Do you spell it Redclaw or Red Claw?

Redclaw, and Red Claw.

I've seen both spellings in forum posts, wiki comments, the internet, the likes.

Now I see Red Claw (with two words - and that's the one the TV series credits use themselves) more than the other, and that is the term I prefer, but is there a clear consensus and one you prefer over the other? Or do you use them interchangeably and confuse even more people.

Does the spelling even bother you or is it just me?

While I have seen people use both of them, I mostly prefer Red Claw as it’s somewhat more clear to read compared to the other one, in my opinion. I believe I’ve only ever seen Redclaw used in fanfiction or few standalone posts on the forum. Other than that I haven’t run into the former that much. The spelling in the first one does bother me enough so that I don’t use it, but it is not something I will fret over too much. At the end of the day, people go with what they decide suits them the most.

I always thought it was Redclaw. I mean, no one seems to mind Littlefoot being one word instead of Little Foot.

Though I kinda joined the apparent consensus of calling him Red Claw (and if the TV credits confirm that then I guess that's what it is

)

In the end I'm not a big stickler as to which is preffered. I'll use whatever.

I always said Red Claw, and I have never seen the other spelling before.

Nah, no disrespect at all was meant to Saint Nick. "Stupid Claws" just made me think of Santa because their names were similar, and also because we'd been talking about Christmas recently. I'd never do anything to deliberately upset Santa. I still want to get presents from him this year, after all.

Haha, wow. Funny how the first half of the song still uses a lot of the same lyrics, yet the metal sound puts a distinctly more sinister spin on it.

There's enough fanfics where dinos meet humans. I bet that could be their interpretation if said humans ever tell them about santa.

Especially since in some cultures he has helper that DOES take naughty kids.

I mean....Red Claw is incompetent, especially when you compare it to all other Sharpteeth encounters the Gang has had. In my opinion, you can probably argue that he isn't the worst, but he's not even close to good. He's a walk in the park and only a nuisance at best when the Gang encounters him. The threat level is only amped up a tiny bit because of Screech and Thud, but doesn't it hinder his reptutation if he has to get help from "tiny biters"? Since they're considered "henchmen", aka people who do a master's dirty work, it kinda makes Red Claw a bit of a coward. Red Claw's appearance does look cool I have to admit, but his actions don't speak for it. And yeah, throwing fruit just to defeat him? Pretty embarrassing I'll say. I know Sharpteeth are predisposed to avoid fruit, but come on now...
