Did Petrie cry in movie 1? Or did it just look like he did in the scene where they find the food, and 7, respectably, is the first film where he cries? (He cried 4times in it!! :wow
Oh, and I also want to ask, was Littlefoot crying on the ledge during the scene where he talks to his mom's cloud, or did he just sound sad and tired?
-
They both sound not just sad, they sound like they're crying. But Petrie turns his head away from the viewer, and Littlefoot is too far away in the cloud scene to tell.
I would say they're crying.
-
I hate not knowing. <_< I mean, was movie 1 the first one where Petrie cried or not? Cause if it wasn't that pushes way into 7.
Also was Littlefoot crying in 6 after the argument with Topps when he brushes against his grandmas cheek?
-
If questions about visible movie scenes haunt you so much, what about questions on broader aspects of life?
What would you make of the great philosopher Socrates' recognition:
"All I know is that I know nothing."?
-
I don't know nothing, but I would like to know this.
-
Malte wasn't saying that you knew nothing. He was just asking what your opinion was on Socrates' statement.
-
It's interesting, espicially since it's a contraditory statement.
But anyways, I still would like to know your thoughts on this.
-
It's hard to believe he made from 2-6 without crying once, considering how sensitive he's portrayed. 7 served as a long overdue breakdown for Petrie; perhaps he didn't even make it through the first half of movie 1 dry eyed, or perhaps he finally broke down in 7.
Who knows?
-
What does anyone else think?
-
Did he cry in 1? Or was it not til 7?! :confused
-
At the moment, I don't know.
Why is knowing if he cried in LBT1 or not so important?
-
Because if he didn't in 1 then he didn't until 7.
Big difference.
-
But Petrie turns his head away from the viewer,
Why? Is it because he was crying?
-
^Quite possible, yes.
-
But equally possibly not...we'll never know... <_<
-
Therefore, it is not that big a deal.
-
For me it is, though, cause it puts Petrie's first "breakdown" far earlier on.
