Anyways, I would probabally skip on this one myself, soley for the fact that I can not eat spicy food.  I mean, the Zinger Burger at KFC is still fairly spicy for me, and I know for a fact that I would not be able to eat that upgraded, more spicy version of the Zinger Burger....I forget what it's called.
I remember eating a Zinger once when I was little... never again.

LBT Fanfiction / R and PG-13 rated Land Before Time Fan Fiction
« on: June 05, 2010, 01:20:04 AM »
I pretty much agree with Pokeplayer's thoughts.

My personal view is, with Fan Fiction, anything goes. It is the writer's choice as to what they put in their fic, as it's their creative material. On the same note, I believe that others do not have a right to tell writers what they should and shouldn't put into their fics - and whatever the subject matter of a story is, it doesn't matter whether it fully fits into the fandom or not. As long as a fanfic is well-written and has a degree of maturity when it comes to handling of the subject matter, I consider it a "proper" fan fiction... that includes PG and R-rated stories.

Saurus Rock: Member Hall of Fame / Member Awards 2010 - Voting open
« on: June 05, 2010, 12:57:49 AM »
Jeez, it's been a while since I posted... I might as well chip in as well.

I do think that the friendly member award should go to MrDrake - ever since he joined, he's been nothing but outgoing and friendly towards everyone else.

And the Philosopher award should go to Malte - his posts always provoke deep thought in me and make me reconsider my views on a subject.

Like many others, I'll need to think about the others for a small while.

I think it is safe to agree that Justin Bieber looks and sounds like a little girl.
I think we can all agree that Drake should be given a medal for that.

Well, the FIA change something pretty much every season, sometimes during the season. This was some Finnish magazine's April Fool's joke.

Starting this weekend at the Spanish Grand Prix, all of the Formula One teams will have to conform to yet more radical new regulations.

The Lotus team was spied testing their new chassis configuration in response to the rule changes today:

...Gotcha. :lol

The Fridge / On this day, We lost a legend.
« on: May 01, 2010, 03:55:47 AM »
Today, May the 1st, is the 16th anniversary of the death of Ayrton Senna. He was a Brazilian Formula One driver, widely considered to be the greatest ever, and the last F1 driver to be killed in a race.
He was fatally injured at the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix, when he speared off the track at a flatout corner and hit the wall while leading the race. A piece of the car's suspension pierced his helmet just above the eyebrow and damaged his brain. Despite being given an emergency tracheotomy at the crash site, the slow action of the marshals meant that he was pronounced dead upon arriving at the local hospital.
Senna's death, while tragic, brought many changes to F1 that improved the safety of the sport. Cars can now withstand more severe imacts with drivers walking away with little more than bruises; circuits now have larger runoff areas and walls are being made out of new material that softens impacts; and all changes made to the rules, cars and tracks are scrutinised under stringent safety regulations.

Nevertheless, nothing changes the fact that the world of motorsport lost one of its greats on that weekend.

Rest In Peace, Senna.
