Hey guys, i wasn't sure if it was alright to post a screenshot of an ebay item, but I was trawling through eBay and saw some LBT character sheets, specifically ducky and petrie character sheets, not sure if they are legit but for the price and look, they look it. Here’s the webpage:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Set-of-10-Model-Ce...204533149898904 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Set-of-10-Model-Cels-from-The-Land-Before-Time-Don-Bluth-Studios-RARE-1-of-10?item=370608787182&cmd=ViewItem&_trksid=p5197.m7&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D5%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D8140204533149898904)
And on a smaller note, there's also a pic of littlefoot's walking cycle from an online magazine called Animator mag, I’ve been trying to find the original magazine where littlefoots walking cycle sheet is, but to know avail. Here’s the webpage:

and theirs also some useful production sketches from a website blog called:

These are nice finds.

The owner of these items are definitely trying to rip you off, so don't go over and buy them (be mad for that price, anyway!) Next to that they can't spell Petrie ;p
(It's totally alright to post links to ebay, no worries)

Actually Mumbling, while the price tag may very well be outrageous, the pictures at hand show quite a few signs of of them being authentic. If they are photoshopped in any way, then they would have to be of a very high level. Most scammers don't go to the amount of work that would be involved for them.
So, what's the proof you ask?
First off, there's an official notice of copyright on a number of them. A number of animators back then put copyright notices on their works as a means to protect them. It even has the correct name of what studio made the first one and not the name of the later ones, which most scammers would make a mistake of.
Second sign, is the reflection of light the plastic protector would give off when a picture is taken. The person who took the picture was an average photographer at best. Even then, making something like that would be almost impossible in Photoshop.
The final sign? Basically a number of them show clumsy preserving and handling of them. Simply signs of fingerprints or small amounts of dust on the cels themselves.
I wouldn't say they are worth $4,000 each, but they are definitely authentic.
EDIT: On top of that, the feedback of the seller shows a great amount of honesty. At best, the person is still in their first year, but shows signs that they can be trusted to send the item at hand.

I agree with you, but still the price is not nearly worth it. And I doubt there are just 10 in existance, seeing the ID-number on one of the cells.

It seems like there are LBT fans out there with a significantly higher income than is usual among GOF members :confused
