Cyrix frowned at Racnars request, but nodded his head anyway. "I promise not to tell Cayso, but I will be telling Mim the moment she returns." Cyrix then took a leaf from a bush and held it under Racnar's mouth to catch the few drops of blood from his mouth and hands.

Longtail sighed and asked, "Racnar...is there anything I can do?"

LIttlefoot nods, "He did pretty well. He caught a few fish of his own." Littlefoot said. "He was resting after eating one or 2 of them last I saw." He said.

"Sounds like he's doing well then." Mim said.

"Yeah, it sounds like he is fine..." - Cayso nodded - ".. it is a great relief." - The kid kept on walking, smiling as he sees like they get closer to the river and also as he sees the plants.

Racnar tried to catch his breathe - "Cayso ... worries too much and I feel... that I am just... ruining his day in this valley." - He shed a tear, not only because of his physical pain, but also because he feels frustrated, he then looked at Longtail and said - ".. this may sound silly... but I'd be happy if all of you can stay." - Fast-biters are not fond to be alone, they always find a way to be in at least groups of two or three.

Longtail nodded at Racnars request and sat down next to him. He then said, "Don't worry, I've been alone for a long time...I'll stay with you, no one deserves to be alone."

Cyrix smiled at his nephews answer.
"I'm sure Cayso worries only because he cares about you, like I care for Longtail. He just wants to make sure you are okay and always feeling your best. And trust me, as long as you are okay, you won't be ruining his day. Trust me."

Now, let¥s see if the plants, Mim and the others bring along, will help you. I really hope so. It would be a great relief for all of us.

"I'm sure they will help. But it may be best instead of him eating just the leaves, maybe putting some fish into a leaf while wrapping around the fish, or meat, may help it to be a bit more eatable." Mim said walking along with the others.

Littlefoot nodded, "Let's get over there and see." He said with a cheery voice.

"That sounds like a good idea Mim." - Cayso said - "... but it may be also useful if he can get used to the flavour, since there are days that huntings don't go well." - the kid then shooked his head - "no good to think about those things. We should keep on going, we are very close now!."

Ecco got so much concern that he sat down next to the little fastbitter and laid an arm around his neck. If there is anything else we can do for you, just let us know, we¥ll do it. Your brother is right over there, see? He said and pointed in his direction.

Racnar managed to smile - "Things should be better now that they'll arrive... don't worry, they'll arrive... in time, I had... survived attacks worse... than this one."

Ecco waved to the others to come to them and bring the leaves. Would you prefer to eat the leaves with some fish? He asked, still one arm around his neck.

Mim nodded, "That would be best. Several methods can be tried and the one or ones he prefers can be used for eating the leaves." Mim said, "Rather then just 1 method all the time." She said.

"We're very close, you can see them just over there." Littlefoot said indicating with his head as they continued to walk over to where the others were.

Cyrix gave a wide smile as he saw Mim and Cayso return. "I am glad to see you've returned. Racnar is...okay...for the moment, but he was playing just a little too hard and made himself tired." Cyrix said with a forced smile. He hated lying, but he did promise Racnar he wouldn't tell and that is what he intended to keep.

Cayso saluted too - "It seems everything is ok, I like that." - He then placed the leaves he was carrying in the floor in front of Racnar. - "I'll wait for Mim to tell us which plants we should use depending on the situation." - He looked at Ecco, Longtail and then to Cyrix - "Thank you for keeping him company."

Racnar smiled kindly at his brother, and he looked at Cyrix with gratefulness while Cayso was putting the plants in the floor.

Cyrix nodded his head to Racnar, and then said, "It was no trouble at all. I'd be glad to help anytime."

Longtail then looked over to Cayso and smiled.
"My uncle is right, your brother is a lot of fun. And he can catch fish!" said Longtail with a happy tone of voice.

If we have some fish left, we could put it on the plants, so it would be easier to eat for you, Ecco suggested.

Mim nods, "We can do that, if Racnar feels up to it and isn't to full." She said smiling a bit while looking at some of the ones present then at Racnar.

Littlefoot went to get a drink of water once he arrived.

Racnar blushed a bit after hearing Longtail's comment and said very shyly - "Thanks... I guess that'll help me survive out there."

Cayso smiled as he hugged his brother - "That is awesome!, back in the herd we are looking for rivers and lakes, to have alternative means of food. Now that my brother learned how to catch fishes, things will get better."

"Speaking of fishes..." - Racnar grabbed the fish Ecco had and gave it to his brother, Cayso took it and began munching it happily. Then racnar looked at Cyrix, maybe now that Cayso is distracted he thinks the he may talk with Mim.

Ecco nodded and jumped back into the water. He just did it like before, forming a tower of fishes and swimming with open hands through it. He had luck and catched three fishes this time. Two with his left and one with his right hand. He got out of the water again and laid them next to the leaves. So, here we go, he said and smiled, a bit proub of himself.
