So would I. Right now I have so much university work to do that I couldn't really enjoy the movie anyway. Moreover I have yet to see most of the TV series Episodes.

I'd definitely sit and wait. As much as I believe in being a hardcore fan of things, it shouldn't override common sense. And for $100 (GBP £50) I can think of a few others things I could be spending my money on! Like my rent! LOL

It's a total crime to pay $100 for a movie which isn't even published! I can't even afford a Wii.

the bigger problem is trying to find one first. I can wait for the 13th to come out, if it was something else like Smash Bros Brawl then it would be a different story

I'd probably just download it when it became available. Shouldn't we have a LBT 13 thread? Aren't there any news about it?

IMO no matter how big of a LBT fan you are you probably wouldn't pay 100 dollars for a DVD. That is extreme and in my opinion I'd rather wait till it drops down to 20 or rent it when it becomes available. I got the other 12 movies to keep me entertained and I'd wait till the 13th wasn't so much.

I put yes and no as it would depend. If it was some sort of limited promotional deal where they released it for sale for 100 to say only 1000 people and this dvd was diffrent in some way from the one that came out later one. For example a individual serial number that was not only shown on pakaging but on the dvd media and at the menu for chapters etc. Maybe some comentary etc that would not be seen on the retail release etc. In this case yeh 100 bucks for something like that would be well worth it. A simple we have selected 10k people who can buy the land before time 13 now for 100 prior to any one else then no.
Id most likely be pretty iritated that universal pulled a money grubbing move like that.

Why would I waste $100 on a DVD when I could spend it something more important?

100$ for an early copy of LBT13? Pass, I'd wait for it to be released at a more reasonable price. Heck, I even have a hard time deciding to buy movies that go past the $25 price tag.

N and o. You would either have to be rich or insane to do this. I'd definitely wait for the $15 release.

....aaaaalllllrrrrriiiiiggggghhhhhttttt. So, what are you: rich, insane, or both? $1,000 is too much to spend on any DVD, VHS, movie ticket, or anything like that. Seriously, I'd wait like anyone else [sh]would.

It would be best to wait instead of paying $1,000 for a simple DVD. No DVD is worth that much anyway. Just be patient and wait for the movie to come out. Patience is a virtue.

I'm sorry Austin, but sometimes I cannot quite help the impression that you are indeed making too much of a point of the fact that you are rich. You have a collection of laptops while I'm in trouble as my one and only laptop is broken (I'm typing this message on a different laptop) and have to spend a sum of money which really hurts me to spend (as I must get a new laptop being dependent on it for my studies). You get more money for a single birthday than many of us will ever see pilled up at one time. You are capable of spending a thousand bucks for a DvD if it spares you some waiting time; peanuts for you. The point is taken Austin, you don't have to keep making it so often. That kind of behaviour may contribute to create some of the problems you have with other people which you mentioned in other threads. We all know you are very rich in money. Please do show some wealth of other qualities too.
