Character is based on a dream I had last year.

I forgot to say this but happy birthday.

I don't know if that's just me but I found Ducky the Swimmer's voice to be slightly deeper in the Land Before Time TV series and the post TV series installments (The Wisdom of Friends and Journey of the Brave) and sounds absolutely nothing like the voice Judith Barsi or Heather Hogan gave her, sounding closer to Webigail Vanderquack who is voiced by Russi Taylor.


Does Ducky's voice in the Land Before Time TV series actually sound different than how she sounded before that?


Because I found her voice to sound a little higher starting in The Stone of Cold Flyer to The Great Day of the Flyers.


Ducky clearly sounded different in The Mysterious Island to The Secret of Saurus Rock, having more of a babyish voice more like that of Heather Hogan.

66 million years ago, before there were humans, settlements, and vehicles, planet Earth was home to animals known as dinosaurs, pterosaurs, and sea creatures.

In a place called the Rocky Land was the home of five young dinosaurs: A male Apatosaurus named Louise, a male Chasmosaurus named Cassie, 2 Pteranodon siblings called Paty and Daniel, and a male Stegosaurus named Stellar.


Although dinosaurs and pterosaurs were different in real life, in this universe, they did not act so different as they talked, played, took naps, dreamed, and slept.


"Toss that rock" Louise said while playing before Cassie uses his tail to fling the rock.


"I got it" Cassie said, flinging the rock to Stellar, who uses his thagomizer to fling the rock.


However, the rock collided with Daniel, who crashed into the ground because he decided to play "Catch the Rock" while flying.


"That wasn't such a stellar job." Daniel comments. "Good one, brother." his sister Paty replies.


"Daniel, why do you always play "Catch the Rock" while flying." Louise asks.


"Because I don't know anything." Daniel replies.


"You are supposed to stay on the ground, Daniel." Cassie says.


"Don't you think you are being a little too harsh, Cassie." Stellar asks.


"Cassie's kind are tough, is that right, stellar boy." Paty says.


"Not as tough as Trike." Cassie says, "Trike is hard on almost everyone."


"Trike screams and yells at anyone who does something he doesn't like." Louise says.


"Then how come his only friend is Stellar's father." Cassie says. "I don't know that." Louise says.


"Yes, since Stellar's father is even dumber than Daniel." Cassie says.


"That was me you were talking about, Cassie." Daniel says.



Later, Cassie, being a Chasmosaurus, thought of destroying a sizable rock despite his fairly short horns.


"Cassie, are you sure you'll be able to smash that rock? Because your kind's horns are not as large as Trike's kind." Louise says.


"I think he'll do a stellar job at it." Stellar says, the Stegosaurus being aware of the jokes about his name.


Cassie backed up into a tree and then started running as fast as he can into the rock. It didn't destroy the rock but it left several cracks in the rock. "Oh, my horns." Cassie complains.


"Stellar, do you think you can destroy the rock Cassie ran into? I'd think you'd do a stellar job at it." Daniel says.


Stellar swung his thagomizer into the rock. However, since his tail spikes were tiny, it didn't do anything to the rock.


"That was not stellar at all and you'd say I would do a stellar job at it." the Stegosaurus complains.


"I don't know anything." Daniel says.


"Louise, can you smash that rock by using your tail." Paty asks.


"I can try that." Louise says as the young Apatosaurus prepares to swing his tail and strike the rock as hard as he can. However, it created only one more crack in the rock and it hurt his tail.


"This is probably not a good idea. It's getting dark out." Louise says.


"Yes as I'm getting too tired to smash that rock." Cassie says.


After that, Stellar, Cassie, Paty, Louise, and Daniel start sleeping.

I have 2 examples of scenes I find one of the funniest in the franchise;

1. Littlefoot screaming "SPIKE, LET GO!!!" while trying to get Spike to let go of the stinkweed. (Journey of the Brave)

2. Mr. Threehorn's big "NO" and the scene it is included in. (Invasion of the Tinysauruses)

3. Guido (one of my most hated characters in the franchise) saying that Mr. Threehorn is not fat. (Great Day of the Flyers)

Ducky: Do I look fat?


(The picture and quote is based on a dream I had quite a while back about Ducky showing her large tan belly (I know that's what she is supposed to look like but compared to Mama Swimmer and all the adult Saurolophus, Ducky looks really fat so therefore, I think that Ducky and her siblings are a different variation of Saurolophus.)

The fact that I thought that Michael Tavera did the music for the songs (examples: Better off Alone, How Do You Know?, Yellow Belly Bounce, and Imaginary Friends) starting at Journey to the Mists due to the fact that the music of "Very Important Creature" was extremely similar to Tavera's score until I found out today that Michele Brourman did the music for the songs judging by her work on 2 of the Curious George films which had similar sounding songs but they were generally scored by Germaine Franco rather than Michael Tavera.

The parts in bold are the parts I have nothing against and just feel like that should have happened.

-General-

1. Remove the Land Before Time II, V, IV, VII, and XIV from existence and make III the sequel and XII the final installment.

2. Also remove Chomper and his parents, Ruby, Pterano, Tria, Rinkus and Sierra, Ali, Ichy and Dil, Old One, Ozzy and Strut, Etta, and Wild Arms from existence.

3. Make the Tiny Longnecks Mussaurus rather than just a fictional genus called Tinysaurus.

4. Remove the songs Standing Tough, The Lone Dinosaur song, Bad Luck, Mad song, Family, Imaginary Friends, Boring, Big Water, Adventuring, Creepy Crawlies, One of A Kind, and Flip Flap and Fly.

6. Remove Kyle Kenneth Batter from the Great Day of The Flyers and leave the scoring job only to Michael Tavera.

7. Remove James Horner's original score from the sequels and only let Tavera make his versions of Horner's score.

8. Make Ducky as smart as Cera or Littlefoot and not about as dumb as Patrick Star. The same goes for Spike, who is far dumber.

9. Hire Tara Strong, Nika Futterman, Sandy Fox, or anyone that can sound like The Land Before Time 1 Cera, Ducky, and Mama Flyer from 1995 all the way to 2006.

10. Make every background Apatosaurus, Triceratops, and Pteranodon look like one another at the most and not add so many physically different variations.

11. Make the animation more sensical and not have the character violently shake when he/she screams or roars and removing the animation errors.

12. Do something so Cera's Mother and Papa Swimmer frequently are with the grownups and not have them as parents who neglect their children.

13. Do something so not all Ankylosaurus have eyelashes.

14. Make the female non-Sharptooth characters have eyelashes. For freak sakes, why do the females frequently look like the males?! Only a few cartoons do that.

15. Make the characters' eyebrows less pronounced. Cartoons rarely ever do that and not even Don Bluth's other films did that.

16. Make Petrie's grammar just like in the Land Before Time 1 and not have him gradually get worse at grammar.

17. Make all Sharpteeth more intimidating and look more photorealistic like Sharptooth from the Land Before Time movie cover.

18. Make all different Sharpteeth sound distinct and not have the freaking repetitive "grunt grunt hiss" sounds that start from Journey To Big Water.

19. Get rid of the elderly baggy eyes that a ton of middle aged characters have in this franchise.

20. Give the Brachiosaurus taller crests and sloped backs.

21. Get rid of the Muttaburasaurus' duck bill and give them a spike thumb as this was thought to be accurate in 1995.

22. Make Hyp's father a little shorter than Littlefoot who I think should be as tall as his grandparents' legs rather than only be about the size of their heads and make them look more like a real Hypsilophodon than a freak theropod/ornithopod hybrid.

23. Give the Iguanodon 5 fingers.

24. Make the Ankylosaurus look like the one in the Land Before Time 2 except make it look like a Don Bluth creation.


-The Time of the Great Giving-

1. Do something so Hyp does not brag about being tall and have him brag about being older as Hypsilophodon in real life were small.

2. Make Hyp's father a little shorter than Littlefoot who I think should be as tall as his grandparents' legs rather than only be about the size of their heads.

3. Make the Chasmosaurus a Triceratops and make those quilled theropods Velociraptor.

4. Give the Quetzalcoatlus long necks and straighter beaks rather than have their upper jaw bend downward and their lower jaw bend upward so their mouth never closes properly.
