Post by: Petrie. on July 17, 2010, 12:45:26 PM: Iris (Mumbling) joins the GOF staff today as a global moderator. :celebrate :celebrate :cheers :cheers She has great qualities as a person, one who will enhance our community as part of our staff and is a very reliable and competent individual.

We haven't had a global moderator in four years here, so here is what a global moderator does:

- moderates all forums and sections on the GOF
- can warn members if they get out of line
- open/close, pin topics in all forums and sections on the GOF
- voting powers within the Rock Circle

The funny thing is, I'm pretty sure I used to think that you were already involved in GOF staff work. :! I agree; you're a terrific choice for a moderator. :yes
