3rd of April, 2015. Somewhere in Norway...
The black SUV taxi drove up trough the snow covered road up to the hangar. It was full storm and in the middle of the night, the windshield wipers were set to full throttle, but still had problems with hit the never stopping snow away from the windshield. The driver sat pasted to the wheel as he tried to see the little peice of the road that was possible to see trough the storm.
He was reliefed when he finaly got to stop infront of two big electronic gates.
He made a little jump when a large, black hand placed itself on his right shoulder.
There were three stiffs in the hand, and the driver took them and said something in
his own language. The owner of the hand didn't answer, but opened the backdoor and went out. The driver hand't even seen his face. And the man vanished immediatly, swallowed by the storm outside. The driver didn't care. He had got paid. That was all that mattered. He turned the SUV around and dissapeared into the night.
5 minutes later, a cellphone was being picked up. A large hand dialed a short number, and a connection tone echoed inside the phone.
The eyes of the man who hold the phone, was glowing, reflecting the flames of the fire in the stove. Outside, the storm was raging, trying to hit trough the large windows.
A click.
"Yes?"
The man pulled the phone to his ear.
"It's I, sir" the man said. His accent could tell that he was not a native speaker.
"I've just returned from our office in London... and I thought I should call you sir, as I thought you had to know..." the man made a short pause.
"We've found him".
The person in the phone became silent for a while...
"Is it him...?
"We're sure. We've read all of his papers. And he has the sign..."
"Were is he now?"
"Still in London, he will arrive at the School in June, just like the 4 others."
The person in the phone was quiet again. He sounded very pleased.
"...Exelent work Mr. Rodriguez... then you know what to do, I suppose?
The man was quiet for a second, then said:
"Yes sir. I do.
Both men said nothing for a few seconds, then they switched a few last words.
"Who is this boy, Mr. Rodriguez?"
"His name is Jamie Knight. He's the first of the Five."

10th June 2015. Somewhere above the Swedish westcoast
Jamie Knight sat in his seat aboard the big Boeing that had lifted 5 minutes ago.
His ears had gotten used to the engines by now, and he lose his seat belt and stretched himself.
He looked out trough the window. A sea of clouds, as long as he could see opened before him. The sky was blue, and the sun was warming trough the window.
Jamie sank back to his seat.
Jamie was 16 years old, but that would have suprised many. His body was muscular, and he had dark brown hair down to his shoulders.
He was wearing sneakers, dark blue jeans, a black T-shirt and around his neck, he a small chain.
He had been flying from Heathrow, and middle landed in Gothenburg, and now sat aboard this plane by some company called SAS.
He wasn't quite sure were he was going, but that didn't matter. He had enough reasons to feel okay. Besides, the service and comfort aboard wasn't to complain about.
He looked into the seats beside him. He wasn't alone.
On the plane from London, he had been the only kid aboard, but now he had company. In Gothenburg, 4 other kids about his age had been boarding.
They sat beside him and in the seats infront of him. 3 boys and a girl.
Jamie stuided one of the boys next to him discreetly, then sighed and pressed a yellow button on the roof. He wanted something to drink.

June 10th 2015 Over southern Sweden.
A light grey F-4E Phantom II was flying over the coast searching for a flight containing five kids. the pilot Gunther Jager was trying to find them since he had heard rumors of five kids who were "Gifted" he did no want them to fall into the wrong hands. He set the plane on auto pilot and opened a bottle of Mountian Dew. "Where are they,' he asked himself before closing the bottle and switched the auto pilot off and continued flying.

Daniel looked out of the little window from the plain. It was sunny and the clouds filled out everything what was below the plain. He leant back into his seat again and was continueing his book "Stormfighters". He never read it whole through and wanted to try it during this trip. But he got interruptet as a song in his earphones began to play that he really liked. He closed the eyes and enjoyed listening to the song.

Gunther took out a clip board and crossed off the name of a flight off the list "there is only one flight left on the list Jaime Knight should be on it,
he said before looking at his fuel gauge. "I'd better land before my plane falls out of the sky the airliner should be landing soon as well,' Gunther said before banking over to the right and headed to the nearest airport.

Kevin Webster waited to be debriefed since he had returned from an assination mission. "So boss what's the next job you have for me,' he asked after his boss walked in.

Masashige sat quietly on the plane, then let a soft sigh escape his lips.
"I wonder if we are almost there..."
He said out loud, twiddling his fingers boredly...

Ricktor Landon had been sitting in a dark corner awaiting a phone call, but after twenty minutes of waiting he was starting to get impatient. He stood up and began pacing the hallway while he waited for his call.

"Something to drink, Mr. Knight?"
Jamie shruddered and looked up. A female flight attendant stood beside the row were he was sitting.
"Yes, do you have Coke?"
"Right away Mr. Knight."
She was just about to leave, but then asked again.
"Mrs. McKey?"
She was speaking to a girl, with halfblonde hair and green eyes that sat next to Jamie. It was hard to see where she were from, she looked like a crossover between chinese and american. Jamie expected her to be atleast a year younger than himself. She was reading a book, and looked up. She took word.
"Oh.. yes, the same!" she said.
The attendant left them, and dissapeared behind a corner at the front of the cabin.
Jamie wanted to say something, but the girl had already gone back to her reading.
He lifted his shoulders, and sank back to his seat. He didn't owe any books himself, but he wished he had bought one in Gothenburg...
But then again, he didn't have any Scandinavian money.
In the seat infront of him, someone broke the silence. It was one of the other 3 boys. "Wonder when We'll arrive...?"
Jamie didn't have any watch. But there was a digital clock at the end of the cabin.
Not knowing the answer, he said nothing. He placed his arms over his chest and returned to watch the view.

Cal looked at the clock on his wrist once more and sighed. He shouldn't have decided to wait that long for the arrival, especially inside a recklessly full cafÈ.
"Where the heck is that guy..." He muttered under his breath, fixing his look on the mirror just across the counter.

Gunther recived his clearence to land "I just hope this flight arrives soon,' he said as his plane came to stop.

Rob had never gotten used to flying, but for some reason he managed to get through without throwing up. Just don't make too much of a scene. That's all you gotta do. He had looked around on the flight before sitting down. There were four other kids just like him, probably going to the same place he was going to. This School for "Gifted" sounds safe enough. I guess my parents really want me to be out of danger's way. But why does it have to be so far away from home?
Across from him, a man lit a cigar. Oh great. Rob uneasily shifted in his seat, but it didn't seem like the man noticed. Rob then tilted his head to the side and closed his eyes, but he couldn't get the image out of his mind. The fire. It's getting bigger! Images of his house burning to the ground flahed through his mind. His bedroom fcompletely engulfed in flames, and him trapped in his closet. He finally opened his eyes and breathed somewhat quick. He was still on the plane, and the man was still lighting his cigar. That cigar is going to really annoy me.
With that, Rob took out an empty water bottle from his pocket. I really shouldn't be doing this, but I can't go through this flight uncomfortable. He pointed his finger inside the bottle and began to whisper some words. Luckily, the man got up to use the restrooms, leaving his cigar in the cup holder. How convenient. Rob quickly got out of his seat, leand over and grabbed the cigar. Sitting back down, he dropped the cigar in his bottle, pointed towards it, and concentrated. A few drops of water emerged from his finger, and then it turned into a thin trickle. The cigar began to float a little as the bottom of the bottle filled up. The cigar finally died down, and Rob sighed. There we go. He then pointed his finger back in the bottle, and the water level suddenly began to drop, as if evaporating. He then took the cigar and chucked it back into the cup holder of the man's seat. Right on time, because the man sat back down and looked at the cigar confused. Rob smiled and looked out the window.

30 minutes later Jamie had finished his coke. It stood empty on the small table beside him.
He had no idea how long the flight would be, and having nothing to read or kill time with, he felt bored. There was TV monitors in the plane, but they weren't showing anything. If not...
He turned to the girl that was sitting next to him,
"Excuse me bu..." Oh gee...
She was alseep, her seat felt backwards and her head resting on a small pillow. Her face was turned at his direction. Jamie blinked.
"What now..." he sighed...
Then noticed someone on his left, over at the other side of the cabin.
A boy, about his age, were sitting all by himself. He had nothing beside him except for a water bottle on his table.
Strange... Jamie thought. The plane wasn't crowdy but it was no lack of passengers either. He thought for a moment...
The he rose, carefully stepping over the girls legs, and walked over to the boy.
He just managed to catch a look on a fat man in the row infront of him. He was holding a cigar that wasn't lit. He stuidied it as if it were some kind of ancient artifact.
Jamie lifted his shoulders and turned to the boy again.
"Pardon me, may I take a seat?" he said.

Rob turned his head and noticed another boy, about his age, standing over him and offering to sit with him. I have no idea who he is, but hey if it's a chance to make a new friend I'm not going to pass it up. "Sure go ahead." Rob grabbed the water bottle and placed it beside him as the boy sat down next to him. "Some flight we have here. I feel like I've been living on this plane for the past thousand hours." Rob smiled, but at the same time he though: What the heck are you doing? Stop sounding too happy! Don't talk so much! Make a good first impression! "Sorry. It's just, I'm anxious to get off this plane." Then I won't have to hide my gift from complete strangers. I can experiment with is and figure out it's limits. Rob extended his hand. "I'm Rob Rinaldo. What's your name?" Try to sound as friendly as possible without being queer.

Jamie laughed at the boy's comment and sat down beside him. Finaly some fun!
"Haha! And so am I!" There's not much to do in this machine anyway!"
Rob. So that was his name. The weird thing was that Jamie had known it before he introduced himself. Could he have heard it from one of the flight attendants?
"Nice to meet you, Rob. My name's Jamie Knight." he said with a smile.
"So, why are we both stucked on this flight to nowhere?" he chuckled and made a small grimace to point out how boring the flight was.

Rob smiled. Maybe I didn't make a terrible impression after all. Jamie seems really nice. "You got me there. All I know is now I'm officially sick of planes." He laughed a little, but tried not to overlaugh. Why do I feel so comfortable around Jamie? He's a complete and total stranger, but for some reason I feel like I can trust him. "Can I ask you something Jamie?" Maybe I shouldn't. If he isn't, then I might give away my secret. "You wouldn't by chance happen to be going to some school for gifted students are you?" Great. Now it's in the open. He must think I'm a freak.

Jamie lifted his shoulders.
"...Gifted..." he chuckled.
Then he looked back at Rob.
"Yeah, I am. That means we're going the same way, are we? he said happily.

"You are going to that school as well?"
Masashige asked, walking over to the two guys and simply standing there, looking uncomfortable...

Jamie looked up.
He looked at a boy who he immediatly recognized as a Japanese. He had some peircings over his right eyebrow. He was older than himself, but he looked gentle, almost nervous.
This flight sure has a lot of different nationalities onboard... Jamie thought.
Yes, it would seem so!" Jamie said and looked at Rob and then at the new boy.
He invited the boy to sit down with them, and held out his hand.
"My name's Jamie, and this here is Rob. What's yours?"

"I'd better call him... he's taking quite long to tell me something..." Cal decided, taking hiscellphone out of his pocket and dialing the number.

"Kenneth, I'm needing to know what's taking the kids so long. Give me a call once you can. I'm waiting at a roadside bar." He said, turning off.

After what seemed like hours kenneth the debreifing was finally over. As kenneth walked out of the building he checked his cell phone for missed calls before dialing Cal's cellphone number.

Cal got inside the car and sighed. The air inside the cafÈ was starting to get unbreathable. The pure air from the outside did good.
Suddenly, his cellphone started to shake on his pocket.
After letting it alert him for a few seconds to confirm the intentions, Cal picked the phone up and accepted the call.
"Kenneth? How are things going with the kids? What's taking this long?" He inquired, turning the car on. "I might be heading to Stavanger Airport."

"They're doing fine they should be arriving at Stavanger Airport in 30 minutes kenneth said.

"Ok then, I'll meet you there." Cal answered, igniting the car. Quickly enough, Cal drived into the road and followed on. "Make sure the five are ok..." He finished, turning off.

Gunther had been listening in on the conversation since he had put a computer chip to listen in on kenneths phone calls when they last met. "So they should be arriving soon I should get a disguise,' he thought before seeing a matinance guy walk past him. "Oppertunity knocks,' he said to himself before walking up to the guy and since they were out of view of any security cameras he knocked the guy out with a hard blow to the back of the head.

Gunther walked into the airport in the guys uniform. Gunther looked at his watch "15 minutes until they arrive,' he thought to himself.

Ricktor had gotten tired of waiting, so in a rather defiant move, he decided to go for a walk, and after an hour and a half he found himself at the local airport. 'this can't be coincidence. Something feels...dangerous here. Sounds like my kind of day!' He thought to himself as he continued to walk idly through the airport.

The song stopped and Daniel was about starting to read again, but suddenly his cellphone ringed. Oh boy, not again. He took it out of his pocket. Mum stood there in black letters. He picked up.
Yes?....yes mum, I am really fine. .... No, there isn¥t any rain outside, don¥t worry.
.... Yes, I¥ll call you if I arrived.
He finished the call and sighed. He knew that phoning in the plane can be dangerous, but he didn¥t really care about that. And everything just because of this damn school for giftet people, he said to himself.
After that, he continued reading his book.

Daniel had barely got back to his chapter, when someone stood up beside him in the cabin.
"I'm sorry, but may I sit here...?"
It was a girl, approximately 15 years or older. She looked like a mixture of American and Chinese, and had shoulder lenght brown/blonde hair and green, gentle eyes that sparkled with life. She was very fit, and her body slim.
The girl wore blue jeans and a military green top. Under it she wore a grey t-shirt.
"May I..? she asked again and looked curiuosly at Daniel.

Daniel was surprised. It was long ago since a girl or even a boy asked him to sit next to him or anything else in that way. Who is that? I never met her before, but she wants to sit next to me. A bit shy and unsure Daniel offered her the seat next to him. I am Daniel, he said. Damn me. Why I never know what to say in those situations

"My name's Lizzie..." the girl said and sat down next to Daniel.
"Nice to meet you, Daniel..." Lizzie said.
There. You got what you wanted. Someone to talk with. What now?
Lizzie had never been good with talking to boys. Not girls either for that matter.
But she wanted to give herself a new chance, with this trip and all...
Lizzie looked at Daniel, smiling. He noticed the book in his knee.
"What are you reading?" she asked.

Nice to meet you too,..... it¥s called Stormfighters. It¥s about some guys whose are chasing the biggest storms of the world. It gives a nice view of the power storms can have.

"I see." Lizzie said.
Yeah, now you've done it! Some answer! C'mon, say something more!
Lizzie adjusted her seat, she kicked her shoes off and pulled her legs up to her chest. Then looked at Daniel again.
"So Daniel, to where are you going, with this plane I mean?" she asked.

Daniel closed his book and gave a sigh. To a school for giftet people, he said a bit annoyed. ... You? He managed to smile a bit. He didn¥t want to feel Lizzy uncomfortable.

Cal stopped the car near the airport's entrance. He had been going for around fifteen minutes, and he was lucky enough to not have gotten a full highway.
"Hmm... It shouldn't take much longer before they arrive..." He muttered, checking the watch again. "I should go see where's the gate..."
With that, Cal got out of the car and head inside the airport, searching for the closest stairs.

Lizzie rolled her eyes and sighed.
"Something on that track, yeah..."
"I've heard this school.. whatever the name was again... has beautiful surroundings though. It shall be nice to check out! She said, trying to bring the conversation back to the positive.
"Ever been in Norway before, Daniel? Where're you from?"

I¥m from California in Eldorado. I never have been there before, no. But I heard it must be a nice environment, yes. Where are you from? I feel kinda silly. That¥s more like a question-answer game. But as long as I get to talk to someone. Doesn¥t happen very often.

"I wish I could answer that." Lizzie said and lifted her shoulders.
"I don't know where I'm orginaly from, but I lived in Canada for 10 years...
I'm of of Swedish citizenship though, I live in Gothenburg."
"Oh, Norway is very nice! I've been there many times before! Not in the part where we're going, but close to it!" Lizzie said, somewhat amused.

Cal heavily sighed as he saw there were at least 15 gates in the airport, save the ones below. He thought of asking one of the employees, but it quickly turned away and kept doing its job.
"I've really got to find a way to know the gate..." He whispered, stepping back to view all of the gates.

Gunther walked up to Cal's car and placed a tracking device under the car before walking away and sending him a text message telling him to meet him at a bar in town at 7 o'clock that night.

"My name is Masashige. It is a pleasure to meet you, both of you."
Masashige said, a smile on his face as he sat down with the other two...

Gunther took the uniform of the guy he knock his uniform back to the guy who was still out cold and switched back to his flight gear and walked to the cafe of the airport.

Rob nodded. "Nice to meet you too. So I guess you're heading to the same place we are. That's cool we're all going to school together! We can be friends!" Rob tried as hard as he could not to sound corney, but at this point he didn't seem to care. "I wonder if the other kids on the plane are going to the same place we are. That would be very intersting to meet them."

Ricktor was sitting at a bar in one of the airport cafe's and he was on his fifth Root beer when he noticed out of the corner of his eye, someone walking into the cafe. Ricktor simply smiled and asked the man (Gunther): "Can I buy you a drink? It looks like you're going to be here a while.

"Yes a cup of green tea, Gunther said.

Masashige smiled.
"Friends? That sounds like it would be nice..."
He said, then looked over his shoulder to examine the others on the plane...

Ricktor smiled. "Well aright then. Bartender 1 Green tea please, and another Root Beer." He then looked over to Gunther and asked "So may I trouble you for a name?"

Daniel nodded. I was in Gothenbourg once. It¥s really nice. ... Though we are landing soon. Daniel said, after he put his book back into his bag.

After an intensive search on boarding files - which ended up on a cup of coffee - Cal eventually found out that the gate was actually gate 7, which wasn't very far from the coffee house.
Sighing away, Cal picked up the phone... and had a surprise.
"7 o'clock tonight..." He whispered, putting the phone away. "Hmm..."

"Sounds like a great idea!" Jamie smiled.
"Lets stick together then?"
He noticed a small light appearing above him. The sign for seat belts. The sign for landing.
"Okay, you two. I'm going back to my seat. Catch you when we have landed!"
With that, Jamie rose and walked over to his seat again, he could see the girl that had been sitting next to him, she was talking to one of the other boys.
Jamie sat down, he tightened his seat belt and leaned back, Outside the sun was shining as the plane began to descend.
Lizzie noticed the light to. "Lets meet later!" she said as she rose, and walked back to her seat. The boy was sitting on his place again.
"Hey." she said.
Jamie turned up.
"Hi." he said with a smile.
"Sorry, we haven't introduced ourselves. My name's...(Lizzie. Jamie thought at once.) Lizzie." said Lizzie when she hat tightened her own belt.
"I'm Jamie. Nice to meet you Lizzie. Did you sleep well?" Jamie asked with a smile.
Lizzie chuckled. "Yes, I did! Thanks for not waking me up!"
"You're welcome." Jamie said and lifted his shoulders.

"It's Gunther,' Gunther replied.

Ricktor smiled.
"Nice to officially meet you Gunther. My name is Ricktor."
The bartender then handed Gunter and Ricktor their drinks. Ricktor nodded his head at the bartender to show his thanks.

"It's nice to meet you as well Ricktor,' gunther said.

Sure thing, Daniel said and closed his seat-belt. Man, I hate landings.

Cal had his eyes fixed on a Boeing that was landing in one of the tracks. He easily identified it... the ones.
"I should get ready..." Cal wispered, walking along the glass wall.

One was repairing an escalator at the Stavanger Aiport and weldsparkles shoot behind the woman when she walked up the stairs to gates 4-10.
But Claire Audrey didn't see them. She was fully focused on the trail before her, and held very tight to her handbag. It was like the world around her didn't matter.
She passed by several Tax-Free shops, and walked with secure steps for gates 6 and 7.
Someone pushes her, and for a second something dark flashed in her eyes.
But she put herself together.
Her shoes were ugly and old-fashioned and she was moving clumsy in them. They seemed to be way to small.
Mrs. Audrey was a small woman. She was atleast 50 and a grey-toned hair.
Her skin was not worn and dry, but it was remarkable lifeless.
The eyes were hard and cold.
It was hard to imagine a smile on the grey lips...
She wore a grey skirt and a blouse that was tightened up by the neck, and she wore a silver necklace.
When she reached gate 7, she sat down on a waiting seat.
She picked up a magazine and started to read.
Now and then, she looked up at the big board that displayed arriving flights.

"Oh?" Cal mumbled. There weren't many people in the gate, waiting, and she was probably his only company for now.
So, he sat next to the woman and said a medium leveled "Hello".
"Are you waiting for someone here?"
What a stupid question... He thought.

Mrs. Audrey didn't look up at her new company.
She kept her eyes in the magazine.
"Good day." she said with a sigh. Short, and without no emotion at all.

Rather well-huoured, I see...
Cal sighed and got up. The plane had stopped at last, and it shouldn't take long for the passengers to come out.
At last...
"So, lady, you didn't quite answer when... huh?"
Cal trailed off as he turned around and so no lady. She was simply gone.
"Odd." He muttered, turning to the gate. "Jus a few more minutes..."

Jamie shook when the planes tires hit the ground, and felt the massive power from one of the worlds most powerful brake systems. They'd landed.
They slowed down, and the engines slowly died off.
He looked out of the window.
Stavanger Aiport was a modern, terminal building, with big glass windows and white walls. On top of the building were big letters, who togehter formed;
STAVANGER AIRPORT
The weather couldn't have been better, the su nwas shining and there were no clouds in the sky.
As they were transit from the landing strip, Jamie could see more airplanes, busses, and staff hurrying over the area, moving luggage while trying to avoid being overunned.
There plane seemed to be heading for gates 6 or 7.
The engines stopped completeley and they were allowed to unlock their seat-belts.
Jamie rose up, along with Lizzie.
Togheter, they opened the hatch above their seats and retrieved their hand bagage. In both Jamie nad Lizzie's case, it was rucksacks.
Jamie caught sight of Rob and Masashige between all the people in the plane, he made eye contact and tilted his head towards the closest exit.
Lizzie looked at Daniel, pointing towards the exit, the sign for; "This way."

Masashige stood up, opening the compartment overhead to grab his second bag. This one was the bag he had received from his family when he left Japan, and it bore his family's crest on the clasp and the back of the bag. Slinging the black bag over his shoulder, he reached back under his seat for his suitcase, picking it up with his right hand. He caught Jamie's eye contact, and started making his way towards the indicated exit...

Rob smiled and sighed. "Finally we can get off this crazy plane!" He grabbed his suitcase and bags and noticed Jamie and Masashige heading towards the exit. Rob shoved through the clump of people until he caugt up with Jamie. "Can I ask you something Jamie? Why did your parents send you to this gifted school? It must have been for a good reason."

Daniel rose up, took his bsuitcase and headed for the exit. He wasnt a really talkactive person , but he tried to catch up with Lizzie . At least I would have someone to talk to And all about that,Daniel thought she was kinda cute.

Jamie listened to Rob's question, and for a second, all of the joy his face had was completely blown away.
It was as if he had got a slap over his cheek.
He quickly shook it away, but it was hard. One could see it from miles away.
Something had made Jamie quiet.
"Rob... can we... talk about that later...?" Jamie mumbled, and then made a push at the person infront of him. Temporarly dissapearing.

There they are... Cal thought, adjusting the jacket and posicioning himself near the gate.

Rob saw how uncomfortable his question made Jamie the moment he asked it. Nice one dumbass. Hurry before it's too late! "I'm sorry Jamie. I shouldn't have asked you that. I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable. We don't have to talk about it." Now pray he forgives you. "I really am sorry." Rob tried as hard as he could to stay with Jamie, but the clumps of people on the plane proved to be a burden.

Just before Jamie was about to exit the cabin and walk down the stairs, he stopped and turned around to Rob. He put a hand on Rob's shoulder.
"Hey Rob, it's okay. Let's just get off this plane now, shall we?"
He smiled, then adjusted his rucksack and stepped out into the sunlight.

Back in the cabin Lizzie struggled to fight her way out of the plane. Eventually, she managed to get out, and she stepped out above a vast asphalt field. The smell of kerosene and gas made it's way up her nostrills, and a soft breeze hit her face, making her hair blow to the wind. She could hear roaring engines and jet motors shutting down.
She walked down the stairs, and saw Jamie. He didn't look happy, infact, he was angry. He had dropped his rucksack on the ground and was now standing and arguing with an airport personel. Two other boys, one Japanese and the other American, stood beside him, and looked more or less uncomfortable.
As Daniel stepped out beside her, she tilted her head at Jamie's direction.
"Looks like someone's blown a fuse..." she sighed.

"It's nice to meet you as well Ricktor,' gunther said.
Ricktor took another sip of his Root Beer and asked, "So Gunther who are you waiting for here the airport? Family, or friends?"

"Neither I just arrived here from Germany on 4 weeks holiday,' gunther said.

Ricktor smiled.
"I've always wanted to visit Germany. But still it must be nice to be on vacation. So, what's your occupation, what do you do for a living?"

"I used to be a Luftwaffe fighter pilot 2 years ago,' Gunther said. "It was a typical airshow but something unexpeted happened my computer system failed I lost control and crashed my right foot was severed in the crash so I resigned my comission and have been flying around from place to place ever since,' gunther said.

Ricktor sighed as he heard Gunther's story. He then set his mug down on the bar table and looked Gunther in the eyes as he said, "Machines you can never trust the darn things. That's my philosophy and I'm sticking to it. Now weapons...those you can certainly depend on without a doubt!"

Seems like... . Is he going to this school as well? Daniel asked Lizzie.

"He is." Lizzie said.
"His name is Jamie, he's from England."
"Well, we should stick togheter so lets see what the fuzz is about..."
Lizzie walked down the stairs and to Jamie and the others.
She could clearly hear Jamie's frusteration.
"....Why won't you let us trough!? I'm telling you we're supposed to head inside the terminal!" he said upset.
The man said something in his own language. He didn't speak English.
Jamie made a big, long sigh and held out his arms.
"Is there ANYONE here who understands what he's saying!?" he said and turned around, pointing at the man as if he was born yesterday.

Masashige shook his head.
"I am afraid not. I wish I could be of more assistance, but I cannot speak his language. Japanese, yes. This, no."
He sighed, irritation in his voice...

Rob smirked. "Maybe I can translate it." He listened to the man babble on and on, and then he laughed. "He says he's sorry for the delay and will escort us personally to the terminal. In fact, he will pay us for all the trouble he caused us." He smiled and held out his hand. "Yes I will take American money, and I want you to give double to my friend Jamie here because you were a real pain to him!"

"Hey, stop it! All three of you!"
It was Lizzie, she had stepped in to the scene.
Then she turned to the man, and said something in the same language as the man himself had spoken. The man immediatly appeared easier at mood.
They changed a few words, then Lizzie made a small bow, then turned around.
"Simply put, we're supposed to wait here. He knows who we are, don't ask me why, and someone will come and pick us up very soon." she said, blinked, and then returned to Daniel.
"We're supposed to wait here, for someone to pick us up..." she translated, for Daniel to hear.

Jamie knew that he had done wrong, he started to feel sorry about it.
He turned to the man, who looked at him as if he were a snake ready to bite.
Jamie made a nervous smile, and held out his hands;
"Me sorry, me wrong... Thank you..." he said and pointed on himself and then at the man.
The man seemed to have understood. He made a small gesture with his hand, the sign for, "it's alright" and started to doing his job, carrying bags out of the plane.

Daniel thought for a moment. I think this can¥t be right. Well, however, let¥s see.

Rob leaned over towards Jamie. "Looks like somebody blew a fuse," mentioning the girl who just spoke up, but then again he didn't want her to hear him and start yelling at him. "I wonder who she is. More importantly, how does this guy know who we are? I've never seen him in my life." Rob was confused with just about everything that had happened. Oh well. Maybe everything will be clearer when we're at the school.

"Yeah..." Jamie muttured.
"Her name's Lizzie... she's going to this place aswell..." he said.
"Atleast we got to know what he wanted to say! he sighed. Blocking my way like that..."
He made a puzzled face. Rob's question suddenly caught his mind.
"So do I Rob..." Jamie said and looked over Rob. But the man was not there anymore.

"They seem to be there... but why won't they come..." Cal mumbled, crossing his arms. "Maybe I should go down there..."
Cal firstly thought well on what he had mumbled.
A few instants later, he started walking towards an unlocked door nearby, and, opening it, he went down the stairs. It seemed to be a direct way to the landing tracks.
However, as soon as he got on the bottom, Cal crashed against a thick wall, apparently put on his way.
After a complain and a better look, it wasn't a wall, its an employee: a bodyguard one to boot. Cal looked up and saw a name in thick letters on a small iron plate:

As Cal looked up, the employee Pedro looked down at him.
The man was tall, and had a very muscular, brutal appearence. The only thing that didn't belong was his pot-belly.
He was in his early 30s his skin sunburned, and had black hair under a service cap.
The man wore the airports service clothes, a grey working suit with a reflex west over it.
Then it was the eyes...
They were chesnut brown, but full of evil. All sign of mercy was ripped away from them. The man didn't blink. He looked straight down at Cal, and he was not happy to see him.
"Who are you!? What are you doing here, this area is off limits!"
The man, Pedro, spoke English with Spanish accent. He was not native.
And he was inpatient.
"You heard me? You not speak English!?"
He said something fast in Norweigan, then held up one of his fists.
"Get out of here... Now!" he spitted and pointed at the stairs.

"Hum, Excuse me, but I've got to go see those kids and..." Cal tried, making a reflex movement when he saw the fist being held.
Oh, man... He thought, gulping in his mind.

"We are supposed to wait here? Well, I suppose it is as good a choice as any at this time..."
Masashige sighed, then shook his head.
"Were that I could have translated that. I could have saved us so much time and trouble. I shall remember to study that."
He added as a thought...

A cool, cultured voice spoke, and footsteps descended the stairs. Standing there was a young man, who couldn't have been more than 20, with raven-black hair and strikingly dark eyes, as well. He was wearing a black turtleneck with a matched-color blazer on top of it, as well as black slacks and dress shoes. He stepped undeterred in front of Pedro, then looked him in the eyes.
"My name is Shigenaga Oda, descended from the line of kings. In the name of my ancestors, you will allow us to pass!"
He said, his eyes flashing with a mysterious seal as he invoked his power of the Geass. With it, he could force anyone to bend to his will, save for those who possessed similar abilities...

Gunther saw what was going on from the cafe since it had a view of where cal was. "Execuse me for a moment there Is something I need to take care of,' gunther said to rick.

Ricktor still felt like there was this foreboding feeling in the air, and he simply swallowed the last of his drink and said, "Sure, I've got to go to the bathroom anyway." He then stood up knowing full well that the men's bathroom was within eyesight and earshot of the commotion going on where he was sure Gunther was heading.

Gunther cleared his throat before repeating to pedro "I said is there a problem here'.

"Yes, I have to meet the children in the tracks and this man doesn't allow me to do so." Cal answered with a stern expression.

Gunther looked at pedro and said "you will let him past'.

Cal looked at Gunther with a passive look.
"Just that...?" He mumbled. "Hur... thank you... I guess..." He said aloud, walking through.

A large hand grabbed Cal's right shoulder and dragged him backwards.
"I thought I made myself clear?" the large man Pedro grunted, looking down at him.

Cal gulped and turned around.
What have you been up to, Cal...?! He thought.

Meanwhile, out on the landing strip...
Jamie sighed and wiped the sweat out of his forehead.
He was sitting on a big coffert, his and the others lugage had arrived with a small service truck a few minutes back.
Now he was sitting on his, trying to outstand the heat.
He could see the asphalt glowing in the sun. He was sure it would melt any moment.
"What is taking them so long!?"
Lizzie had gotten up from siiting, and now walked around in a circle inpatiently.
She had counted their waiting to 25 minutes, but it was more than enough in this heat.
Sure, Lizzie was used to hostile enviroment, but she never had gotten over her eagerness...
Jamie leaned over to Rob.
"Know what? I'd do anything for the sea now!" he said and stretched his arms up in the air.
"This is unbelivable... How much longer do we have to wait!?"

Rob shrugged. "I don't know, but I sure hope it isn't for long. I really want to see what this school is like." Then he shuddered a little at the mention of the sea. I hope I don't do anything that would give away my secret. Then he wiped the sweat off of his forehead. Man I'm thirsty, but that's not a problem for me. I'll just do it so nobody can see me. Rob shuffled away from Jamie a little and pulled out the water bottle inside his pocket. He dipped his finger into the bottle and concentrated. A small trickle of water poured into the water slowly until it filled all the way. He then took a sip out of the bottle and sighed. Cold water, just the way I like it. He then shuffled back towards Jamie and offered the bottle. "Want a drink?"

"You're being very foolish pedro I told you to let him pass he only is going to meet some friends of his there,' gunther said before turning to cal and asking "I am right yes?'

Pedro starred at the two men standing infront of him.
He was very tempered to pull his gun out of his jacket.
A Silenced Beretta. Two soundless shots. The mens foreheads wouldn't do much resistance. His eyes moved eagerly to the feeling.
Pedro stood still for a while with his arms crossed.
Then he pulled up a black object from his belt.
....
An interphone.
Pedro said something fast in Norweigan, and placed the phone back in the belt.
Then he made a sneer.
"Last chance... LEAVE!" he said and pointed to the stairs.

Jamie shrugged.
He more or less snacthed the bottle from Rob and drank about half of it in one row.
When he was finished, he gave it back and took a deep breath.
"Yes...!" Thanks."
Jamie got up.
So did Lizzie.
Two cars, a large black van and a smaller SUV had entered the airfield and were heading thier way.
No other ocasions would've let two viechles of that kind drive inside the airport.
No doubt, they were here for them.
Jamie picked up his rucksack.
"Just on time!" he smiled inronicly.
Lizzie nodded at Daniel, grabbed her coffert and walked over to the other boys.

Daniel noticed her nodding and prepared his backage as well. But he didn¥t follow her. He remained where he was to wait for someone who puts him in a stupid car to drive him to this more stupid school.

Think Cal... React Cal... The guy can't be all that dangerous...
Cal gulped, trying to decide what to do. He hesitated towards the stairs, but couldn't help but move a foot towards the group.
"I-I..." He staggered, turning his look towards the group on the track. He opened his eyes widely and gulped.
This means trouble... He thought as the cars stopped on the field, now hesitating towards the cars.
"Do you realize what you have done...?" Cal mumbled without turning around.

"Yes. My job!" Pedro frizzled.
"If you not leave, I'll have to call the Police!" he said angerly and looked at both of them.
"This is your final warning!"

'Excuse but perhaps you don't know who I am,' Gunther said.

Pedro turned to the other man.
He laid his head on the side, looked at the mans feet and moved his vision upwards 'till he looked straight into the man's eyes.
"No! I don't. And I couldn't care less!" he sneered.
He threw a quick look at a digital clock, hanging on the wall behind them.
He made a satishfied smile.
His mission was over.
"Now, if you excuse me, I have more important buisness to attend to!" he said and walked in between the two men.
He stopped next to Cal. He lowered his head and whispered into Cal's ear. A voice filled with hate and disgust, but no sign of compassion.
"I hope we never meet again..."
Then he walked up the stairs. But stopped halfways.
"Oh, I forgot..."
He picked up a small key and plugged it into a small module on the wall. He turned the key, and an electronic sound broke the air.
The glassdoors to the airfield were locked.
Pedro was done. He finished his work.
"Adios, amigos..."
Then he dissapeared up the stairs.

Rob smiled. "Finally! We can get out of here!" He grabbed his luggage and walked up next to Jamie and the others. He took another sip out of his water bottle and observed the two cars. "Not bad rides, but mine back at PA is better." He laughed, but he realized it was a stupid thing to say. Nice one dumbass.

The ecipage of cars stopped 50 metres before the children.
The SUV remained still, but a man, the driver, stepped out of the van.
He walked around the car and opened the front passanger door.
Someone was sitting inside, and was now stepping out into the sun.
It was a woman, but a first sight, Jamie thought he was looking at a ghost.
When the reflection of the sun had passed away, Jamie made a quick observe of the woman that now approached them with given steps.
She was in her 50s, had grey hair and and wore grey clothes and to small shoes. She looked strict.
There wasn't more he could tell now out in the sun.
The woman stopped before the children.
"Welcome to Norway! Sorry for the delay, we had to take another route!"
She had a deep and raspy voice. A voice that belonged to someone that had smoked to many cigarettes.
"I am Miss. Audrey. I'm your host, teacher and disciplinarian at the school you're about to stay in. Please, take seat inside the van. Your lugage will be taken care of." she said with a rather "shop shop!" voice. She seemed to be in a hurry.

"What are you doing?!" Cal claimed, palming the glass. He wouldn't make anything from there. He knew it.
He kept gazing at the cars as they got farther from him, to near the group.
In a quick move, he took the phone out and dialed Kenneth's number.
"We've got problems." He whispered, far from the other man beside him.

Kenneth picked up his phone and asked "Yeah what is the problem.'

"They were supposed to come with me. Why are they being taken away by some unknown cars?" Cal answered.

"Change of plans Cal the boss decided it would be easier to take the kids directly to the school,' kenneth said.

"Well, that was rather quick." Cal muttered. "I'll be going to that school later, then. I've got other things to do."
Cal turned the phone off and looked at the note to meet at the bar.
"Let's see what you want." He mumbled, walking toward the exit.

Daniel didn¥t like the woman¥s acting. He didn¥t ask any questions, because he saw she was in a hurry. So he just sat inside the car, fasted his seat-belt and began listening to some music again. I am really curious what this school is for. And I hope I will get along with the others well, he thought as he drank something out of his waterbottle and tried to relax.

Jamie looked at the woman that was going to be his teacher at the new School.
He did not like what he saw.
But Lizzie and Daniel was already taking place inside the van, and Mrs. Audrey were standing and waiting for him and the others.
Jamie sighed and adjusted his rucksack.
"Well, shall we go?" he said and nodded towards the van.
He walked over to the car and past the woman when he felt a cold chill down his spine.
He didn't turn to her side, but he knew that she was watching him.
Jamie looked away and placed himself in the middle seat.
Daniel was listening to his music, but Lizzie were more active.
She twisted in her seat and adjusted her hair, leaned forward between the seats to Jamie.
"So here we go!" she said happily.
"Here we go..." Jamie answered in a sigh.
Lizzie sank back to her seat. She twisted her face in a weird grimace.
"Humdrum...!" she muttured. Sorry for being glad!
Lizzie hadn't given up yet though. She had decided long ago to make new friends.
Jamie was probably just tired, but he wouldn't get away that easy.

A man was standing inside one of the toilets of Stavanger Airport.
A pile of clothes were lying next to him, among them service clothes and a reflective vest.
He was still wearing a name brick.
CortÈz. Pedro
Pedro was now dressed up in a pair of blue jeans, a black T-shirt and a camouflage military west. Large breast muscles pressed the shirt outwards. His hair was watercombed backwards. Under the west, he wore a weapon belt. In it was a 9mm silenced Beretta. He felt the black, cold metal against his waist.
Pedro was done. He locked up the door and stepped outside.
He went to the mirror and washed his hands, when he noticed the name brick still were haning on him.
A name.... a false name.
The man was Pedro CortÈz. But in the same way he wasn't. This was another man.
The real Pedro wasn't around. He wasn't even on the airport.
Infact, the real Pedro CortÈz was lying on the bottom of the harbour, tied up and with an anchor chained to his legs. He had been lying there since 05:00 in the night.
It had been an easy but affective job.
Pedro CortÈz was a normal man with a normal job in a normal town. Perfect.
The new man, that had stepped out of Pedro's clothes, looked at the name brick in his hand. Then he threwed it in the bin and walked out of the toilets, lit a cigarette and set course out from the airport.
Pedro CortÈz was not neccesary anymore.
He wouldn't be missed until the next day...

Rob nodded. "Here goes nothing." He dragged his luggage to the van, but then caught another look at Miss Audrey. Something about her seemed odd, and she looked like she was smirking. Just who is she? Rob turned around and stepped into the van and sat down next to Jamie. He looked over at him and whispered, "Miss Audrey reminds me of Frankenstein's bride. There's something wrong about her." He then turned and looked at Lizzie. "I'm Rob. Your name is Lizze right?"

"What else is new...?" Jamie said thoughtfully.
The engine started. The car shook, and began to move.
They drove out of a big gate, and out on a smaller country road.
Jamie leaned back.
He sat between Rob and Masashige, in the row infront of him sat Mrs.Audrey and the driver, a man in his 30s. The woman was dealing with some documents. She seemed to have forgotten all about them.
Jamie felt a knot in his belly.
He reached down for his rucksack, and dug out a bag of sweets.
"Something I bought in Gothenburg... Anyone care to be my tester?" he chuckled and held out the bag.
"Sure thing!" said Lizzie and grabbed a handful.
"I know this candy, they're great!"
She then turned to Rob.
"Yeahw, thlats moi!" she said with her mouth full.
"Nice to meet you... Rob was it?" she said smiling at him.

Rob laughed a little. "Well you certainly indulged yourself in that candy pretty quickly. It's nice to meet you too." He reached into the bag and grabbed a couple sweets and tossed them in his mouth. "Wow, so this is what foreign candy tastes like? It's pretty good." He smiled and looked at the others. "Well I guess we are all going to be classmates. Just to let you all know, I'm terrible at math and history."

"Join the club!" Lizzie laughed. But what gives? It' soooooo boring!" she said and tossed herself back in her seat.
"Don't know what I'm good or bad at..." Jamie said. I've never seen my grades."
"How come?" Lizzie said with curiosity.
Jamie sat silent. How was he supposed to get away now.
He sure didn't want to tell his story in the car...
His vision wandered off.
The candy helped him.
He snatched the bag, grabbed more than he could take and pressed it groasly into his mouth.
"Becvasue ai eet all da tajm!!!" he laughed, with his mouth full of candy.
He realized he must look ridiculous, and acctually felled into real laughter.
Lizzie on the other hand was crying with laughter!
She was twisting in her seat like crazy, said something in her own language and pointed at him.
Not the most... discreteful talk-away Jamie... Good enough for now maybe... But remind yourself! They'll have to know. Sooner or later...

The moment Rob saw Jamie's face full of candy, he burst out into laughter. He almost choked on the candy he was currently eating, but eventually he swallowed it. "Wow Jamie, you certainly do have a way with words. As they drove along, Rob noticed a billboard for a camping store. Well that's completely random. Unfortunately mocking the sign wasn't going to turn out well for him. There was a picture of a family sitting around a campfire, and that's when it happened again. Rob entered another flashback, and it was exactly like the one on the plane.
The images of his home burning to the ground flashed through his mind again. Rob found himself trapped in his bedroom again, just like when it happend years ago. "Somebody please help!" he called out, but nobody responded or came. The fire continued to spread until it nearly engulfed him completely. He screamed one more time.
Rob finally came to, breathing somewhat heavily, and even kind of sweating. He was still in the van, and Jamie and the others were still right next to him. Damnit why is this happening to me? Ever since I found my power I've been having this stupid memory. Why won't it just go away?

Daniel shot up out of his relaxing position, as he noticed Lizzie laughing and moving very fast next to him. He didn¥t know what was going on and looked around in the car, til he saw Jamie. He began to laugh as well now, very hard. He wasn¥t very talkactive, but if there is something to laugh about he always did. And this was absolutely the right moment for it.

Jamie calmed himself down. Still chuckling.
He noticed Rob, who clearly didn't laugh anymore. Jamie stopped smiling as if he had got a slap on his cheek.
"Hey Rob... what's wrong..? he said and looked at him kindly.

Daniel, who still was laughing, calmed down now as well. He looked over to Rob, too and waited for an answer of him.

Rob finally came too when he heard Jamie's voice. He looked back and realized everybody was looking at him. He hesitated before saying anything. Why is it so hard? Just tell them! "I was just having a really bad memory. I don't like talking about it much, but I guess you guys deserve to know. When I was young, I was trapped in my bedroom because our house caught on fire. We still don't know how it started, but it spread really fast. I would have been dead, but the firemen managed to come in and save me. Now I hate fire, and for some reason I've been having this stupid flashback. I had it on the plane as well. I just don't understand why it's happening all of a sudden."

Jamie nodded.
He could see the pain in his friend's eyes...
Jamie didn't know what to say.
"I'm so sorry Rob... I... You don't have to talk more about it now if you don't want to..." he said, with respect for Rob, as the car were filled with other people. He didn't want to make it any worse...
Jamie hesitated. Take it later. Leave him be for now...
Lizzie sat in her seat quietly.
She couldn't find anything to say, and even if she did, she wasn't sure if it would make it any better. The feeling made her sad...
She sank down in her seat and moved, without intention in the first place, closer to Daniel. When she realized she was touching his arm, she got red.
"...ah... Sorry!" she said and quickly moved back to her place.
She bit on her nails for a moment, then turned her face and starred out of the window, on the landscapes flashing by.
The car, had gone silent.

Cal sat inside the car and sighed as he took out the map.
"Let's see... the bar should be by the road, but its quite a good distance." He mumbled.
Quickly, the car turned away from the airport, into the highway. The vans were far ahead already.

Rob sighed. "Thanks Jamie, but there's nothing you need to apologize for. You surely didn't cause the fire. It's taken a while for me, but I think I've gotten over it. Now ever since-" He stopped himself before he gave his secret away. "I guess now it's coming back to me for some reason." That was too close. Be more careful next time. Rob smiled. "Well we have better things to worry about now, like the fact that I am going to destroy all of you in gym class!" That's good. Try to break the dismal mood.

It¥s okay, Daniel said and smiled. At least it wasn¥t such a shock like before as you woke me up with your laughter, he said laughing a bit. But he suddenly stopped as he remembered what Rob just told them and sank in the seat again.

Gunther got onto his motorcycle whcih was parked outside the airport and raced off to the bar where he was going to meet Cal.

Cal double-checked the map and assumd it was the bar he could now see near the road.
He parked on the small ledge of the bar and got out, locking the car and entering the bar while keeping an eye on what was around him.
Something's not good here... He thought.

Jamie put himself together. He decided to leave Rob be for now.
He was curious about one thing though... How long they were going to drive?
He leaned forward.
The car had a GPS. It was a small module with a bright display standing on the instrumental board. Jamie looked closer.
It shown a route, their veichle and...
2 hours left!?
Jamie let out a big sigh, and threw himself back into the seat.
"What is it?"
Lizzie's face was up next to him again.
"We're stuck here for a while..." Jamie said.
"The GPS says 2 hours!"
Lizzie made a bored noise.
She sank back into her seat and pressed her face against the window.
Jamie looked out as well.
Looks like we're leaving town... he thought...
And was pressed backwards in his seat as the van accelerated and drove up on a bigger, faster, more traficated road.

Gunther arrived at the bar and parked his motorcycle before walking into the bar.

Two hours. Man, nooo. I thought it would be over after the flight He looked over to Lizzie, who is looking out of the window. "Bored, huh?

Cal went in and walked to the counter, sitting on a nearby chair.
The waitress bluntly came, staring at him with an annoyed face.
"That'd be a beer." cal quickly asked, trying not to give attention to the woman.
After a grunt, the woman walked away.

Rob overheard Jamie and sighed. "Great. So first we wait forever on a plane, and now we have to sit in here for two hours? Well at least that old hag isn't in the car with us. I swear our principal gives me the creep. She's like the Wicked Witch of the West or something." Rob made a disgusted, choking face as if she were gropping his neck and squeezing it tightly.

"Indeed..." Jamie said with a low tone.
"Wanna know something scary? When I was walking inside this car, she looked at me. And when I walked passed her, I can swear... that I felt cold."
It was strange. jamie had met many scary people in his life. But never had he felt the way he did when he walked past Mrs. Audrey. He hoped it was just a weird one time experience.
Jamie jumped. Rob's face dissapeared infront of him. Everything was suddenly pitch black. Then the light came back... only to dissapear and reapear again.
They had drove into a tunnel.

Rob looked up when they entered the cave and smiled. "I always love driving in the cave. It's so cool. My brother and I used to do this game where we held our breath and tried to hold it through the whole distance of the cave. Of course, neither of us won, but it was fun anyway." He looked back at the other van and smiled. "What if somehow Mrs. Audrey got lost in this tunnel?"

Mrs. Audrey got lost in this tunnel...
Mrs. Audrey was holding a mirror. It had a wodden frame and the shape of an eye.
She balanced it and starred into it, and she was hardly breathing.
She saw Jamie and his friends clearly. She turned the mirror and saw Lizze and Daniel. She was in the car with them, driving trough the tunnel.
The elderly woman's eyes darkened at the comment, only to transform into an evil grin. Afterall, all would be paid back in time. She'd get her revenge...

Jamie chuckled at the comment. He saw a light infront of the car, and stretched himself up.
It came closer, and grew intensly in every metre.
Jamie squeezed his eyes, now the light was very intense.
Then, with a burst, the light went away and Jamie opened his eyes...
And starred with amazement! He had never seen anything like it!
"WOOOW....!"
They were driving on a road on the edge of a cliff.
Below them, were the coast and the sea, blue and shining in the sunlight. Over the bay was high mountains with snow covered tops, and there was not a cloud in the sky. The nature was dancing in bright colors, and a small breeze sent waves into the shores. Jamie could see a small boat making it's way down below, making its way out of trhe bay and out to the open North sea and the horizon.
"Awesome..." he whispered and pressed his face closer to the window.

Cal looked around while the drink didn't come.
Nobody seemed to mind him, at least not anyone he could clearly see.
However, there was a man inside the bar that left him some doubts.
The arrival of the beer, though, distracted him.

Daniel was indeed amazed by the view of the outside. He leant himself over Lizzies shoulder and tried to get a better look out of the window. In all my adventures I had, I never saw something beautiful like this before.

Rob looked out the window and gazed at the wonderful scenery. "Oh my god. It's amazing!" Rob then looked down at the cliff and whistled. That's a long way down. Then he felt a wierd feeling. Rob couldn't explain it, but something seemed wrong. "Hey guys, two questions. One, does it seem like we are being watched by somebody? Two, does it seem like we are getting too close to the cliff's edge?"

Definetly!
"Uhmm... Lizzie? Is it right or left traffic in Norway...?" Jamie asked nervously.
Lizzie was sitting up high in her seat, as if she was trying to make as much space between the cliffedge and herself.
"Right. Definetly right!" she gulped.
Jamie looked over the window. They were driving way over on the left side of the road. On top of it, they were picking up speed. And fast. What was the driver up to? Jamie leant forward,
"Excuse me! Would you please slow down?!" he said and tapped the driver on the shoulder. Then a burst of acceleration roared trough the air and Jamie was pushed back in his seat. Now he was scared. Really scared.
"Lizzie, tell him to slow down!"
"SAKTE NER!!" Lizze screamed, and took a hard grip of Daniel's arm. Her eyes were filled with panic.
Jamie tightened his belt, and looked at Rob. Then he looked at the driver again.
...He wasn't holding the wheel!
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? WE'RE GOING TO CRASH! GRAB THE WHEEL! GRAB THE..."
The blade casted a white reflection into Jamie's face. He lost his sentence.
The driver hold a knife, aproximetly 2 decimetre in lenght, before him.
He grabbed it with two hands, and slowly began to turn around.
His face was in terror. He was crying. Jamie looked at the man in silence, it was as if the world outside the carf had stopped.
The man hold up the knife over his head, he aimed at Jamie and Rob.
"...No..." Jamie started.
Then, with a sound of an explosion, the world came back.
The driver cut the knife trough the air with full force...
In himself.
Jamie saw the man's jacket break, before the sound of metal slicing up flesh and the man's low grunt.
It was silent for a moment.
Then Jamie heard a splatter, and felt something wet stain up in his face.
The driver's eyes rolled back, and he tumbled back into the front seat and dissapeared.
Jamie touched his forehead with his fingers... blood.
All was quiet. No one said nothing, Jamie starred at his fingers, and looked down on his knees and on Rob's. Both boys were stained with blood.
They were sitting in car without driver. On the edge of a 1000 metre cliff.

Rob regained himself and gasped at the blood staining his and Jamie's clothes. What the hell just happened? Why did the driver try to kill us? Rob looked up at the others. They were all fine, just very shaken. He then noticed something else. It was getting very warm in the car. Suddenly the front of the car started on fire. Rob started to panic inside. No. This can't be happening! Not again! The fire continued to spread, and the car wasn't stopping! "We have to get out of here and fast before we go off a cliff, but we're going too fast to try and jump out! Any ideas?"

It became to much for Jamie. His face was stained with blood, the car was on fire and Lizzie was screaming.
He started to feel sick, and did his best to remain calm.
He saw Rob's mouth moving, but could hardly hear anything.
Slowly, he turned his eyes to the front of the car.
It took him a second to understand what was going to happen, but when he did, his pupils went large and he tightened his belt with all his strength and took a grip on the seat.
"Hold on..."

"Why?" Rob asked. Then he turned and looked through the flames and got his answer. "Oh s***," he cursed. This can't be good. Rob grabbed his belt as tight as he could.

Dammit, this had to come, Daniel thought as he pushed Lizzie¥s head farther down in direction to the ground and tried to hold his arms over her to protect her, in case an accident will happen. This will go well, this will go well. Jamie man, be careful!

Jamie saw death coming closer like a storm.
100 metres in front of them, the road made a rough turn to the right. On the edge was a steel-fence. They were going at about 130.
Somehow Jamie knew that it wouldn't hold.
50 meters.
Jamie garbbed his seatbelt hard and closed his eyes. His heartbeat were sky high. Nervousity and panic squished his body like a giant claw.
30...20...10... So this was it...
Jamie took a deep breath.
BANG!
The car rushed trough the fence as if it had been made of cheese. The veichle shook for a bit. Then silence, and nothing...
Then the Earth's mutual attraction grabbed the car with an iron grip!
The G-forces increased rapidly like some devilish theme-park ride.
Jamie's belly twisted, and now he opened his eyes and screamed straight out!
Lizzie screamed too, a high tone filled with panic and death anguish.
The car fell helplessly trough the sky towards the cliffs below.

Daniel sweated and crazy thoughts were running through his minds. He squeezed his eyes and waited for the rough cliffs below, which should smash the car into thousends of pieces. But there was no crash... . Suddenly everything around Daniel disappeared and he saw the car from the outside with the screaming, crying, praying people in it. Like in a dream and like it would be a little toy car of him, he knelt down under the car and blow something like a little air pillow under it, so that it glides down slowly next to the cliffs. In one moment he was back in the car, still in the protecting position he was before. Some of the others were still screaming. He needed a few seconds to notice that they aren¥t falling any more.

Having trouble escaping the flow of panic in his body, Jamie finaly opened his eyes.
It was quiet, or atleast he thought it was.
He wasn't sure that the others were as silent as himself, due to the very fact that they weren't dead already. Or where they? He couldn't tell. All that he felt was his own silence.
They were still in the car, he could tell that much. He had been fully prepared that they were going to die the moment the veichle hit the cliffs below. No such thing had yet happened.
So what had happened?
Jamie strecthed carefully and looked out of the window.
They weren't standing on anything, and he knew that they were definitly hovering, as the car weren't standing still. It was swaying calmy from side to side, like a leaf moving in the wind, but at a fixed place.
He didn't bother questioning why. His brain couldn't take it at a moment like this.
10 meters. Something told him that it would be the distance to the surface below.
It came to his senses that it would be enough to kill them off, and just as he had confirmed that, he was struck by a another, more uncomfortable feeling; how long were the car going to remain hovering? Almost as an instant answer, the car started to shook nervously in the air.

Wowowoooh, Daniel shouted out as he got his minds back together. He didn¥t know where they are, or what is going on. But he knew that they are still in dangour. From looking out of the window he could tell that they were still in the air. Jamie, watch out. Do anything but don¥t make fast movements. Same for the others. He looked for Lizzie who still was bowed to the ground. He took his arms off from her to give her room. You are alright? He asked her. During all this time he noticed that something isn¥t right. It seems like something heavy is squeezing his body. He couldn¥t take this feeling much longer.

"I... I'm alright!" Lizzie said with her hands shaking.
Her hair was a mess and she was crying, but without sobbing. She looked wild.
The car shook once again, but now more violently.
Lizzie's pupils grew large in a second.
"What was that!?" she said and looked around, all her senses on top gear.

I...I don¥t know, Daniel said sweating like hell. The next moment everything around him went dark. And with the darkness came the fall...

Jamie quickly reached for something to hold onto, but it was no use.
The car was falling the last ten meters within no more than a second, the law of nature was back, determined to finish what it had started.
Jamie didn't even got the chance to scream.
And so came the first impact.
The car slammed with four wheels onto a rocky ledge, but Jamie's body didn't read the pain before the second hit came.
The first impact had sent the car airborne, and it spun helpless trough the air like a toy thrown by an angry child.
Then it crahsed a second and final time, up and down, onto the rocks below. The windows broke and glass flew into the cabin.
The force threw Jamie around like a puppet doll.
With great violence, he was thrown out of his seatbelt and crashed headfirst into the car's metal frame, and all light went out with a flash. The veichle, now only a pile of burning, twisted metal, made a final few tumbles down the hill before stopping, lying on the roof, burning silently.
Jamie didn't notice any of this though.
He was uncoincious long before the car stopped.

Mrs. Audrey stood next to the cliff's edge. She saw the burning wreckage far down there. Her face didn't show any emotions. She stood there looking for a while before returning to her own car. She sat down in the backseat, and the car rolled away from the scene, as if it had never happened.

4 days later...
Jamie opened his eyes. His first thought was that he was glad to be alive, which he could tell that he was. He looked up above himself, and saw a white/yellow roof, with a big lamp on it, casting a bright light in the room of where he was in.
He turned his hed slowly to the left. His neck was aching, and he grunted.
Now he saw more of the room.
There were white beds, trolleys and small chairs. The room was white.
He focused on what was under him. He was also lying in a bed, with a white blanket over him. Next to him was a drip stand, of which a vein went from a small bag filled with liquid, went into a cannula in his left arm.
He forced himself to look to the right, and saw Lizzie, sitting on a chair next to his bed, reading a book.
"Hi..." Jamie said. He didn't have that much trouble speaking.
It took a second for Lizzie to react that she was spoken to, but when she did, she more or less threw the book away from her and felt to her knees next to Jamie's bed.
"Jamie! Thank god you're alive! I'm so glad!" she cried, small tears beginning to pour from her eyes. She hold his right hand tightly.
"I thought you'd never wake up!"
Jamie smiled, he was feeling very well to see her.
"Where... am I?" he said and let his eyes wander trough the room.
Lizzie wiped away her tears and sat back onto the chair.
"This might be abit too much for you to take now Jamie..." she started.
"You're at the school, in the hospital building. I'll show you around later, but I can tell you Jamie, this place is amazing!" she said, shining.
Jamie belived her, but he wanted more. He had to ask.
"What happened...?" he said and starred up in the roof.
Lizzie sat silent for a bit...
"... After the crash... alot of things happened. I woke up in the car, and found out that it was on fire. Daniel and Robert were councious by that time, but you had passed out..." She made a pause and pointed on her forehead.
"You're gonna have a scar there for a while..." she said.
"The car was a wreck, and on fire. I have no clue how it happened, but somehow the fire was enguished. I have no idea how it happened.
We managed to get you out anyway, and we waited by the shore, down by sea.
It didn't take long before they found us, a helicopter. They took us here."
"Where's Daniel and Rob...?" Jamie asked her.
"They're fine. They're both at another room not far from here. We got seperated once we got here. I haven't seen them so much..."
"And Masashige?"
"The Japanese boy? Well... he WAS with us when we got picked up... But I have no idea where he is now..."
Jamie sighed and sank into the bed.
"I'm hungry..." he complained.
"You should be! You've been out for 4 days!"
Jamie looked stumped.
"4 days!?"
"Please Jamie, you must not rush to get up. You'll have to lie in bed for a little while longer..."
Lizzie got up.
"I'll get you something to eat, I'll tell you more later! Ok?"
She walked away, but stopped at the door.
"We're all lucky to be alive Jamie... You just take it easy now..."
She dissapeared. Jamie leaned back into his bed. He wanted to see Daniel and Rob, but he understood it was out of question now, unless they were on their feet and coming to him...
He sighed. There was a remote controll on his right. He found out that it was used with a big plasma TV on the wall.
Great... he thought, and picked a chanel.

Masashige poked his head in the door.
"Did I just hear my name mentioned? I am still alive, no worries. Would you two like me to go get you something to eat?"
He asked, smiling faintly...
