Chapter 3: Understanding Sand Creepers (1/3)
As the day and the night, the sun and the moon, the weather and the vegetation on the different landscapes has its phases so does our fellow tiny creepers, however measuring and understanding them might not be as simple and straightforward as these natural forces. Whether they are friendly or harsh, kind or mean, annoyed or interested, they are individuals with different limits, comprehension, emotional level, intellectual levels, and with it all, a unique conscience. Despite their characters they somehow managed to withhold a prosperous and thriving community, maybe barely... each one does have their flaws and live their lives side by side with it. It is understandably gloomy but on the bright side at the least, is the golden opportunity for Turok to grow further by understanding their strivings, which will maybe grow his overall character.
“Aaaah” Turok yawns, “Morning already, seems like doing absolutely nothing yesterday did exhaust me ironically” Turok sighed.
Loud noises were heard outside which apparently sounds like hammering or some sort of a pounding sound.
“I wonder what it is, making such noises early, that’s certainly not the most pleasant wakeup call” Turok added.
As Turok was heading out, he grabbed some tools with him precisely digging equipment (just rocks and sticks), he was planning on creating a small personal garden not so far off from his house, since having a garden near the lagoon shore wouldn’t be the brightest thing to do. Turok headed out and finally spotted who so ever was causing all the ruckus, and with no surprise it was none other than Scuttles but with a few friends of his.
“ Aaaah, yer finally awake, keep your eyes wide and open as the vast sea because namely today we are building a free-to-use-storage, where findings that aren’t needed can be put inside so that another might find it valuable and beneficial.”
With an uplifting face, Turok replied “That sounds incredible, why did we never think about it sooner!”
“Because our Sand Creepers’ brains are rottener than a fish stuck for years on land, hee hee heee…… slow, helpless and stinky.” Scuttle replied jokingly.
“I guess your brain has gone beyond that comparison, hoo hoo” Turok replied.
“But hey.. I am planning on making a garden outside my residence, might I look at the items available, if there is anything given?” Turok asked respectfully.
“Feel free to take a look, some stuff has been put in, you might find something useful for making that dream garden of yours.” Said Scuttle.
As Turok went through the stuff, it was all sort of things there….fish tooth…. Shells filled with sand… nutritious green food….. and mushrooms?!? As he took his time, he found some quality sticks, pearls, shells, plants and stones.
“Exactly what I need to decorate my place!” Turok said excitingly and loudly to himself.
But Lo and behold, the sneakiest Sand Creeper has arrived who is known for his witting mind and deceiving barging.
“Whose shell are you going to rob today, Rob” Turok cautiously and directly asked.
“Oh my, oh my, what accusation! Generosity and well-earned wealth are what my hands has always revealed” Rob said.
“Proofs has a tendency to hit hard unexpectedly for the guilty, and the consequences will only burden them” Turok commented.
“Hmmm… it might be so… but that only implies if you are guilty in the first place which I certainly and reassuringly need not to bat an eye on.” Rob replied.
There was a silent tension between these two, but Turok’s priority was his intent of finding materials for his upcoming garden. Rob parted, and with an felt aura of having been offended (by looking at his expression and his movement). On the bright side Turok did find what he needed.
“I guess that’s it! Some pearls, multicolored seaweed, shells, lots of sticks and rocks” Turok contentedly said.
