My main strength is blueprints and map-making. That's what I was taught to do at Brookyln Tech, and I will likely be better at technical drawing than artistic works for the rest of my life.
Regardless, I still wish to draw my characters one day... so...
Here are my first serious stabs are drawing animals. Some raptors, a dragon's head, and a Tyrannosaurus. I don't pretend I ever took serious lessons for these, nor that I have any real talent... I will only get better with practice... give it a year or two... :lol

Hey, that ain't bad at all. Dinosaurs are really difficult to draw, so getting something at all is a great start.
Watching, and hope you improve ;)
Love your maps, BTW.

Thanks.
The maps are easily my strong suit, and even then, it is only really technical drawings... Still, if I can increase my skill in the "regular" art enough, I might be able to merge the two...
And the really hard parts for me are limbs, and faces, along with very curved lines...

Finally! Getting pics to look like what I thought they did.

At least... this one.
Now, to try some different poses with this guy! :lol

Just a clip of a Dracon's tail being stepped on. You can bet I will post longer versions!
:D

Here's one that I like to think of as a happy accident. I'll share it here:
These are the Hork-Bajir from the Animorphs series, if you've ever heard of them.

Here's a new poster. It doesn't quite fit in the other thread.

Looks like you're a good artist. Keep drawing and sharing here, good luck.

Thanks, Kor! :D :D

Here's a new one. I've gotten out of the habit of posting most of these, but the improvement from about six weeks ago is so dramatic, I had to post it. Just check the start of the thread to see how much I used to stink. I still have a way to go, but this is a major improvement.

Here's a more detailed image. I just didn't want my own thread to die, so I decided to show the second draft of a Hork-Bajir head.
