Super Smash Brothers and LBT

I found this in the insane cross over concepts thread and I decided to run with it... I'm going to try and work the gang and other characters in Super Smash Brothers as assist trophies or playable characters.

My 1st project: Ozzie

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ozzie

Attack: 2/5
Weight: 3/5
Reach: 1/5
Gravity: 2/5
Speed: 4/5
Jump: 4/5
Traction: 1/5

Game: Land Before Time

Symbol: Comet

Taunt 1: Glares at the camera

Taunt 2: Pulls out an egg and licks his lips

Taunt 3: Says “Yes!”

Victory Pose 1: He slashes twice then glares at the camera

Victory Pose 2: He takes a few swings with his tree branch and then he leans on it

Victory Pose 3: He throws a fragment of the Stone of Cold Fire at the ground and it cloaks him in a ring of blue flame.

Entrance: He rides in on his flyer and he jumps off. The flyer then flies off the stage.

Defeat Pose: He leans on the tree branch as though he is tired.

Item Swing (weak): he does quick horizontal swipe

Item Swing (medium): he does a thrust with the item

Item Swing (smash): he does a powerful baseball bat style swing

Item Swing (dash): he does a backhand swipe as he dashes

Item Swing (Homerun Bat): He leaps forward and swings the bat in a vertical chopping motion at the same time.

Standard A attacks

A: Claw slash; he slashes with his left claw (3%)

A,A: Double claw slash; he slashes with his left claw then switches to his right claw (2%-4%)

Side A: Claw jab; he jabs his claw at his opponent (6%-11%)

Down A: Tail sweep; he sweeps his tail directly in front of himself (4%-8%)

Up A: Claw uppercut; he uppercuts with a claw (7%-10%)

Dash A: Running claw slash; he does a slash while running (6%-8%)

Standard A air attacks

A:  claw spin; he spins around with his claws extended (6%-9%)

Up A: claw swipe; he swipes above himself with a claw (6%-10%)

Down A: stomp; he simply stomps downward (9%-12%)

Forward A: stick swipe; he pulls out a stick and chops downward with it (11%-14%-meteor smash)

Back A: tail whip; he tail whips behind himself (5%-11%)

Smash Attacks:

Side: tree branch; he winds up and smashes the opponent with a large tree branch (10%-21%)

Up: cross slash; he crosses his arms over his head forming an “X” shape and he quickly snaps them to his side (12%-23%)

Down: twin tail whip; he swipes his tail behind him then spins around and swipes in front of him (9%-19%)

Throws

Grab: he grabs the enemy by the neck with two hands

Grab and attack: choke; he squeezes his enemy’s neck (1%-3%)

Up: claw swipe; he tosses the enemy up and as they fall, he slashes them with a claw (5%-9%)

Down: multi-slash; he tosses the enemy to the ground, places one foot on them and claws them repeatedly (8%-12%)

Back: back kick; he tosses the enemy behind him, turns around and kicks them away (4%-9%)

Forward: claw toss; he tosses the enemy in front of him and slashes them twice with his claws, the final slash sending his enemy flying (6%-10%)

Ledge attacks

Under 100%: twin claw swipe; he will leap up and do two fast claw swipes in succession. (4%-10%)

Over 100%:  kick, he will climb up and deliver a swift kick in front of him (5%-9%)

On Ground Attack

Claw cyclone; he gets up and twirls around with his claws extended (3%-5%)

Final Smash:

Flyer Air Raid: His flyer swoops in and Ozzie is seen talking to him. Then Ozzie climbs aboard his flyer and they fly off the top of the screen and a squadron of flyers will fly over the stage and bombard everyone present with large rocks. After the attack is done, the flyer will fly back onto the stage and Ozzie will leap off him. The flyer will then fly off. These rocks cannot be picked up and thrown and the flyers are totally immune to attacks.  (Lasts 13 seconds, 19% - hit by rock, 9% - hit by flyers)

“B” Attacks

B: Blowgun; he takes out a hollow reed and shoots a projectile at his opponent. Can be charged to inflict more damage and go farther (cannot be stored). The projectile is random. 45% chance - sharp stick (7%-12%), 30% chance - rock (10%-16%), 12% chance - sleep dart (3%-9%, opponent immediately falls asleep), 13% chance - poison dart (7%-12%), opponent is poisoned <takes 1 damage per second for 10 seconds, causing flinching every time damage is taken from the poison>

Side B: Charge; he charges the opponent. If they are immediately in front of him he will grab them instead. If they are grabbed: press B to have him slash the opponent with his free hand, tilt the control stick forward to have him push the enemy forward, tilt the control stick backwards to have him trip, then stomp the enemy. (9%-13% for ram attack, 1%-2% per slash, 10%-15% for stomp, 5%-9% for push.)

Up B: Flyer, A flyer (looks suspiciously like Rinkus only grey) comes in and flies under Ozzie and lifts him into the air (mostly straight up, but can be somewhat controlled by the control stick). After the lift, the flyer flies off the top of the screen .The flyer can be attacked and after each attack Ozzie will fall off the flyer. It can be reused if Ozzie is knocked off the flyer. (2%-9%- hit by flyer)

Down B: Rock, he picks up a rock from the ground. It works like an item. It can be thrown or held. If it is thrown, the opponent can catch the rock and throw it back. Unless it is stated that the rock cannot be reused, the rock can be picked up and thrown again. Rock is random: 40% chance - regular rock (4%-9%), 30% chance - spike crystal (13%-15%), 15% chance - shining stone (13%-15% - electric attack, area of effect, cannot be reused) 10% chance - lava rock (16%-21% - fire attack, will cause damage to holder if held for greater than 3 seconds <1% per 1 second>) 5% chance – Stone of Cold Fire shard (20%-32% – fire attack, cannot be reused, 35% of being defective <has exact same stats as regular rock>, 15% chance of total failure <explode immediately upon holding, 13%, stun>
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Explainations:

Stick, tree branch and blowgun (Air forward A, forward smash, B attack) - (A Traiter in Our Midst-LBT fan fic) Ozzie attacks Strut with a tree branch. And Ozzie and an OC (his other brother Theo) plan to assault the gang with blowguns.

Rock (Down B) - (Twilight Valley) has Ozzie use rocks as weapons against his enemes, several times. The exploding and defective Stone of Cold Fire shard produced from Ozzie's Down B are a reference to LBT 7.

Flyer (Up B) /Flyer Air Raid (Final Smash) - (Twilight Valley) has Ozzie flying on Rinkus and using him as a aircraft (mostly for bombing).

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As I finish more of the moveset of Ozzie, I'll place it on this post and I'll place movsesets for each character on seperate posts and they will be periodically updated as they are developed.

It could be done if there are any fighting games that allow mods or where mods are possible.

You can use MUGEN or some similar programm to create your own fighting game... But it's gonna be a hard work. :)

Assist trophy: Mr. Clubtail

He appears, walks towards the nearest opponent and hits them with his tail club. If he doesn't encounter an opponent right away he will stand there and after a few moments will swing his tail club regardless if any opponents are in the way. After he swings his tail club, he disappears.

If the target has over 45% damage, they are guaranteed to fly off the stage (unless they hit something). (40% - hit by tail club, 10% - hitting him any other way <eg. landing on him, bumping into him, etc.>)

He is immune to all attacks and cannot injure his summoner. He is easy to avoid just avoid him until he disappears or outrun him.

A lot of thought has been put into this, but honestly......LBT characters beating each other up?  Not something I'd ever go for. -_-

Yeah, I am quite a fan of Smash Brothers

On a side note: new addition!

Sierra and Rinkus (Assist Trophy)

They will appear, grab the nearest enemy and fly up and then slam them into the ground right on the exact same spot the enemy was picked up. The foe will end up embedded in the ground (like the pitfall item) and you may freely attack them until they pop out.

They are immune to all attacks and will not injure their summoner.

No matter how much damage the opponent has, Sierra and Rinkus cannot kill them (no knockback). The only way that they can kill an opponent is if the opponent is over a pit and they happen to be the nearest to Sierra and Rinkus when they are summoned. This then results in them plummeting towards the blast line with their opponent in tow and a guaranteed death for your opponent. It is very hard to actually achieve this as assist trophies cannot be thrown or carried.

25% damage from final slam attack, 10% damage from contact (when plummeting down), 5% damage from initial lunge and grab.

Explaination: In Twilight Valley Sierra and Rinkus will sometimes kill their opponents by picking them up and dropping them from a great height (non-flyers) or by grabbing them and forcing them into objects or the ground (flyers).

New additions:

Assist Trophy: Dina and Dinah

They will appear at opposite ends of a platform and playfully charge each other. contact with them results in injury. Getting hit simultaneously by both of them is lethal at damages over 100%. Once they meet each other in the middle of the platform they will stand there for a moment (totally harmless) and disappear.

10% if hit by one

20% if hit by both

5% by contact (landing on them, contact from back)

To avoid simply jump behind them when they start to charge.

They cannot injure their summoner and are immune to all attacks.

Item: Night Flower

This heals all damage but can be destroyed with any attack and disappears very quickly and is rare.

Assist Trophy: Ducky

She will appear and throw 5 sticks at nearby opponents, followed by a large rock. She is stationary. These projectiles cannot be caught and thrown back at her but they can be reflected. She will not turn around at all. The projectiles follow a horizontal path.

Another varient is she will follow the nearest opponent for about 3 seconds and club them with a tree branch. She will not lock on to a new opponent after she has chosen one to attack. If the opponent is out of range, she will still swing her tree branch. It is possible for her to nail another opponent with her tree branch after she's locked on to one. She can freely turn around.

She cannot injure her summoner and can be attacked (after sustaining 50% of damage she will immediately disappear. She cannot be grabbed. This is for all varients).

Projectile Ducky: 5% damage per stick, 19% for large rock. The sticks do minimal knockback while the rock can be lethal.

Melee Ducky: 23% from tree branch swing. This attack can be lethal at percentages as low as 90%.

It is random which form Ducky will take.

Note: Ducky looks more like her mother.

To avoid:

Projectile Ducky: Dodge all the projectiles. Alternatively, you can try and reflect the projectiles back at her or hit her with a projectile of your own. Or you can somehow get behind her or above her and attack her.

Melee Ducky: Outrun her, she's not very fast. Don't try to attack her because if you approach her from the back or front she can still strike with her branch. Projectiles are your best bet, although she may try and leap over them. If you must use melee attacks, attack her from the air.

Explanation: Most of this is from Twilight Valley. There her mother fights with a tree branch (melee Ducky) and Ducky later uses throwing sticks to great effect (Projectile Ducky). Although the rock throwing was inspired by LBT 4. As for why I made Ducky like this, I couldn't think of a way to involve her nonviolently in Twilight Valley other than the damsel in distress.

You know, there would also be new items to adjust the new characters, right Serris?

@landbeforetimelover: And the fact of having characters fight between each other is just a simple concept. You wouldn't have Mario and Peach fighting each other in the Mario series, right?

Super Smash Bros. Trilogy/LBT crossover, eh? Well, I have some suggestions for playable LBT characters.

Petrie- Lightest character, but has most jumping power because of his flying like Kirby. Fast aerial attacks and staying out of range between attacks are his specialty. Lowest power and fast speed.

Ducky- Second lightest and jumping skills. Dodging blows and hit and run attacks are her specialty like Jigglypuff. Second lowest power and fast speed.

Spike- (He is smaller than Littlefoot and seems heavier than Cera) Second heaviest character. Lowest jumping skills. Powerful moves that can, but had better be for your sake, evaded. He is like Bowser and Ganondorf is his fighting style. Slow speed.

Chomper- Third lightest character with middle jumping skill. (His style of fighting is based off his hyperactive moment shown in The Cave of Many Voices when he destroys the stone teeth.) Barrages of physical attacks that keep coming and so are hard to evade like Lucario is his specialty. Slow speed.

Ruby- Middle weighted character and third highest jumping skills. Fast attacks with good strength behind them and moving around easily makes her well balanced like Mario. Fast speed.

Cera- Third heaviest character with third lowest jumping ability. Attacks with a single focus that are poweful yet harder to control like Donkey Kong is her fighting style. Medium speed.

Littlefoot- Heaviest character and second lowest jumping capabilities. Slower, stronger moves that can be hard to predict because he has a tail and can attack from both sides. Not-too-low speed with pretty strong attacks that can be difficult to foresee makes him like Wario. Medium speed.

Just some thoughts on the gang of seven. Not sure how useful this is, but I wanted to add what I could. Later!
