Hope you don't mind a few, maybe silly and often asked, questions, not sure if this is the right place to put this or if the general thread area would be better.

In rp's does is one limited to Feature Characters mainly?  

By minor characters does one mean the original character can only appear in a limited sorts of scenes, like certain of the character's parents in some of the movies?  

You can only encounter one of the main characters in passing or not at all?

Being one of the siblings of say Ducky or Petrie, the only ones who seem to have a number of them, being off?

Like in the movies and episodes is the rp based around the 5 main characters, or do the other characters have things they can on do in the rp threads, even if it has little to do with the main thread plot?

Any sorta tips on someone new here who may be interested in rping here?

You can use original characters as often as you wish.  In fact, the Sleep and Remember rp is completely original characters and has no movie characters involved.

Interesting.  Sorry for the perhaps silly questions.   Which ones are still open?

To bad I wasn't here earlier, I'd have liked to be in the Dr Who rp.  Though I"m a fan more of the classic series.

Any type that is overdone, flyer, ect?

I only have a few ideas for characters.

We here at the GOF don't beileve there are any such things as silly questions...just ask and someone here ( most likely one of the admins or a moderator) will answer!

Well first off no type is overdone...so to speak.

And we'd love to hear your ideas, however there is a topic for created fan characters...called Personal Character Profiles...

I've done some forum rp.  Before that I took a long break but I use to rp a lot on mushes.  Though I like the forum rp as apposed to the real time rp one has to do on mushes/mux.  More time to think over one's posts, and easier to fit one's schedule.

Only in 1 forum rp at the moment though.  Which rp are you running?

Thanks, I"ll read those pages, not sure which of the char ideas I posted in the char list would fit better.
