will be another one.
I can't figure out the last two of the three sadly. So, it all questions... which one will be left out?
-
That means they may either put out a dvd with 2 episodes, including the one on the 13th movie dvd, or they'll put the one missing on the next movie dvd.
As for the other 2, just speculation but they may put in the ones where Doc and Mo appear since they are movie characters that may have a large fanbase.
-
We will have to wait and see how they will do this :) I am not sure about the 14th since Aria haven't spoken to me about anything of it or her mum. Last time I heard they temporally closed the LBT office for a break period of some sort. I gather they just giving it space to start off again with new fresh ideas. I am not sure what going on totally in Unviersal at this time since Aria's mum can't get a direct answer from any of them.
<_< so still what happening to LBT now is unknown since there is no clear answers coming out of NBC Universal...... why do they have to keep us in the dark like this <_<
-
Maybe some folks at universal aren't entirely sure themselves. Must be neat to have one of the voice cast as a friend.
-
I would love to be friends with one of the cast. It's not fair!! Why do you get the cool friends :cry :cry
-
I think they may be moving to another office because something else was supposed to be moving into theirs but they didn't and now they're thinking of what to do.
-
I guess we'll hear if it is just that sooner or later.
-

If I was a member of the cast I don't suppose I would be happy for people wanting to be friend with me for my profession rather than for being the person I was. I don't know for sure of course how I would act if I was a member of the staff of LBT, but I would consider VERY carefully to give away my identity before getting to know people (if I was to give it away at all). Are people who don't happen to be directly involved with the production of LBT automatically anything less than they are or less cool than they are?
No doubt members of the LBT staff would be very welcome and very interesting to all of us because of the insight of how LBT is being made, which we will never have. I would regret if anybody's acting too "different" towards members of the LBT cast would keep any of them from feeling as welcome here for who they are as for what they are. Just thoughts though which may not be shared by members of the LBT cast at all.
-
I would love to be friends with one of the cast.
Yeah so would I.
-
Who knows, maybe some are amongst the members here, but do not announce who they are. Or they could be folks who visit as a guest but never join.
-
They should make movies from LBT fanfics.
-
^ Little realistic options though with hardly a fanfiction existing that is neither a crossing over nor sticking to the rules of the world of LBT as we know it from the movie.
Anyway, I think this thread is moving very far from the original topic, official information about the TV series, so if any of the other topics mentioned here were to be discussed I think we should open own threads for those.
-
They should make movies from LBT fanfics.
I'm not entirely sure I would sell the rights to my personal characters to Universal. Besides, as Malte points out, many fanfics are not movie quality.
-
I guess no word which episodes will be on that one? I wonder why they keep it a secret.

I was meaning fan made movies.
-
at the 11.12.08 comes to follow in Germany and the Switzerland and other countries the first 8 LBT TV in German out
-
Does anyone know how I can watch the entire series via digital? Does Amazon.com Prime or Netlfix have the series?
-
Kylie's yes there is I found a site where you can watch all fourteen movies.
-
So, if the show ever gets rebooted, will there be another pinned topic like this one? Will it replace this pinned topic, or no?
Edit: Uh, I think some people got tricked into thinking this was a reboot announcement topic :lol
-

Like me? You almost got me into thinking that! :lol Anyway, I guess the answer to your question is yes as any continuation of LBT would be monumental news. But let's not get ahead of things just yet. Once we get more proof of the series' continuation, we may discuss these things but for now, that's just wishful thinking (no matter how appetizing that is.) :p

jeez guys
I came here, checked list o f bump topics, noticed half of them are about series, including this one at the top of the list, and my heart hurts with "Whoa? Is 2nd season confirmed???".
Bleah. XD
