Title: Petrie's mom's name

Petrie's mom never had an "actual" name throughout the series.

What do you think would make a good name for Petrie's mom if you had to pick.   I'm so curious.   Any good names for Petrie's mom? I think she should've had one. :)

Dona? Celia? Cesia? The first is a play on her species' scientific name, the other two on Latin words for "sky" and "blue".

When I first watched LBT 9 I misheard very badly at one point. Littlefoot's grandpa (while turned towards Petrie's Mum) said something beginning with "Till then...". Somehow it sounded like "Pterana" to me and given her brother's name I actually believed that Pterana had become the official name for Petrie's mother :lol

I think Dona or Pterana would be fine.Names in LBT usually linked with species,why she would be an exception?

Since her son and brother's names start with P I assume hers may also.  Though we have no idea what Petrie's siblings names are or if theirs start with P also.

The thought of her being named Pterana makes me chuckle, as Ptyra's original name was Ptyranna, and boy was she a Mary Sue extraordinaire!
