Title: Trouble with Premier elements
Post by: Ptyra on July 13, 2012, 01:34:08 PM
So I was trying to use premier elements on my laptop, the only computer it's ever worked on, which is probably why I never used it in the past.

However, today, it gave me this:

Now, here are my problems:
1. It's already been deactivated on all my other machines
2. I've downloaded photoshop as many times as this, yet it's never given me the warning.
3. I don't think I can afford one of the updates

So, what do you computer techs have to say?

You've reached the limit when it comes to the maximum number of installs.  There's nothing you can do but call up Adobe and plead your case.  If all else fails you can either buy another copy or pirate a copy.  If I were you I wouldn't mess with it and I'd just pirate it.  You already purchased it so there's no harm done.  That's what I do with all the software I buy.  The anti-piracy BS gets in the way of legitimate use.  And they wonder why piracy is so ramped.

So where would the best place to be to pop on my crossbones hat, parrot and hook?

Demonoid.me is a great place to find stuff.  It requires an invitation to join.  If you need one, PM me.  And to the other people dropping by this thread, no I'm not going to give out invitations all willy-nilly like.  I'm doing this to help a person that legitimately purchased software be able to use the thing that belongs to them.  I run into this kind of bullshit all the time after buying software myself and I understand how infuriating it can be.  ESPECIALLY Adobe products.  Not only are they expensive out the ass, they also treat you like a criminal with everything you do.  Such BS. :anger

I guess I could do that.
