I've never even thought to be embarrassed by liking The Land Before Time. There just aren't a ton of situations where it comes up in real life. I guess I don't go around advertising that I enjoy it. If I did, the fact that I might feel compelled to evangelize would perhaps be the only embarrassing part. But I just don't understand the situation where somebody feels they need to come out of the closet, so to speak, with their family or friends.

Maybe if you have an unhealthy obsession with LBT, but that wouldn't be something to feel proud about anyway.

Hmm, maybe. I don't think it would really work in 3D, but I couldn't pass up seeing LBT in theaters. But the format of cel animation doesn't really lend itself to 3D.

Wow, great collection! I'm fairly confident that none of these cels are sketches are fake. I've seen and bought a ton in my day and these all look genuine. It looks like you bought several of them from icollect-online who I know purchased multitudes of boxes directly from the studio, so there's no doubt about their authenticity.

Generally artists won't fake cels unless there's a good profit margin to be made. Faking cels takes a lot of time, research, and effort. They're only going to be faking cels worth several hundred dollars. Additionally, they tend to target more popular series, like Evangelion, Dragon Ball, Sailor Moon, etc.
