Hi!  :rainbowwave I am Goldenwind (I am a Jojo fan if you've guessed. XD) The Land Before Time was a big childhood franchise of mine and I used to watch the first three movies a lot when I had the VHSs. I even liked watching it whenever a movie or episode of the show aired on Cartoon Network. When I discovered this forum, I thought I give it a try and be a part of the community. :) I am also a big writer as I have been writing fan fiction since I knew what it was. :lol You can find me and my work on Deviant Art under Spider-boy2.

Hello Goldenwind, welcome to the Gang of Five! Nice username by the way. There’s plenty that this small humble community has to offer, so feel free to look around and participate in what peaks your interest. There are also many other artists and writers just like you here, so checking out some of their works may be something you will like.

How many LBT movies have you watched so far? Do you have a favorite? Least favorite? How about least/most favorite character?

Once again, I’m pretty happy to see a new member after quite a long time, and hopefully you’ll enjoy your stay here!

I have managed to watch every film in the franchise plus the TV show, this includes the 14th movie which I saw later after it's release.

Will say my favorite movie is the first as it was breathtaking to me compared to the rest. Though if I had to pick a favorite sequel, it would either be the 5th movie as it provides a great continuation of Chomper from the 2nd, or the 7th for having a very interesting story surrounding Pterano and the events that happened off-screen in the first movie.

I will say that the 11th is my least favorite. I felt it was mean spirited with Littlefoot's and Mr. Threehorn's actions. Mr. Threehorn snapping at Tria for her wanting to protect the Tinysauruses felt very wrong to me.

I have three favorite characters. Chomper, because I really like the idea of him trying to fit with the leafeaters and he has a very likable personality.  I also really like Spike's carefree personality and his relaxed nature. I also liked Guido as I liked his design and found him to be pretty funny in the 12th movie. XD

I really don't have a least favorite character, but I think Dinah and Dana might qualify. They constantly put themselves in danger in the middle part of the 6th film but are oblivious to it. I wasn't comfortable watching those parts of the film. XP

Hello and welcome to the Gang of Five, Goldenwind! We are all friendly, so don't hesitate to interact and post in the many many discussion threads this forum has to offer! I'm also a part of the large fanfic writer clique, so I might be biased.

To have someone new who is a fan of the entire series is a rarity, indeed! As much as people like to rag on the number of sequels and singing dinos, the lore that LBT as a whole came up with is breathtakingly astounding. We hope you enjoy our Great Valley! :chompysmile

Haha, I can already tell just by skimming through it that it’s a pretty well constructed fanfic despite how silly it may look. The structure appears correct, and there’s also at least some sort of plot to follow, so I can totally dig it. I can definitely see it garnering a couple of laughs from the other writers here. :)

I would have to naturally agree with you about Chomper being a favorite character, as he’s also one of mine as well. Ducky is another candidate, but I also really love Mo the Opthalmosaurus. His personality is just so infectious, he always seems so optimistic no matter what!

But yeah, it’s always nice to hear the opinions of others here, and I agree with Owls that it’s rare to find someone who likes the entire series too.
