Ever since The Amazing Spiderman came out, there seems to be an argument on which was better, that one or Raimi's Spiderman movies. It all depends on taste in how everything was executed. Some people love The Amazing Spiderman and hate Raimi's Spiderman movies, and some vice versa.
But none of Raimi's movies and not The Amazing Spiderman were nearly as bad as one Spiderman movie that was almost made. Not even Raimi's third Spiderman movie was this horrible. (no offense to any fans of either of those movies; this post is not meant to imply any of them are bad)
James Cameron's Spiderman movie would have been the worst Spiderman movie ever.
From what I understand, James Cameron was told to write a script or he won't get paid, so he basically wrote out a terrible Spiderman movie script.
Here's the video that talks about it: http://www.cracked.com/video_18435_the-awf...a_ibsrc=fanpage (http://www.cracked.com/video_18435_the-awful-spider-man-movie-james-cameron-almost-made.html?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=fanpage&utm_campaign=new+article&wa_ibsrc=fanpage)
And the script: http://www.dailyscript.com/scripts/spider_..._4_93draft.html (http://www.dailyscript.com/scripts/spider_man_cohen_newson_cameron_8_4_93draft.html)
I'm not making this topic to bash James Cameron, btw. I don't hate him, and I acknowledge he can make some good scripts.

Actually, that's about standard fare writing for James Cameron.

Wierd Raptor, I know you dislike the guy but you don't have to bash him every five seconds. :slap

Only when he's bought up.
