What languages do you speak?
My primary language is English and that's all I typically speak, but I do happen to know a tiny bit of Spanish (not enough for it to be useful in everyday life, though).

Are you a fan of any other animes? Can you give us a shortlist?
I don't believe I am. Yu-Gi-Oh! is only anime I really watched growing up or as an adult.

Which alternate history plot twist would you find the most interesting?
Sadly I'm not familiar enough with any 'alternate history plot twists' to be sure how to properly answer this question.

Do you like Pokemon? Your favorite?
Huh. I never got an email notif for this one. Sorry about the really late reply.

@Compsognathus I'm actually not familiar with Pokemon. I was more into Yu-Gi-Oh growing up.

Do you consider yourself more of an introvert or an extrovert?
Most likely an introvert.

(Sorry about the late reply - I'd gotten the email notification, had intended to reply later that day, and then forgot.)

Do you like horror games? :p
When I was younger, I played a lot of zombie shooter/survival horror games like The Last Stand series and Dead Frontier, but nowadays, Dead Frontier is the only horror game I play. I started playing in very late 2010.

Do you play video games? If so, do you have a favourite game(s)?
A little bit. Mostly online games, though. I'd say my favorite is Dead Frontier. I've been playing it since late 2010-early 2011.

General Land Before Time / Re: Getting to know you - LBT Style
« on: January 15, 2021, 04:11:28 PM »
1.)  Most liked Land Before Time character - Probably Cera or Ruby. I'm surprised that this hasn't changed since the last time I was active a few years back.
2.)  Least liked Land Before Time character - I honestly don't have a clue.
3.)  Most liked Land Before Time song - "Things Change" - boy do I relate to this song. I'd have to write a book if I explained how much I relate to this song, given how much my life has changed in only the last three years.
4.)  Least liked Land Before Time song - "Always There". Not for the reasons you would think of course, but more on a personal level. I can't listen to the song because it only makes me think of a personal loss (will be mentioned below) I suffered shortly after I had stopped being active on here.
5.)  Most liked Land Before Time film - The Great Longneck Migration
6.)  Least liked Land Before Time film - Journey of the Brave
7.)  Most memorable Land Before Time moment - I can't watch the scene anymore without completely breaking down since it only reminds me of my grandmother who passed in 2017, but the passing of Littlefoot's mother.

I've probably done this before on my old account, but I feel like that was so long ago that I may as well do it again now.

The acoustic version of "Nancy The Tavern Wench" by Alestorm.

I'm a big heavy metal fan and I love the original version of the song, but this version packs even more emotion than the heavy metal version in my opinion.

The acoustic guitars in place of the electric and bass guitars also help it have more of a traditional pirate sea shanty feel, too.

Personally, I despise both.

I tend to only drink water and milk; root beer if I happen to eat pizza.

Yeah, I can't even begin to describe how worried I was when I first found out that my great-uncle had tested positive after my grandfather and I were both around him for Thanksgiving. I had done a lot of research about this virus over the last year, so when I got that phone call from my great-uncle, I was like "Oh s***", more or less.

My grandfather and I had done so well with not getting sick all year, and then my great-uncle went and ruined that by not telling us he was sick just so he'd have guests over for Thanksgiving. He didn't warn his brother-in-law, who had also come over to eat, either.

Rio, it's a much better film. Both conceptually and in execution.
For the record, I agree with that--I've seen Rio multiple times but never could watch Happy Feet all the way through. :p
Yeah, I think that may be due to how Happy Feet is more realistic and has a bigger focus on the environmental message than Rio did. Both definitely have the same basis for their plots, though (focusing on an environmental message - Happy Feet seems to have taken a darker route than Rio did, though).

Would you rather face the Indominus Rex or the original LBT Sharptooth?
Oof, tough question... but probably Sharptooth. I think he might be less of a psychopath than the Indominus Rex.

Would you rather play video games or actual games (sports included)?

Thankfully, it looks like you two both got a mild case of the illness as opposed to the alternative.
Yeah, I'm grateful for that. I just hope the tiredness and pain in my left knee goes away as quickly as being sick did. The worst of the sickness only lasted four days for me and six days for my grandfather.

My grandfather and I both tested positive for COVID-19 because of one of our relatives not telling us he was sick on Thanksgiving day when we came over, until we'd already been around him. He later tested positive for the virus. :facepalm

That was two weeks ago, come this Thursday, though. Overall, we feel fine save for being tired, some sniffles, and a pain that occurs in my left knee at night.

I guess we should just be grateful neither of us had to be hospitalized because of the virus at this point. We were both pretty sick last week for about 4-5 days, but this week, we've felt fine other than being tired - that's the thing bothering us most at this point. What we experienced though, didn't seem much worse than being sick with the common flu. I guess we got lucky in that respect.

And hey, there's a bright side, right? We've been exposed to the virus and recovered pretty well, so at least now we can't get sick from COVID-19 again as long as it doesn't mutate.

Just thought I'd explain why I'd been so silent. Last week was pretty stressful for both of us.

This was actually a hard choice for me since I enjoy both, but in the end I went with Dinosaur because of the nostalgia.

Would you rather watch Rio or Happy Feet?

Do you have a favourite non-LBT animated film?
Hmm, I'd say my favorite animated movie other than The Land Before Time has to be either Happy Feet or Ice Age.

SpongeBob

The Land Before Time or Jurassic Park? (I'm sorry, I'll take myself to the corner now.)

The Party Room / Re: What is your avatar and why did you pick it?

I chose my current avatar since Cera's my favorite TLBT character (and since I don't have any art of my TLBT OCs that I can really use as an avatar yet).

Biased answer, unfortunately. I've only seen the latter.

Rock/metal music or pop music?

Probably eliminate it. I always struggle to adjust until a month later when the time changes.

Would you rather listen to Linkin Park or Avril Lavigne? (Funnily enough, I like both.)

Don't forget to answer Sharpely's question! :ChomperImAwesome

What is your favorite genre of music?
Oops. I somehow didn't notice their question.

@Sharpely: I've got a cat and three praying mantises; they all happen to be female. (Edit: Only one mantis now. Two have died since this was asked.)

@ImpracticalDino: Hmm, I'd say either heavy metal, metalcore, nu metal, or post-grunge.
