Kragoth looked at Chomper thoughtfully, he skimmed the tiny sharptooth with certain curiosity and interest yet keeping his angry face so not to give away this strange curiosity

"Me and my sons have come here for the thrill of the hunt." responded Kragoth in their tongue. "Let me ask you, where are your parents? And why are you speaking the language of the leaf eaters?"

Just as he asked this question Littlefoot and the Gang had caught up with Chomper and nearly stumbled into the clearing where Kragoth and his sons could see them. At this point Kragoth understood what was going on.

"You.. your friends with food?!? What blasphemy is THIS?!?"

Chomper shuddered in fear as he answered "Well they kinda...hatched me....they are my friends and...I..." he couldn't bring himself to finish the sentence remembering what happened with Thud in the Mysterious Beyond. 'I'm too little to stop these sharpteeth....but I have to do something!' he thought to himself...

Ducky cowered in fear on Littlefoot's back not knowing what to do but hold on tight to littlefoot. Littlefoot himself cowered in fear, looking around to see what he could do. He then looked at Petrie on his back, "Petrie, go." He said.

Petrie screamed in fear and took to the sky gaining as much height as he could. His first goal was to try to find one of the larger adults, Cera's dad or Littlefoot's Grandparents or one of the others, tell them so they could come here and then warn the rest of the adults of the sharpteeth in the valley. Though his idea was to get away first.

Mim nodded, she stepped back to give Longtail plenty of room to do what he was going to do. She looked at Cyrix, "What is going on?" She asked him.

With the speed of the fastest flyer in the valley Longtail shot off running towards the Forest of Darkness, not knowing what was going to happen, but knowing he had to be there to help! Cyrix answered Mim as he folliowed his nephew...

"Longtail always gets that look on his face, right before something dangerous happens, which means one of the other children is in trouble!" Cyrix then tried to run faster hoping to keep his nephew in his sights.

"Oh now you've done it!" hissed Blackclaw at Kragoth

"That pesky rat with wings is going to get us into some serious trouble!"

Kragoth growled at his son and just that moment Agnog decided to move in for the kill, advancing towards the gang,obviously very hungry.

"RUN!" cried Denton to the others, and without thinking he turned and charged the oncoming raptor with a strong head butt that actually toppled Agnog to the ground, Kragoth and Blackclaw looked up from their little feud just in time to see what was happening

Ducky held on as tight to Littlefoot as she could. Littlefoot moved towards one of the other sharpteeth, goingn for one of the smaller ones. He tried to use his tail like he had practiced and seen Doc do to try to use it as a weapon to hit one of the other smaller sharpteeth.

Mim nodded as she started to follow Longtail. "I hope we will be enough till we get close, since it'll be not possible to get one of the large adults and follow Longtail at the same time." Mim said while running so she could keep Longtail in sight and hoping they would be in time or the situation would be resolved before they got there.

Longtail was almost there...he could feel it, but the question was is he going to get there in time to help? He preyed so. Cyrix hoping Mim was keeping up managed to get ahead of his nephew and came into the clearing just as Denton knocked the younger sharptooth to the ground.

But before he could take any action, Longtail headbutted the bigger and obviously older sharptooth hoping to draw it's attention.

Chomper screamed "No Denton don't fight them! You'll only get hurt!"

Kragoth was caught off guard by the head butt but managed to keep his balance, his infuriated eyes turned their gaze upon Longtale

"How dare you!" He said in clear tongue and the crack of his voice sent chills over the onlookers

He then charged towards Longtail, his sharp claws and teeth open for attack

Denton stumbled dizzily and fell to his side, his attack on Agnog was more than enough to nearly put him out of his misery. Agnog had quickly got to his feet after being knocked over and was now approaching Denton

Longtail knew that attack was coming and with him being so small he made his body go prone lying flat on the floor, and leting the elder sharptooth run right over him, upon seeing Denton on the floor as well, Longtail slid like a snake across the ground and jumped up and bit Agnog in the tail as hard as he could.

Cyrix on the other hand was taking Longatails spot in taking on Kragoth one on one as he said "Now you really are in trouble, I've fought your kind before, and I know just how to bring you down." he said with a smile.

"I rank high with my kind when it comes to battles" growled Kragoth "I am very skilled in my ways in the hunt!"

this being said he swung his tail at Longtail

Agnog was yipping like a puppy dog while clutching his tail

Blackclaw was beside himself not sure what to make of this scene

Longtail was dazed but landed on his feet as he slid to a stop in front of Denton...he looked behind him, and using his tail tickled Denton hoping to get him to come around...without taking his eyes off Agnog.

Cyrix however was unfazed and charged the sharptooth knowing just where to strike...in the neck! But this was jsut a trick and he tripped the elderly sharptooth with his feet as he shouted to Mim "Look after the little ones. Hurry!"

Denton made a slight giggling noise from the tickle though it seemed as if he were asleep

"No mother, please not the feather!" he continued to giggle until he finally came to, slowly he raised his head looking around. He just then remembered what was going on, but was surprised to see Longtail there before him, facing the opposing sharptooth

Meanwhile Petrie had spotted Littlefoot's Grandfather who was peacefully feeding off some tall trees

Grandpa Longneck heard Petrie's voice calling out to him, so he turned to face the young flyer and said "What's the matter Pettie, did Spike eat the last treesweet?" chuckling at his own joke...not knowing the seriousness of the situation.

Longtail looked back only long enough to see that Denton had finally awaken, and he said "Don't worry I'll protect you until help gets here." then he smiled.

"What are you waiting for you idiots?!?" said Kragoth to his bumblin two sons "Let's get him!"

"Duhr..." said Agnog

"Yea... okay dad." mumbled Blackclaw "whatever you say.", the three of them lined themselves up facing Longtail

"I've changed my mind about food." said Kragoth "Think I'd rather have tough meat instead of the pathetic tiny one."

the three started to approach Longtail, preparing to gang attack him

Denton gasped "Longtail, no!"

Cyrix simply stood in his spot wanting to see how much practice his nephew had put into after arriving here in the valley...Longtail stood his ground as well, with his tail swaying back and forth, he tensed his body up for the attack to come, and jumped aiming right for Kragoth, once again head butting the elder sharptooth, and simutlainously used his tail to pull Agnog's feet out from under him.

"That just leaves one." said Longtail looking to Blackclaw.

Blackclaw hissed and went forward for the attack. Denton had gotten to his feet and was cowarding away behind a nearby bush to watch the events. He had then started to wonder where the others had went to.

Longtial smiled some more and slid his body to the right and began using the trees to jump, bounce and cartwheel in the air (much like yoda from Episode 2) using this personalized technique to confuse Blackclaw.

Cyrix nodded with approval of his nephew's tatics in fighting more than one enemy.

Mim arrived soon after Cyrix. She saw the situation and decided to join in the fight, having fought fast biters herself. She joined in the fight, choosing to battle the same one Littlefoot was battling. She jumped in and joined in the fight, battling the one Littlefoot was fighting.

Ducky meanwhile had been flung into a tree by Littlefoot spinning and other quick actions, the longneck having little to hold onto. She scrambled up the tree as fast as she could once she hit the tree and was able to grasp the bark before she slipped dawn to far. She was glad she had not had to start at the bottom and not far to go to reach the first branch. She started on climbing to the next higher branch.

Petrie meanwhile found Littlefoot's Grandfather and explained to him where the other kids where and what was going on.

"Find Denton a longneck. Sharptooths in valley with Denton and other friends ...." Petrie said, saying the location where the others were.

Grandpa longnecks face suddenly became grim as he replied "GO and get the other grown-ups, I'm going to help the kids!" He then took off as fast as his legs would allow hoping to get there before it was too late!

Petrie flew off to get the next grownups and tell them what was going on, attempting to find Cera's dad but any grownup who was big would do, or flyers to tell others. Off he flew as fast as he could looking.
