Silver Screen / Nostalgia Critic: The OTHER Animated Titanic
« on: June 14, 2011, 01:07:23 AM »
I found this movie (just from the bits and pieces)  a HUGE slap in the face to the one's who had to live thru it!
But this review was hilarious. I cant belive some of the BS they put in this film...like the "flying" whales, the large dog-face octopus and not to mention is was sharks who were plotting to take down the Titanic....

Give me the rapping dog any day...

I loved this movie as a kid!
But seeing it now, I can see how it kinda sucks. But for young kids I can see it being a good form of entertainment for a bit.

And yes, the birds did seem to take on the african american persona, but at least it was'nt racist. They were just adding in diffrent cultures.
It could be like Banjo the Woodpile cat where Afircan American persona cats has HUGE lips.

I love this movie. Me and some buds and my partner were the only ones in the theater so we were able to shout out our "awww's" and "Oh snap's!"

I love the past for Po and the seemingly hand drawn moments.
Lord Shen is my fave out of the KFP series so far! I loved his battle claws!

I reccomend this movie to EVERYONE!

My life partner got me into this game over the spring. Together we have lv 52 troll hunters. Right now, my main is a lv 28 Worgen Mage.
I got a late start on a main since I knew cata would be comming. So I just played whatever and whenever.

The realms Im on are:

Kael'Thas
Khaz Modan
Scarlet Crusade
Kilrog

I'd love to possibly meet up with any of you if you frequent any of those areas.

For The Alliance!  :angel

I loved it! I was'nt at all bored with it.

I agree, the darkness near the end was a bit too much, but not as bad as what happed in Princess and the Frog.
It's a film worth seeing, and Im glad Disney used a fave name of mine, Pascal!

I dont see why posting the pics would be an issue with the book out of print.
I'd like to see the connection between the two.

The Party Room / The funniest things you've said or heard
« on: November 03, 2010, 07:13:10 PM »
A few days before Halloween I was at a free showing of Hocus Pocus at the theater.
Kids were swarming me for I had on a kitty mascot head.

Well these two boys were talking with me and one told me this interesting fact.

"President Obama is our 5th President. Because there were 5 other Obamas before him but they all died...so that's why Obama is our 5th."

Or something like that.
I tried so hard not to laugh aloud. It was extreemly adorable yet hillarious.

((I took a small hiatus, but I think Im back now ^^))

Right, I belive they wanted Petrie's personality and lack of flying ability to really make him the true comic relife.
