A Zora, yes, but it also looks like the Great Fairy from Wind Waker. Remember? She also had a pointy hat like that... even though it was her hair... but the other Great Fairies had it like that.

If its a Zora, though, we can't complain either.

The fact that Link doesn't have a sword must be the change Miyamoto mentioned. In previous Zeldas, Link was depicted with the Master Sword, or the logo had it. In titles where the Master Sword doesn't enter, you don't see Link with it. Stupid theory, I know. Maybe this is because the Master Sword won't enter, then...?

There is also a new Super Mario Bros coming out for Wii that is apparently Quad-player! So you can play classic Mario Bros action but with up to 3 other friends! Looks pretty sweet from what I've seen so far and it plays pretty well.

About time, if you ask me. For much time, we've been into the controller to, well, control Link's sword, it would be a pretty good change to start using the Wii remote to swing. Some consider it might not be a good idea, but I'd actually think its a good innovation. Same goes to voice-acting. As long as we don't end up "Mah boi", I think voicing a Zelda game is a pretty good idea. Its that last bit missing. Then again, they've never done it before, I doubt they'll do it now. :s

Word is, the new Zelda for Wii may include the usage of the new MotionPlus feature for the Wiimotes. There is somewhat a length of uncertainty as to whether MotionPlus will be a necessity or not as of right now but there are considerations for it. As for the voice acting, somehow I don't think that is a factor that is liable to change. Most fans of the series wouldn't want Link to suddenly start talking having spend nearly 20 years of him NOT talking. It is an establish normality fans have come to recognise in the Zelda series so I doubt something that well set will be grounds for any amount of alteration.
Therein the legend of the mute Link, right? =D

Well, the voice acting I was referring was actualy to the rest of the characters. While grunts and such have worked till now, a small variation wouldn't hurt, I think?

@Nick - That would be real good too, well noted.

I pray and bite my nails for Final Fantasy XIII to be released this year!!!!

Well, you better stop nibbling your cuticles now Lillefot. An English translation to FF13 isn't due until at least March/April next year. I guess it's an improvement from December 2010 so I guess we can be grateful for that much. At least we've got Dissidia (PSP) and the 2 other Kingdom Hearts games to look forward to this year.

There has been a formal announcement of Final Fantasy 14 but like #11 it will be an online only but it will be across PS3, 360 and PC.

Here's hoping the new Final Fantasy and God of War will be as good as the previous entries in their series'.

You have no fear of that Noname. Check out some of the trailer on youtube or any big gaming site. They've got all the reviews and videos there. They look just a little bit awesome ;)

That Zelda game'd better not be Spirit Tracks. I want a Wii game or at least something better.

Don't worry there. This new title is for Wii. Apparently, Miyamoto-san is looking to break away from the ready made formula of tying all Zelda storylines back to the Ocarina of Time series. Apparently he's looking for a fresh idea that's unrelated to any of the previous games.

Yet, I didn't know details about the storyline. ._.

Gamers Zone / Mother
« on: June 05, 2009, 10:44:32 AM »
Yeah, minor incorrection on the title, because only Mother 2 was called Earthbound in the US version.

Still, anyone familiar with the game?

I started playing it some time ago, and I must say, the battle formula actually works. Obviously, the only way to play it was by searching for some kind of hacked version of sorts (because Mother 3 was only released in Japan), but after taking a look at the game, I actually liked the gameplay and the story is really touching. Even though its still pixelized - and its for the GBA, mind you - it gets you addicted to it for quite a while.

Earthbound was pretty good too, and it was considered the best japanese RPG game. Unlike Mother 3, Earthbound was also released in the US - damn europeans don't know when they've got a good game in their hands. And its actually an interesting game, because you see so many critics here you want to laugh. You get to fight New Age Retro Hippies and Cranky Old Women, and whatever you want to name that's bad about society. ._. At least in their opinion. Earthbound, from wat I've played so far, is quite an attractive game, but that's me.

Mother (the first version) is an old version of Earthbound, at least from what I had the opportunity to play.

I really advise the Mother series to good storyline lovers. And also people who liked the PokÈmon turn based combats.

It's like it doesn't exist. o_o I've searched up and down and I haven't found anything either. No lyric matches, nothing.

Is "The Raven" its name, or...?

Albus thundered through the hallway, across many screens and such, somewhere off the galaxy.

"I demand names! I want Cornerians killed!" Albus roared as he walked, ready to pull the gun's trigger.

Bumping because I just had a pleasant surprise about my Biology intermediate exam, since, okay, there were 300 pages to study, but the material inside the test was, like, ten pages. ._. I almost made a party in my place if it wasn't for the inspectors all around me whenever I raised or lowered a pen.

Will also sat down with the group.

"How are things all around the galaxy. You guys do runarounds, you should know." He asked, curious, while relaxing back.

Will eagerly munched on a random piece of food he caught from the food table.

"So, I take it we've got somewhere to plan the trip down, right?" He asked, placing the bitten food.

"Ah, eheh, thanks for that one." Will thanked, leting himself be guided by Krystal.

The room actually left him surprised.

"Hum, real food...?!" He celebrated. "I haven't eaten anything ever since we fought!"

The Airwing slowly landed and Will jumped out, taking the helmet off.

"Nice ship you've got here..." He commented, looking around at the machinery. "This is the Great Fox... wow..."

His distraction nearly got him against another ship, though.
