This is just a little idea I thought of while kind of RPing with Pterano a couple months back.
Story
The story we have so far is that Charles Grosvenor has brought various LBT villains to life in an effort to take down the GoF, destroying the last LBT thing that's still alive. I had an idea earlier about a virus ravaging us, but I'm not sure about that one anymore. We're still trying to figure out the story some more before we start, so I'd love to hear any suggestions you have. :)
People in this RP will play as GoF members, only you won't be playing as yourself. You'll be RPing as some other GoF members! You could also play as LBT characters, or even LBT OC's. The only rule is you can't play as your own OC. You have to play someone else's. If you're playing as other GoF members, please don't abuse this to make them look bad or taint them. You can parody them, but just do it in good taste.
Er, would anyone be interested in this?

I can't really check for it, but I'd recommend asking whoever you wanna play as they're fine with it. Maybe you could scrape by without asking, but if someone tells me they don't wanna be parodied like this, I'm gonna have to take they're character out of the RP (By killing them off in the most grotesque and painful way possible :p)

Yeah, kinda worndering if we'd better ask whoever we're going to play as if we can RP as them. I know it'd be good to ask for their OC's, but I mean them themselves. What do ya'll think?

Yeah, I was thinkin about getting Pterano to join the rp, and if he's up to it, we could switch characters. I could play some of his characters and he could play some of mine. :lol But if he's not up to it, it's fine.

I'm extremely reluctant to even try that, mostly because I don't want to accidently butcher someone's personality.

Well, that's why you pick someone you know pretty well, silly :p I just thought that would be funny, trying to roleplay as one of your friends. It'll be kinda like that (Things GoF members would never say) topic, except it's a full-blown rp. Anyone still interested in that?
Yeah, and someone can play as me if they want, and also my Past-O-Rama oc, the Professor. :)

Alright, updated the roster with everyone who's posted. I have (?) by people who don't sound so sure yet. Please figure out what you want, and give me a definite answer. :) I'm fine with people playing mutliple characters. It doesn't really bother me, as long as you're able to keep up with that many characters.
About the story, I'm still thinking about it. Belmont suggested to me that it be some kind of huge government conspiracy to take us out or something (:lol). I'm thinking we could have some people RP as LBT villains to add to the story. Anyone got any ideas? We're probably not gonna get this started for a few days at least, no until we get some of these kinks worked out.

Funnily enough, it IS worth asking here, because she could play as either the LBT character Pterano, or the GoF member Pterano, or both if she wanted to. (Though that might be a little awkward to keep track of :lol)
And thinking more about the story, I might kinda borrow an idea from BigFriendlyGun, if he doesn't mind. I'm starting to theink that the story could be that Charles Grosvenor brings the LBT villains to life, because after destroying the Land Before Time franchise, he wants to take down the last LBT thing that's still very much alive... us. How's that sound for a story?

If that is the case and she does both the member Pterano and the LBT character Pterano, perhaps the first could be called Human-Pterano and the second LBT-Pterano. Kind of tedious, but it would help differentiate the two.

And I mean Petrie the CHARACTER not the GoF member! :lol It'll be quite interesting now that someone else is playing Devon. XD

I don't think we're going through with the virus subplot, or at least, not at the beginning of the RP. We could talk about doing it later, perhaps.
And Malte told me to make sure I tell you this. "members should make sure of course that it is not abused to taint anyone." I don't THINK we're going to run into that problem here, but I just want to make sure. This is supposed to be a fun RP, so you can parody other members, but just do it in good taste, aight? :)
Also, Pangaea has told me he doesn't want to be parodied, so nobody can RP as him.

If anyone wants to RP as me, here's a character template(seeing as I never really reveal my personality that often).
Name:John
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Personality : Friendly, secretive, charasmatic, intelligent, sometimes sarcastic and humorous but most of the time is dead-serious.
Other:
- Mostly speaks in middle english.
- Knows multiple languages( mostly consisting of Latin, Greek, French and german).
-Doesn't smile that much(or grin anyway).
-Tends to talk to himself or hum a tune when no one is around.
-Isn't fond of politics or of fools
-Quotes famous authors and poets.

Okay, I'm probably going to start this RP off next weekend. This is the first time I've ever run an RP, so bare with me here. :p
Also, tonight I'm starting back up again on remodeling Wal-Marts (Same thing I did last year for several months straight) I'm going to be working 40 hours a week (Hopefully for many months straight, as I need the money), and also going to college 4 days a week, so I'm going to be really busy.
I also don't have a computer of my own at the moment, since mine melted a couple weeks ago. This just further complicates things. Just letting ya'll know ahead of time, if your wondering where I am. I probably won't be able to manage this RP every day, but I'll do my best. :)
Anyway, make any decisions you need to about who you're going to play as, ect. If you have any ideas for subplots that you'd like to do with your characters, I'd love to hear them.

Either way, you can't play as yourself. Yeah, you could get one of your forum buddies to play that for you.

I've been looking at this RP idea off and on. Part of me is interested, part of me is not. I'm not really fond of the "you can't RP as yourself or as your fancharacters" rule. I don't feel comfortable roleplaying as someone else; I find the concept of roleplaying as another person rather than a character to be strange.
So I don't think I'll be joining this roleplay. Sorry.

Since we're still a little short on villians, woud it be okay if I play Ms. Maia? Sure, she's not what some may consider to be a villian, but she seems evil enough that she would rather aid the enemy than her neighbors. She could be on the villians' team :idea.

I don't think Hyp and co. are bad enough to be considered villians. Then again, there weren't any villians in III(unless you count the raptors), just people at fault.

Well, I was originally gonna have them come out of the portal after the villains, but now I'm not so sure. I'm just wondering if they come out of that portal, how do they join up with the GoF members? I mean, that's the bad guy's portal.
Maybe the other LBT characters come out very soon, and the villains chase them to the GoF members? Can't think of another way to do it at the moment.

Here's an idea I have. I have yet to bring Rytho through the portal, and I thought about having him do something to distract the villians while the good guys get to the GOF. I promise no blood will be drawn from the villians. Maybe he'll pop one on the head or throw something or something of a slapstick yet distracting nature :p. Anyone willing to let a villian suffer momentarily so the others get distracted?

Well, the Rp's been at a standstill for a few days, and no one's objected to this, so I'll just make a post, placing the Gang and the other LBT chars close to the GoF community.
Also, starting tomorrow, I'll be working at a project thats 7 days a week, so I'll have next tio no freetime. I have no idea right now how long that project will be for, but I should know tomorrow when I start. Just saying I might barely be here at all for awhile.

It turns out my new temp job is just 5 days a week, not 7. Today's my first day off, so I've got time to post again, yay!
Chronicler has changed his mind about being RP'ed as in this roleplay, so I'm going to be RPing as him too.
