“Mine mine mine!
I found them all,
So they aren’t yours.”
(This was Ducky’s fall.)
Selfishly she stole away,
Collecting lots of stones.
Though inside her heart so pure,
There was grief and many moans.
She would not share.
Oh no no no!
She wouldnët give at all.
She just wanted her friends to go.
It goes without saying,
All her friends were surprised.
Upon seeing her behavior,
“She isn’t herself,” they surmised.
What darkness crept within her soul?
It isn’t one that’s rare.
What happened to the swimmer’s mind:
Greed slowly crept into there.
She cannot be blamed.
It happens to everyone.
It plagues every soul,
That roams under the sun.
No one is perfect,
This goes to show.
The temptation of greed,
Is everyone’s foe.
