Hm... I need a propper name for this little roleplay series. If anybody wants to pitch in a name...
Anyway, so ends The Bashful One RP, and soon comes the anticipated Sequel Blackclaw's Revenge.
Oh, and comment your thoughts about the Bashful One here as well if you'd like. I plan to go over it with everyone's permission and edit it into a proper fan fic story.

Not entirely sure. I suppose its how the story works out
when I started the Bashful One, I simply thought it would be an introduction RP for Denton, and nothing more, but it ended up having a bit more of a story than anticipated
in this RP, I feel there might be a good chance to completely defeat Blackclaw again.. but due to the random natures of RP'ing, one cant say for sure

I highly doubt it.. though your question makes me ponder a new RP for LBT, but in the Random Roleplay Area... whackieness invades the Great Valley

It could be fun, though I wonder if it should go in the Random Roleplay area or the regular one since it may have the lbt characters in it, unless you have other ideas. But you don't want to do to many rp's or you may get in over your head or you may burn out or something. Have to be careful.

I think he means that with 90% of the characters in this rp are normal characters and with little to no magic...this would be a pure RPG. And I'm still waiting for the first post! I'm so exciting!

That question on Blackclaw's brother is an intersting one...I too wonder the fate of one survivor of the botched Great valley assault.

Blackclaw's return to the valley wont be any time soon, however there will be cuts to his scenes in the Beyond where he'll be setting up his plans

Syrius was not speaking sharptooth, he was speaking the common tongue spoken by his kind. Agnog knows just a little bit of it but had remained silent until he was caught by surprise by Syrius's inquiry

Who has been learning, or could learn, sharptooth and how much during the interim between the two parts?
Mim may have an interest. Littlefoot may see if Chomper may not mind teaching him. Not sure if Ducky would have an interest. Petrie may find the language to scary to learn.

Longtail knew several sentences before he entered the valley and now he can speak fluent sharptooth thanks to speaking with Agnog.
Having Chomper translate would be a good idea, and I'm sure Cyrix and Mim could both benefit from learning...

hm, I started to wonder that myself. at first I was planning on making him a loner who happened to had entered at the valley at the time. though he seems rather knowledgeable about the vally and the lands that suround it.
hence also his dealings with Kragoth

I'm not referring to the movie/comic book version. I'm referring to the original Bram Stoker version. who was nothing more than an old man who specialized in the knowledge of the dark arts, occultism and other such things
he was also a professor.. if my memory serves me correctly. who often spoke in riddles and long paragraphs with big wise words

Reminds me of an rpg, forgot which one. You meet this npc dwarf who mentions as part of his story how he was swallowed by a dragon but ate his way out. I assume he had on armor at the time. Still messy either way.

Actually what I had planed was just for the sharptooth's vital blood vessel's to burst inside his body and he bleeds to death, granted all that blood has to leak out somewhere right and Longtail just crawls up and out of the sharptooth stomach....granted he's covered in stomach slime and blood, but safe none the less.

Any who, back on topic. I should revive the Blackclaw and Torgo scene... though Torgo's only mentioned one line so far I'd like to know what y'all think of em ^^ and I hope some of you know the character he's really inspired from.
also, another big surprise is about to come up... not sure if it'll be in my next post or not.But it is coming!

I think right now its been dead because everyone is still recovering from the holidays. I've been feeling ill lately, dizzieness, feeling weak, painful coughs, etc etc.
So its been hard for me to think of a good post to move the story along
that, and I don't think I've seen GreatValleyGuardian anywhere in a while. Perhaps with family til after New Years or something

He's away on a cruise ship till around the second or so. Likely it'll take him a few days I"d guess to get back home, unpack recover from the fun on the ship, ect. I'm not surprised all the rp ended paused with several folks who are active in the rp are away for a while. So the rp's may gradually pick back up next week or 2.

Syrius is the elderly duckbill who was battling Longtail earlier for a test run.. it was called a draw when Longtail did his chaotic scream attack and Syrius called quits from having a migraine and Longtail was fast asleep from exhaustion of his chaotic scream.
I'd say their species is very close to Ducky's kind

I don't mind being called DH. I've had that as a nickname since I joined FF.Net back in 1999 or 2000. DarkHououmon is a bit tricky to spell. ^^; I also don't mind being called Dark or Kacie (my real first name).

I likely will have to leave this rp also since it's WAY WAY WAY past where I can post anything since Ive no idea why the characters would be silent this long, unless something odd like the red horns knocked all of my characters, including Petire, completely unconscious and they stayed unconscious this whole time.
I enjoy rping but I find it impossible to keep up since it seems I have to stay connected 24/7 since folks post to fast.

That's not true. You know, without you, there is no Littlefoot, Ducky, or any other character you use. It would be a real shame if you stopped rping.

Petrie is easy to explain why he's been quiet, he's busy trying to fly around to tell other flyers and other adults about what is going on and Mr. Threehorn's plan, though no idea if any adults will listen or just ignore the always scared Petrie.

I would but I've no idea why the chars I'm doing have been doing nothing since my last post, except for Petrie. The only thing I can think of, which is pretty stupid, is everyone is knocked unconscious right after my last post, which is admittedly a pretty stupid reason but the only one I can think of as to why everyone of the chars I've been doing have been completely inactive this whole time. And I guess Petrie had no success like usual and is off who knows where till he re appears.
That is assuming the rp will not shoot up at the same a speed as it has before.

I wish I knew. I'd guess most of the fast posters may be busy for a day or 2 and will be back to normal in a few days or so, some being in college, having to study, ect.
I also wonder if this part is almost over or not? Or if folks would rather I wasn't in this or the next part, assuming there is a third part.

I was just asking to be sure. No idea why all my characters would have been silent this whole time unless either they were all knocked out, or most of them were away on a trip with one of the adults. Which still leaves me with no idea why Mim has been silent this whole time if I do that with the other characters.

But Mim and Mr Thicknose? Mim has fought, and wrestled, some fastbiters, as the nasty looking scar on her back shows. Not sure if much could scare mr thicknose.

well, this is where GVG is supposed to come in. i would think that he would threaten the group that he would kill Zaine if any of them tried to retalliate. that could explain why Mr. Thicknose and Mim didn't fight.

it probably would. if the red horns had the group surrounded, Kor's children characters would be to scared to respond to anything, and Kor's adult characters wouldn't be able to fight back because Zaine is in danger.

The only serious injury is his broken/fractured left wing, however his cuts and scratches are not that bad. He'll live, but it will be slow going!

I don't think that would be too much of a problem for Longtail, even if he is a flyer he could still travel like "riders" like Petrie and Ducky always do, I think the real problem would have been if Korr would have broken the flyer's tail, since that is Longtail's main defense.

Actually as it turns out his Longtail's tail is so long...most of the bone hasn't set in yet...so almost 84% of his tail is just cartilege like the kind found in your nose. So it can be broken...but it wouldn't be easy.

I think you are correct Kor, I remember in one of Dink's chapters, Flapper got one of his wings hurt and it was set like you said, so I can imagine how will look Longtail after he recovers from the other injuries.
And cool about longtail's tail, even if broken, it may heal faster that way.

So maybe his wing may need to be set using twigs, and mud, or is it assumed that Mim already did that when she saw to his other injuries? I can do an edit of my post if that is wanted.

Yeah probably, but I'm just going to assume Mim set his wing when she was treating his injuries and as long as he doesn't move it for a few days it'll re-set itself.

Oh don't worry when his adrenaline starts to flow his pain all but vanishes...so just put him in a bad situation and see how he responds!

If enough time passes he may have healed naturally. And I still say if I see a single power all 3 of my chars will have powers since it is only fair. It isn't really lbt with folks having powers but if some have powers all should to be fully fair.

Imagine a fighter type with low pain threshold. Or a narcoleptic fighter type.

I do wonder, what has the baddie's brother been up to this time? Has he learned any planteater language? How many have learned sharptooth? What has he been eating? Does he like the foods that Chomper eats?

Well I would assume he'd have to eat things like crawlers and insects, he really has no choice in the matter...I mean it's no like the valley residents are going to sacrifice themselves to keep him alive....I think? o.O

Also buzzers. I wonder if he'd find stinging buzzers spicy like Chomper does. He could also eat fish, if there are any in the great valley.
