Title: Computer Trouble
Post by: MC CJ'S REVENGE on November 06, 2011, 08:46:02 PM
Okay whenever I put a blank DVD or CD into the Driver and try burning one it detects no DVD or CD in the Driver.

All other CDs like the NERO CD for example work, but a blank CD or DVD is not read for some reason.

My system is from Dell. Intel Pentium 4 CPU 1.80GHz 1.79GHz, 768MB of RAM

I also use a DVD/CD-RW Drive.

Its an old post that seems to have been ignored, but I'll bite.

Have you tried all sorts of "burning" programs to see that its not just one particular software that is having this issue?  What happens if you put in like an audio cd?  Does the drive spin up and load a program to play the music?  Does it work then?

You seem to have a very old computer...your RAM is Under 1 gig.

Anyway, it may be the outdated computer or the software used for burning.
