Right now, I'd have to say this is my all-time favorite Japanese magna/anime.  There was a time from 03-04 when I had pretty much given up on anime, when I saw thia air on Adult Swim in June of 2004 and have loved it since.

My interest in the murder mystery genre really began because of this series. Gosho Aoyoma really made good characters. (My favorite being the lead kid Conan, who's really a teenage detective who got shrunk back to the size of a kid by a poison.)

Sure, even though the series is up to over 500 episodes and over 60 volumes in the books, I've never really thought it to be repetitive.

Is there anyone else who likes this series?

I also enjoy the DC/CC movies, all 13 of them. I really hope Funimation dubs movie 3 and releases it here in the states.
