(This scenario would assume a full grown Chomper.)

(It seems that either option in the poll would make him very sorrowful and there is no easy way out of this situation one can assume. We can assume that either he will act or he won't and that nobody else will be able to step in in time to divert the situation and that the Longneck won't listen to his orders to back down.)
Chomper does seem nice and not likely to hurt Flatteth, but what do you think he'd do if put into the moral dilemma above? (It would be painful, as he's sweet, but also he has a big heart and cannot stand to see someone he cares about hurt. It seems the above scenario could plausibly happen, even in the films.)
If Chomper chooses option 1: Do you think he could live with himself, knowing he let a nice Sharptooth die just so he wouldn't hurt Flatteeth?
If Chomper chooses option 2: Assuming the Longneck was someone important to the Great Valley, and said Longneck dies (We can assume the Longneck isn't Littlefoot, Ali, or Grandpa or Grandma Longneck), do you think the Great Valley would ever forgive him for that or if he'd have to avoid the place forevermore, hunted as a murderer and an "evil" Sharptooth?
Would Chomper cry a lot if he chose 2?
If Chomper chose 2, do you think he'd resign himself to life as a regular Sharptooth, figuring he could never go back?
It was an idea for an upcoming fanfic of mine to have this situation happen in the plot. It sounds like a great scenario that can actually be believable as not all Flatteeth would accept a Sharptooth, and wouldn't give her the chance to show that she's nice.
If scenario 2 happens and the other members of the Gang of Seven see what happens, what do you think would be the reaction of them? (Also, we can assume that Chomper comes close to eating said Longneck, perhaps having his Sharptooth nature start to come out in response to the situation and getting Leaf Eater blood on his claws.)
