The Fridge / Dink, the Little Dinosaur
« on: December 09, 2007, 01:24:33 AM »
Hello:
When I first saw TLBT's cover at first I thought it was a Dink's movie :D . Then some time after that I saw a part of it and I couldn't take it out of my head because I had to leave (the scene when that Pteranodon gives that cherrie to Littlefoot). Whn I could finally see it I really enjoyed the movie, and it is still one of my big favourites.
I still remember Dink and I have recorded some of the episodes, and I hope someone could post DInk's chapters somewhere, and I don't have any problem to watch it in english B) .

Hello:
That makes sense, because I think I am just spamming this thread with a subject not really about this RPG, it may be about it but it would be better to leave this topic for the RPG itself.
So I may create a new topic..... if I'm ever going to be able to RPG in english

The Fridge / Dink, the Little Dinosaur
« on: December 09, 2007, 01:11:35 AM »
Hello:
I think that with me it was all the opposite way than most of you, I began watching Dink, the Little Dinosaur and some years later I got to see TLBT. Dink was a great show, not the best animation but much better than most of the actual cartoons, they teached morals and was very fun to see.
Now that I got to see a chapter of TLBT serie about the river goes dry, it was just like a Dink's episode, but Dink solved it in half the time :p (10 minutes).
I'd really to see Dink again.

The Fridge / LBT Font
« on: December 09, 2007, 01:05:24 AM »
Hello:
To make a report using a font like the LBT titles, well that shouldn't be a problem if you tell nobody it is from a movie, and if you don't overuse it too, so I don't think that's a great problem unless you are told to use a specific font.
If you can tell me where to get that font, I may try and risk myself using it in university reports :p .

Hello:
You may need to give me some time, first I need to pass my final exams and then I will have more time to do the things I must do, to see if I revive my old Dink fanfic, to make the Species8472 ships I told I would make for the game Star Trek: Armada2 and a lot more of things here in my house :bang .
But I do like Flyers and Raptors.

1988 Theatrical Release / Favorite Quote from LBT

Pie PequeÒo: Alguna vez has visto el Gran Valle?
Mam·: No
Pie PequeÒo: Bueno, øy cÛmo sabes que esta ahi?
Mam·: Hay cosas que se ven con los ojos, y otras que se ven con el corazÛn.

Hello:
That's my favourite quote, well you didn't specify language :lol . But it is the same quote from the first movie posted by lbt/cty_lover, just a bit more complete.

Hello:
Well, in fact it was the Star Trek movies :nyah , but TLBT has a great deal of credits too :DD .
About the things I may share, it may be just info and thoughts, and info you may be already know since you have been sharing enough time already that can outmatch me anyday.
With some luck tomorrow I'll be able to finally see TLBT12 :yes .

Hello:
If the admins cannot reply you in time I have a little suggestion, since there are members with profile pics, you may download a pic to see it's size and make your pic of similar size, that should be enough.
 I hope this can help.

Hello:
Elves? I always knew they were ancient dudes, but never that ancient ;) , maybe there may be like an elven-like dinosaur species, something rare to find, like Avians of my original story (too long to tell you about right now :p ). And why it is Ducky open for use shortly?.

Hello:
Well, the Great Valley Guardian was only inviting me to join, and if I do join I would always say that I want to join, afterall that's the correct way to do things ;) .
Before I attempt to join I have too many things to read first, and since I have never RPG-ed before in english nor in the internet I may really need some guide before I begin tearing the story apart :lol .
I may need to create a fan character for the LBT because my only characters are from a fan story for Dink the Little Dinosaur something like 10 years ago  .

Hello:
I've been reading this and I think it is turning out well, I hope it will be better once the story itself begin to progress more. Many interesting stories are about things that are not what they seem, afterall this world (now or 150 million years ago) was, is and never will be just black or white.
I like the direction this story is taking, keep it up!

Hello:
One thing that makes me a bit of famous in another pages like armada2files is that I always begin a post with "Hello:" :lol , of course I wouldn't do that in a RPG to avoid confussions for example.
It is amazing that I could find people in here not only that speaks other languages but also that they like astronomy and, well, I must confess I hesitate a lot to join this page, but I am finally here to try to share about a movie that changed things in my life. B)

« on: December 08, 2007, 03:44:24 AM »
Hello:
I always find this movie both great and sad, but it also have some very fun parts, like when they first encounter Petrie. But this movie is capable of get some tears from anybody.
This movie is one of the very few that really have a 10/10 from me.

1988 Theatrical Release / Best Score?
« on: December 08, 2007, 03:39:14 AM »
Hello:
This soundtrack is great, when I learned that was made by James Horner I knew it was going to be great since I know his work from Star Trek 2 and 3, great pieces of work.
About this OST, it was hard to decide, but my vote went to "Whispering Winds", it has tons of emotion and it brings some memories back :yes . But the entire OST is great ,aanother good one is the Great Migration, that would have my vote too.
