...I'd definitely have to be a flyer. Quetzalcoatlus...and I imagine the larger ones like it being called big wings.

I'm just kind of curious what some of us would be.

I've been away from this board way too long...I had thought the franchise had ended, until the latest movie came out. Between that and Sprout airing the series, it drove me to see if this board was still around.

Attic Treasures / Star Wars Legends

Anyone else a devoted Legends fan? To me, that will always be the real Star Wars timeline...I don't like what Disney's making at all. And I'm glad there's a drive to get them to put out more books...it'd be great if Sword of the Jedi could be released, and more to fill the gaps in the Old Republic material and between Crucible and Legacy.

DOes the official site still exists? It's all over the Wiki, but doesn't turn up in searches. Is it defunct, as I fear? I think so, because it redirects to a Universal site.

And, does anyone have Ruby and Chomper's character logos from the site? They aren't in the Wiki, and I wanted to make a Firefox persona with them.

I remember getting an advertisement in I think LBT 2 for LBT 3...but it said it was to be Journey Through The Mists and talked about Allie. Anyone know why it got pushed back to LBT 4 and Time of the Great Giving put in as 3?

1. Why is the Mysterious Beyond/land outside the valley so desolate in the original film and some sequels but greener in the series, as well as movies like LBT 4?

2. Is the "great rock that looks like a longneck" Saurus Rock?

Did they ever put out the second singalong, the LBT/American Tail one? I recall the advertisement on one of the sequel tapes but haven't seen anything of it since.

1988 Theatrical Release / LBT Book question/movie storyline

Does anyone know why the movie storyline was changed from what's in the books? I requested the movie storybook through interlibrary loan, and I once had copies of the two shorter books (I believe I still have one but the other's gone) I'm curious why the storyline was changed to edit out the part about Littlefoot finding the valley, then turning back to get the others to it. Plus why the part about the oasis in the movie storybook was cut from the actual movie.

ETA: Second question: How many times has the movie been released on video? My version has the Pizza Hut ad in the beginning with the party...don't think I'll ever forget that thing lol. And it had a box rather than a case. Then there was the later one in the case...the DVD...were there more?

Anyone know what ep number it is? This is what showed today..I found out it's on at 830 am central...am usually still upstairs getting ready for work then but I can tape it and watch while I'm waiting for the bus.

Glad some of the old chars are coming back...can't wait to see about Ali when it happens.

Any of you dino fans also read this series? And I'd forget the miniseries and TV thing, they are soooo unlike the books that it's not even funny. That's actually what my screenname is from; I use it all the time in that fandom and just carried it to this one.

I think I found this site off the JP site. I saw the first LBT film at the theater a long time back, and used to have nearly all the tapes (up to 7 I think) but then my darn aunt thought I was too big and took them :( Most of them, I've got 1,7 and the singalong I think. And possibly 3. I should watch for them on TV and tape them myself.

I also once had several of the Pizza Hut puppets but those got lost in moving :( so did my two books and the big stuffed LIttlefoot I found :((

Anyway, I also love the end credits song and listen to it quite a bit.

My username is actually my Dinotopia fandom name, it goes with my Flyer persona lol
