If I post anything in the incorrect place I am sorry I am new here :(
I do beleive this is where I post R.P's up for discussion?
Persecuted
Human beings have finally begun to evolve, to go to that next step. It started with one, then two, and then eventually there were a hundred. It has only been two years since the first advanced human appeared, and it has been three months since their “condition” has gone public. People are either ambivalent, or fear them and what they can do. People of the government have proposed to collect those with gifts, and they have a method. But the restrictions of the government are preventing things from becoming evil. Civilians have begun to take it into their own hands, and some of the evolved have been killed in “accidents.” Accidents that have gone ignored, especially if the individual was known to have powers.
The evolved are beginning to go into hiding if they went public with their powers. If no one knows, they try to continue to blend it, but some can not. Then there are those that have split up into gangs, to protect themselves, and each other, some even work to protect those that persecute them, becoming hero's of sorts.

This actually sounds very interesting. If you would allow me to I would like to be a part of this.
I just have a couple questions before I post my character profile.
1. When you say powers, do you mean like any kind of power, or something specific?
2. I assume when you say "accidents" you mean that they are getting killed off?
3. I'm a little confused as to what kind of person you can play as. If you could make that a little clearer for me I would really appreciate it.
Otherwise, I think this has a really nice premise and could be a fun RP ;)

Are any sorts of powers allowed, like x-men, or more like psionics (pk, pyrokineses, ect) and what sorts of limits?

I do have to say, I am rather curious about this one as well, and I would like to know a bit more about it as well.

Generic evolved- This is someone with powers who wishes to blend in with others.
Gang/Hero evolved-This can be a gang of normal civilians who wish to get rid of the evolved or a team of evolved who either want to wreak mayhem or save others.
Hero's self explanatory-work alone to save those who need it.
Normal civilian–Someone who either doesn't believe in the evolved, or who doesn't care.
Up too 6 powers.

I guess it may help the rp if at least some of the pc's start off as friends, friends of friends, relatives, friends of relatives, and like that? Maybe eventually forms a group like the Defenders, which use to be a group of supers in marvel comics who had no official status.

Just wondering, when you mean an evolved person, do you mean someone who would have powers like Spider-Man or Wolverine sort of thing?

Ah, it's all good, that's what I was kind of after, and not really....I actually now, don't know what I was after from asking that.
Because I have a character from my own little universe that I could use in this RP, it's just that he had features about him that makes him stand out, you know, wings, a tail, blue skin sort of thing :lol:

Hehe cool, cause he does have a power, super strength, but it's not great you know, not Hulk strong or anything like that, I suppose you could say, more Iron Man kind of strong.

Appearance: He has blue sking, wings that reach down to his legs and a tail. He has short black hair and tends to wear only a pair of shorts.
Personality: Is indeed, rather friendly, but of how humans have treated him, doesn't tend to like them as much, however, still does heroic like deeds when he wants so to speak.
Background: How he came upon his powers, or how he became what he is, is a mysery, even to him and he is still trying to figure it out himself as well.
Power: Flight, tail impalement and limited super strength, healing as well (not fast healing, but not slow either, it's more medium paced so to speak)
Other: He stays in an abandonded church, so that no one would really try and find him.

Age: 19
Orientation: Bisexual
Appearance: She wears a shirt and pants, as well as a pair of metal guantlets to which she had created for herself. She has long black hair as well.
Personality: Upon first look at her, one would believe that she isn't all that friendly, however, that's where the whole "Never judge a book by its cover" comes in, as she is rather friendly actually.
Background: She was raised up by her parents of course, but when they were killed, she had to leave her home and met Drake, deciding it would be best to stay with him at the moment. She had also created her metal guantlents because of a strange power she has surging within her, so her guantlents channel that energy into blasts as well as more power when punching something or someone, however, she can't remove them as she has added in tubes that run from the guantlets and into just above her wrists.
Power: Energy blasts via her guantlents as well as increased punching power, also, she is rather computer smart as well.....if that counts as a power XD
Other: Nothing else really that hasn't already been explained
Well, those are my two characters, I may bring a third in as well, or I may not, haven't quite decided on that one yet.

[Appearance] Trinity has white-gold hair that falls in silky ringlets to the middle of her back. Her shorter bangs sweep across her forehead, barely skimming her right eye before blending in with the rest of her hair. Her eyes are a deep sapphire blue hue and appear almost violet in certain lighting conditions. They are quite narrow and angular, rimmed by wispy black lashes. Trinity’s complexion is quite pale, and gives her the appearance of a china doll. Her small button nose has a sprinkling of light brown freckles over its bridge, seemingly the only color to her face. Even her full lips are pale pink in color. Trinity’s features are sophisticated and angular; she often appears older than she is. Trinity is not very tall – she stands at just 5’3” – but she is fit, with subtly defined muscles. Her height accentuates her curvy figure, but she tends to cover it up with her nondescript clothing, all of which she wears in varying dark colors. Her overall appearance gives her a delicate yet misleading angelic quality.
[Personality] Trinity is cold and calculating, with no value for her own life or the lives of others. She holds grudges against several people, and it is her desire for revenge that drives her. She is quite ambitious, but the motivation behind these ambitions has been tainted by her overwhelming bloodlust. Trinity is nearly void of all emotion but hatred and anger; her mouth is always set in a hard line, her eyes glinting maliciously. Her vendettas have caused her to become completely callous to anything and everything. She is closed-off to the pain and suffering of others, and isn’t afraid to walk over people to get what she wants. She has an extremely violent temper hidden under the unemotional mask.
[Background] Trinity grew up as a “troubled” in a broken home. From a young age, she began to develop a very violent nature that grew progressively worse with time. Her first killing was the drowning of her cat after it had scratched her. At the age of twelve, she beat her friend’s dog to death because it had growled at her. The smallest things would set off her temper. Her human murders began when she was fifteen – she killed her abusive step-father with his own shotgun while he was sleeping. However, Trinity still had a sliver of humanity in her heart, which remained only because of her loving mother. Sorrowfully, knowing she could no longer return to her mother, she took to the streets without looking back. She wandered alone for the next few years until, at age 18, she began to evolve. Not knowing what was happening to her, she hid on the outskirts of town until the transformation was complete. She eventually returned to town with her new powers, keeping them a secret from anyone and everyone she saw. Not long after her return, she heard that her mother had been killed – by an Evolved, no less. This event was the straw that broke the camel’s back for Trinity. The last of her compassion drained away. She became a monster. Hearing of the reward being offered for the capture of the Evolved, she immediately applied for a job as a bounty hunter. The government inevitably found out what Trinity was; but instead of putting her in confinement, they let her have the job. Their promise to her was that, if she continued to be of value to them, she would be the first to be treated if they found a way to reverse the effect of the evolution.

Name: Tiffany Barker
Age: 16
Appearance: Tiffany has long brown waves that reach just past her waist and is constantly tied up. Her eyes are a peculiar shade of violet and are large, making her look innocent and sweet in any situation. Tiffany wears clothes to match her eyes, sweet and innocent, usually with a few bows. She doesn't like dark colours and usually wears bright pastel colours and hair accesorries that stand out in a crowd.
Personality: With Tiffany, what you see is what you get. Tiffany is very gentle and loves just about everything and anything, an optimist at the least. She is not easily afraid, but is completely defenceless in any case. She is almost always smiling and will join in with conversations. Tiffany can make the best of most situations, but disaproves of many things. She stands by her beliefs and is not afraid to say what she thinks, which usually gets her in trouble, but not much trouble. It's hard for most people to stay angry at her. Tiffany can get quite emotional, and never cares to hide it, but would rather make a bit of a scene. You can trust Tiffany, unless it's something extremely against her morals, then she would most likely judge you, but would still never tell anyone.
Background: Tiffany's father died when she was a toddler and her mother was stricken with grief, soon spiraling into depression. Tiffany does all she can to make her mother happy and that means working hard in school, doing all the chores and even cooking meals on bad days. Her mother was improving until her sister, Tiffany's aunt Lorraine, died. Once again, Tiffany was left to pick up the pieces and spend another chunk of her childhood helping her mother get back on her feet.
Powers: Telekenesis, Fire Manipulation and Animated Hair ((Basically, she can grow her hair whenever she wants. It's totally random, but oh well.)) Time Manipulation.
Other: Tiffany, has some habits that she does when in different moods, like twisting the hem of her dress when she's nervous or scared, running her hand through her hair when she's been complimented, playing with strands of her hair when she's tense, etc.

Affiliation: Jayden is his own person and affiliates himself with no one but is not unknown to work with gangs, even the occasional 'hero'

Appearance: Jayden is 6'5" and firmly built, with a lean frame. He has a four inch scar on the left side of his face. There are a multitude of scars along the rest of his body, but they are generally hidden. His eyes are green with a hazel hint around the edges. His hair is an unruly black that he wears longer. He has a bad boy look about him. He tends to wear simple jeans, and an old leather jacket that he has owned for years. But it is not uncommon to see him wearing different clothes. He is just more comfortable in jeans and a simple t-shirt.
Personality: Jayden has a dark disposition, though he is not evil in any way. He just lacks the capacity to care deeply. He tends to just do as he wants, despite what it might mean for others. There is some capacity in him to care, he just doesn't know its there. When he does care, he doesn't really show it with words. He does it with acts. He will got to the ends of the earth for something that he believe is right, it does not matter what will happen to him when it comes to this. He's smart, especially mathematically, and with statistics. He knows how to work the streets, and because of that he is a fighter - mentally and physically.
Background: Jayden grew up in the bad part of the Bronx, making his living with little assistance from his parents. He has done just about every type of drug and has dealt them. Made good money off of it as well. When his gifts manifested Jayden took advantage of them, until his younger sister was killed by another dealer he ripped off. Her death was gruesome, and Jayden was forced to watch the whole of it. It is largely the cause of who he is today. Jayden withdrew then, disappearing for several months. His gifts manifested after her death.
Power: flight, telekinesis, and healing (He heals quickly, but when he heals others he takes on their wounds and has to endure the pain. It can also be destructive, but only if he is touching a person.)
Other: Jayden is open about his powers, he does not care if anyone knows what he can do, but he won't tell them if they don't ask.

Actually, neither of them, you leave it in where the other ones are, as finished is for RPs that had been concluded, whilst unfinished is for those that have not had any responses in quite some time.
For example, my RP is in the main page there, not in either finished or unfinished.

Personality: Cold, harsh, tends to lay low, loner
Background: Zaine developed his powers around his 18th birthday. Unfortunately, he was rejected by his family and friends, so he became a wanderer. Zaine isn't one to walk up and make friends easily. He usually sticks to himself, but if he has no other choice he will interact with others. Zaine's cold and harsh attitude came with his powers. He normally resorts to violence first ask questions later, making him dangerous to all his enemies.
Power: Ice

Name: Jason Banks
Age: 18
Orrientation: Straight
Appearance: Jason is attractive to say the least. He has dark hair that is constantly ruffled in a carelessly cute way and eyes that dance with emotion. Jason dresses casually, but the way he stands makes him appear important and confident, definately making him look powerful. Jason is strongly built, his muscularity is visible, but he doesn't show it often. Jason is tanned, and his smile is amazingly charming, a grin you couldn't say no to, but his glare is worse. When Jason wants to look intimidating, he doesn't disappoint and when he is aggrivated, his charming smile becomes a sneer that is just downright grim. In public, Jason prefers to look calm and under control, but behind closed doors, he throws off his alluring charade and becomes the real Jason, vile and menacing.
Personality: Jason doesn't have friends. He has items. Items to show off and parade around, just to show how amazing everyone thinks he is. Summer is just another one of his items, something he treats with no respect and is only there to show off. Most of Jason's close friends have seen the way Jason really is, not his charming mask that he usually uses. All of these friends but one find the way that Jason treats Summer as dispicable, but would never say it in fear of getting treated the same way. Jason's only true friend is Robert, who sees things the same way as Jason does. Jason as an individual is just cruel. He has no patience and will build up anger all day before taking it out on Summer at his first oppurtunity. When around those who believe Jason to be a nice person, Jason makes sure that Summer looks happy and affectionate, the way she always has been. Summer does whatever Jason tells her to, being to afraid to refuse.
Background: Jason grew up as a single child, living in an orphanage after being abandoned by his parents. Growing up, Jason would manipulate the staff at the orphanage to do things his way, so he always came out on top. With the help of his charm, Jason became the most loved child in the orphanage, as the others never knew how he really acted towards Summer. As far as they know, he and Summer are a perfectly happy teenage couple in love. Jason met Summer after moving to her school at the age of fourteen. Instantly, Jason knew that he wanted her hanging off of his arm at lunch, so at first opportunity, he played his charm on her and she fell like a ton of bricks. At first, Jason continued to play the sweet kind boy. He would buy Summer things and compliment her everyday.Eventually, however, Jason noticed that Summer was still talking with other boys, and even know there was nothing romantic happening between her and anyone else,Jason became paranoid and had forbidden her to talking to other guys. When Summer told him he was being unreasonable and that he couldn't control her, Jason hit her. Since then, Jason has loved the feeling of power that he got from bossing Summer around and began to control every aspect of her life. What she ate, wore, everything. Sometimes, Summer would refuse to do something and violence became a more frequent thing, until eventually he would hit her for so much as smiling at another boy.

Background: Summer's parents were always very busy with work, so had no time to take care of her and spend time with her. She would seek company from strangers, trying to make friends, but nothing really worked out. After fourteen years of lonliness, Jason moved into Summer's class and took an instant interest to her, something that Summer has never experienced before. Jason made her feel special, showering her with gifts and affection. Jason gained Summer's trust and she soon fell in love with him, not knowing that he was merely toying with her heart and didn't care for her at all. Summer was fifteen when Jason first hit her. She grew hurt, confused and increasingly paranoid. Jason would continuously regain Summer's trust, just to hit her again, soon making her very obedient, and what he sees as the ideal girlfriend.
Personality: Before meeting Jason, Summer was extremely optimistic and always had a smile on her face. She was energetic and just plain happy, though she did eventually grow quite lonely when she saw that everyone in her class had formed groups of friends, and she had no one. When Jason first spoke to Summer, she was already beginning to grow depressed from her isolation with others. Jason soon made Summer happy again, not realizing the impact he would have on her life by doing so and exactly what he did when he first hit her. After years of beatings, Summer was soon taught to be obedient and quiet, but keep her affectionate ways. She didn't dare tell anyone about what was occurring in fear of losing Jason, who she still believes is the only person that cares about her.
Appearance: Summer has a fair complexion that suits nicely with her hair that falls in waves of varying blonde's to her waist. With Summer, what you see is what you get, and with Summer, you get someone innocent and sweet. Summer has a smile that gives off even more charm than Jason's. One of the reasons Jason was attracted to Summer in the first place was because of her beauty, another being that she seemed easy to manipulate. Summer often wears dresses, mainly because Jason prefers it that way, thinking it makes her look slightly smaller, and therefore make him much more intimidating. Summer has a thin figure that, unlike Kayla's, is as weak as it looks, leaving Summer to depend on Jason to protect her, though he's usually the one hurting her. She walks slowly, usually looking at the ground due to her lack of confidence, which makes her look even more delicate and vulnerable.

Orientation: Unknown (she doesn't tend to say anything in regards to that XD)
Appearance: Brown hair that goes down to her shoulders and wears a black and white dress mainly.
Personality: Rather friendly, doesn't get really serious either and prefeers not to fight herself.
Background: Not much is known about her, nor from what time period she comes from either.
Power: Time travelling, however, it requires a fair amount of focus to open up a time portal and while under stress, she can't really do it well.
Other: She has a pet black cat named Ruby whom she never goes anywhere without her, even through time, she will never leave the time period without her. She can also understand Ruby rather clearly by some sort of unknown power, some strange connection between the two. However, Ruby can only talk back to Rose as well as when talking to others, all they would hear is meowing.

Age: Unknown
Orientation: Uknown
Appearance: He wears an armored suit all the time which is more advanced than normal suits of his kind. The colours they are is blue and silver as well. He has various weapons on him as well, well, mainly a stun rod and a gun for starters anyway.
Personality: Shows no remorse for the Evolved, which is why he's also called an Evolved Hunter
Background: Nothing is really known about him, like who he was or what nationality he is. Al that's known is that he hunts down Evolved and kills them.
Power: Expert hand to hand combatanent, expert marksman, camoflaugue (or, turning inisible, via his suit), a chip within his suit that keeps out telepathy as well. His suit is well insulated too, so he can stand various heat and cold weather as it were.
Other: Nothing else really.
