Nice background, Nimrod. xDD

Thanks.  :)

I'm still deciding about the story of my comic I promised. Hm... =/
First it was meant that a human (me xD) finds a book about dinosaurs that opens a portal to a world.
Then he lands somewhere in the world of "The Land Before Time".
He then wakes up as "Sky". ^^
...
Or we can skip that human/portal thingy and we start there where he wakes up. xD ^^

Oh, and I don't know what artwork I should draw next.
Anyone got ideas?    :D

How about the characters in a dangerous situation and an accordingly gloomier landscape than the Great Valley? Petrie and Sky flee-flying from an erupting volcano for example.

If I was you I would skip the human involvement and try to write a story that could be turned into a movie without breaking with the early land before time movies. This is just my suggestion though and many will think different about it.

@ Sky: your first idea for your story let remember me the endless story. Did anyone hear about the book or saw the film?

I must say your art work is far impressive to what i done, the background is amazing and so is the drawings.

I also like the idea of your story as well :) it very good idea with the portal thing. I had thought about something those that line before with a story idea and the one that I slowly work on is where everyone out of a group of five kids this was long before the tv series or lbt 11 or 12 and even 10 where the group make a wish that was the same one when seeing a shooting star and some how it came true, at the moment they in the world of land before time meeting the gang of five and some how they each are types of the same group of Littlefoot and his friends. (I guess you already read some of it and get what I am saying lol)

Still back to your art, it fanstically amazing.

as for your story, I think Malte is right, if you try to keep human out of it, most likely make a better story, but there has been some that had human in it that did well for example the yugioh crossover with LBT, both stories I read of that before they disappeared was amazing to read, I enjoyed that.

but in the end it your choice :)

The English title of "Die unendliche Geschichte" is "The neverending story".
I'm quite a fan of the books of Michael Ende. There is a thread about Michael Ende's books in the arts section.

Hey, great idea. biggrin.gif
I think I'll do that. wink.gif
A while ago I made a drawing (a rough one at that) of Petrie and Pterano swooping down the slope of an erupting volcano (a scene from a story of mine). Petrie's face is just very suited for looks of distress (wide eyes clenched teeth in the corners of his mouth etc.) :lol
A volcanic eruption offers a chance to make good use of many colors which are usually used a lot more sparingly.

Ok, that makes Story 1: 0 | Story 2: 2
I think I will decide the story on wednesday. ;)

@Threehorn
Ah yes. A wish apon a star
A very very cool fanfic.
I'm looking forward to it. :yes

I wished I could be there too. *slap* ... *stops being selfish* xD

@Malte
Really? Is it somewhere in the forums?
I could use it as an inspiration.    But only if you allow.  ;)

Of course you may use it as an inspiration, but without any false modesty I must say that the drawing is best used as an example on how NOT to do it. The perspective I used did not help promoting a dramatic effect. I suppose it would be much better if a frontal worm's eye view was picked (with the volcano towering above Petrie swooping down the slope). Alternately (if a focus on the destruction caused by the volcano rather than the immediate danger of the characters was intended) one could have the flyers hover high above the volcano and offer a wide scope birds eye view on the destruction below.
Here is a link to that drawing I mentioned, but apart from the shortcomings mentioned above it is also drawn just with very thin lines so you can't see much in this drawing.
Here is another drawing with a totally different context, but it shows an example of a wide-eyed, "clenched-teethed" Petrie es mentioned above.
This picture may give some inspiration about one possible scheme of colors that might be caused by a volcanic eruption.

Why? what did you hear about ICQ?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but ICQ uses numbers as screennames, doesn't it? I don't like that idea because I would have problems memorizing each screenname, and I don't want to have to the screennames down on a list, as I never had to do that before with other IM programs I've used.

Yes, you are right. But you can also use names. The only problem is that there are very much same names. And than you¥ll need the ICQ numbers. I have no problem with remember them.^^ I wrote my own down at a piece of paper and the other one I¥ll have in my ICQ member list. So I don¥t have to write them down.
