I was listening to Peter and the Wolf, and I noticed that certain segments of the LBT soundtrack are carbon copies of this piece. Does anyone know why this is?

I think it was even mentioned in some official review that James Horner took some inspiration from Peter and the Wolf when composing the soundtrack for LBT.

Looks like I'm the only one here who never even heard about Peter and the Wolf... Guess now I have a reason to look it up.

Yes, it's one of the first things I noticed when I started watching the Land Before Time again. Not sure why, but a source of inspiration makes sense.
