I spent the whole day watching season 3 of the show. It was sad that rose died. I wish they would grow brains and make all the books into seasons of that awesome show.

Brian Jacques, who wrote the Redwall series, died this year. I was really devestated.

Though I'm devastated about his death, I think it's actually a good thing the series is over. It was becoming too genetic. Almost every book introduced a whole cast of new characters, so unless you were willing to embrace that it was simply a bunch of books set in the same world, it was hard to read more then 2 or so at a time without becoming bored of it all.

Sort of like John Grisham's novels. They're all genetic cause they're all law novels, but each feature a whole different cast of characters and a whole new scenario.
