I would like to know how you came up with your usernames.
-
My nose in real life is bent to right sometimes. If I have an cold my nose goes to the right a lot and looks really ugly as so do I. A lot of people make fun of it on YouTube sometimes. So I thought I have it as my username here. :DD
-
DarkHououmon is the name of a female digimon antagonist from an ancient, unfinished, and awful Mary-Sue Digimon fanfic I wrote many years ago. I liked Hououmon, and I liked the viral versions of Digimon, so I just made one out of Hououmon, thus DarkHououmon. This was before I knew of the english name, Phoenixmon.
Nowadays, I no longer use the character of DarkHououmon, and instead use the name strictly as a username.
-
I've used VonBoy everywhere I've been on the internet for about the last 10 years. I really just got it from my real first name, Vaughn.
-
I guess mine's obvious, but yea, I just always liked Littlefoot. I guess it was all I could think of at the time. Gee it really was such a long time ago :p
-
Malte is my actual real first name while 279 stands for the 27th of september (over here the day is given before the month), my birthday.
-
I've been a huge Bionicle fan for a very long time, so I wanted a username that reflected that, but not sound so unfamiliar to everyone. One of my favorite Bionicle characters, Takua (who you see as my avatar image), was entitled "Chronicler" in the storyline for a while, so I decided to use that as my username. (I figured it was fitting, since I also had plans at the time of writing my first fanfiction, Quest for the Energy Stones.)
-
It was inspired by the movie, Happy Feet. Among my favorite characters were the skuas, and I loved how their New Jersey accent had them saying 'Flipper Boid' instead of Flipper Bird. It's been my universal username ever since. :DD
-
Serris is the name of one of the bosses in Metroid Fusion, the first Metroid game I played.
-
nick is my real name and i was 22 whewn i joined in 2004. obviously i'm no longer 22- i'm 29. but i've keot as i dont believe in changing names
-
Fyn: my first and favorite OC.
16: My college graduation year, as well as my favorite number.
-
My name is based off of my love for Pokemon. I still consider myself a fan, despite the fact it's been over a year since I watched the show or played any of the games.
As for the numbers, add them up and you'll get the age I was when I came up with the name.
To be honest, I use this username everywhere I can. Some try to steal it and cause problems for me, but I have found that most admins of places I join are too smart to fall for that. ;)
-
I don't use LettuceBacon&Tomato anywhere else on the internet. It's my favorite sandwich with the words rearranged so that the initials are LBT, like the Land Before Time.
-

My name is also inspired from Happy Feet, Mumble. But I already used Mumbling on most sites as my default Username.
-
Mine is a hypothetical surname based on a real surname which is based on a real name, its only purpose being to be easily pronouncable ("j" pronounced like "y" in "yes", vowels pronounced like in the Spanish language)
-
Mine's probably easy to figure out :lol. I'm very spiritual and into astrology. Cancer is my astrological sun sign, and I was born under Year of the Tiger under the Chinese zodiac (1986). My moon sign is Scorpio and my rising sun sign is Gemini, but that would've made for one long, funny sounding username :lol.
-
I think Blais is my real name translated to englis, but i'm not sure.Anyway it sounds good to me,so I don't realy care.
-
Pretty sure we had a topic like this somewhere else in the forum. Hey ho.
The first part is pretty self-explanatory. Littlefoot is my favourite animated character (amongst a list of others) so for relativity to the site's focus, I picked him. The number is another personal touch. It's actually supposed to be read as "sixteen-sixteen" as opposed to one thousand six hundred and sixteen. Simply put, 16 is my lucky number and is also the day I was born on. So figured, having it twice would be fitting ;) :DD
-
LBT stands for Land Before Time (obviously) and Diclonius is a creature in an anime call Elfen Lied, another thing I am a fan of. :)

I've actually been pronouncing your username right. I just thought saying "sixteen-sixteen" was easier than "one six one six".
-
My username evolved from a desire to avoid people having to type out my penname on fanfiction.net in forum posts. My name at the time was Dragonsoul90, so being a dragon nut, I simply added Drake to the front of the name and dropped the number from the end. I've been Drake ever since despite trying to change my online handle a few times it's just stuck with me. This just happens to be the only site where I didn't need to include a last name to register under it. :p
-

Wow! Glad that came across so readily then! :DD I do often wonder why I see (particularly Gamer Tags) have a huge string of numbers after their name. And then how they intend for that number to be read back. :p
Thanks for that DH! ;)
-
You're welcome.
Yeah I'm not sure why people put in so many numbers in their usernames. :p
-
In some cases it may be because their intended name short of any numbers was already taken ;)
-
^That's why Drake has always had a last name attached to it otherwise. I refuse to use numbers in my username, I like being the original article.
-
Simple. I MADE IT UP JUST FOR FUN!
Sorry about that outburst there. We have our humorous moments.
-
Strut the Egg Stealer is my first favorite LBT character of all time. And I wanted my username to illustrate just HOW MUCH I wuvs the LBT universe, I chose my first favorite LBT charry.
Pterano's another favorite, but he comes along later in my list of faves.
Hey, Stone of Cold Fire came out in the 2000's. Sorry, Pterano, you should have come out earlier :(
-
Actually, my username that I most use is "Robbing" which started from a game I played. Apparently, I deemed that inappropriate for a forum like this so I switched to my YouTube username, LBTLover1.
-
I was trying to think up a variation on my actual name, but I decided on a descriptive term instead.
So I went with FreckledOne, since I seem to be one of the only ones in my family with noticable freckles, and since I like CamelCase :p
-
Little Das is my favorite character from Dinosaur Planet, heck he may be my favorite dinosaur character period, so I decided to pick this username just to express that love. :CeraHAPPY The 75 is also supposed to be a reference to the fact the episode he is in takes place 75 million years ago.
-
Sneak is name of my LBT dinosaur OC from fanfiction I wanted to write once.
Ozband Iresh, nickname I use around the whole internet, is name of lizard character I met in my dream about trilogy of huge puzzle games. This character's appearance was recolored version of Thud from LBT TV series, and is my main inpiration animal for making my own games.
-
My username was a nickname a lot of my friends had for me back when I used to roleplay online pretty regularly, and it’s just a shortened version of my real name. So not much of a backstory there. :PCera
-
I kinda stole mine :ChomperAmused
-
Copying and pasting this from a different thread I posted in a while back 'cause I'm lazy. :P
I used to go by the handle "Sunrise Warrior", which dates back to about 2014. But I wasn't really happy with that name and I wanted to change it to something else. Yet I still wanted something along those lines, which led to me coming up with Stardust Soldier in its place, which has been my default username on websites as of around 2017 and onward.
The name "Sunrise Warrior" is derived from the name of a novel I was writing called "Sunrise Peak". Conversely, "Stardust Soldier" isn't a reference to anything specific, aside from just being an offshoot of my older handle. I guess I wanted something that sounded sort of mystical and magical.
I kinda stole mine :ChomperAmused
@Vojeds: Oh? Care to elaborate? :-P
-
I also kinda stole mine as it was the only one I could think of at the time since none of the ones I did try were eligible. I basically took the name Anagnos from Halo, who is a fictional character.

its pretty straight forward, i saw my friends game name and i basically made own version of it, the original name was Lojed, imo mine is cooler :ChomperImAwesome
-
Mine is pretty self-explanatory
Ducky is my favourite character and 123 is just uhh... a random number really :smile
-
I chose mine mostly for the fact that I am a little bro. :P It was also kind of chosen because of Spike. He is a little brother, too. I wanted to go with something more LBT, but I couldn't exactly think of anything. :lol But, little bro is not a username I regretted.
-
^It suits you. :)
-
^Thanks.
I thought about Chomper'sChum as my username, but Protege said that it might get shortened to "Chum" by some members. :P I prefer being called "Bro" over "Chum."
-
At least "Chum" would be better than "Chump." :P
-
@Little Bro Are you really siblings with @RainbowFaceProtege ? :olittlefoot
-
At least "Chum" would be better than "Chump." :P
Agreed, Chump. :lol
@Little Bro Are you really siblings with @RainbowFaceProtege ? :olittlefoot
Yes, we are siblings.
-
:rainbowwave
-
We're all quirky little things in our own way. Just like the Rainbow Faces. :)
-
Well the Rainbow Faces would be one of the best to be students under in LBT due to how much knowledge they have (if they even bother teaching you it). Mr. Thicknose would have nothing on them. :rainbowThinking
Can't remember if I've mentioned already, but I chose Flathead because I noticed there was already a lot of Littlefoot usernames so I figured I'd be a bit more unique. I've enjoyed the jokes that have arisen as well due to being named after a derogatory term. :p
The number comes from way back in the day when I loved watching Goldeneye as a kid. I wondered why James Bond was codename double-oh-seven and not something like double-seven-oh. 770 stuck in my mind after that.
-
At least "Chum" would be better than "Chump." :P
Agreed, Chump. :lol
Or else you could be Little Rainbro. :Mo
-
do I really need to explain? It's after the aircraft. and the ace part well that's more to do with being an Ace Combat fan. #Belkadidnothingwrong
-

Hey, I like it. :rainbowwave
What about "Protege's Protege?" :PCera
-
:rainbowwave
-
Must be weird to read about what each other is writing on the forum haha. Really rare too for siblings to share a passion, you're really lucky guys :)littlefoot
-
I remember having 3 different usernames on different websites and there is the reason why I chose them:
MrClubtail1234: This name was chosen because I wanted a unique username and I have a fairly similar personality to the character Mr. Clubtail.
Ihateloofah123: This name was chosen because I hate Loofah. :PCera :SharptoothAmused
BadPiggiesLover: This name was chosen because the game Bad Piggies was one of my longtime favorite games even though a lot you may not know about this game.
-
Amaranthine is something that means unfading, eternal. It's also a purple-red color which are my two favorite colors aside from mint green, dark brown and salmon. I was looking for a new username to make me identifiable among a sea of usernames and I think it fits.
-
'caspyartist' is actually my third username I've used on the web. my first one was 'AusRox', which was short lived from 2013-2015, second is actually the longest one I've had which is 'Aussiecuno', which I used from 2015-2020. then there's my current one! there was no big reason why I changed to caspyartist, think I just wanted a switch up to something new :petrieLOL
anyway, onto the topic, my name was mostly inspired by Casper the friendly Ghost and the fact that I'm an artist. that's it, that's my name lol. I didn't really have any big inspiration for it at the time I guess.
-
Before "StardustSoldier" and "SunriseWarrior", I went by the username "DavySprocket". He's this robot you face off against in the video game Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, which I used to play a lot as a kid. :P

Because my favorite character from Dink, the little dinosaur, Scat, was a Compsognathus, I was thinking of a username something related to Petrie, or Guido at first, but I finally chose this.
-
My name derived from trying to think of another name for Chomper. I surmised that most of the chomper usernames were already taken, so I thought of what is Chomper if I described him, gentle and a sharptooth, “there ya go.” :)
It works also well for that sharpteeth are my favorite and I am of a gentle nature.
-
My username was inspired by my favorite character in the franchise being Chomper. Knowing that his first debut was in TLBT II, released in 1994, I used the last two numbers of 1994, combined it with Chomper, and my username was born!

I think our favorite sharptooth is only tied for most liked character with Littlefoot and Ducky. :)
-
It was suppose to be named after a gun but i
Added f into it. Idk about the gt maybe just by choice idk.
-
Rustam is just my real name. :littlefoot:)
-
Geez IDK what inspired my username, I guess it was just something ez that I would always remember.

I gues your username reminds you that your name is not Nathan. :D
-
It's a pun on "Hotel California". It just popped into my head when I was making my account, I guess :smile
-
Well, I am some random fangirl... 13 year old me wasn't the most creative haha
-
Apparently it was what my parents nicknamed me when I was still in the womb, as they didn't check my sex. It's a weird Romanian thing, as my parents immigrated to the US from Romania.

Cool. I watched movie based in Romanian Caves called The Cave. A great suspense thriller horror film:

What does the aabiscus part of your username mean? :)
-
What does the aabiscus part of your username mean? :)
Haha that’s the username I use on every site, I chose it when I was like 14. My goal was to appear first on any alphabetical lists, hence the double A, and I chose the word ‘abacus’ because I liked how it had the letters a, b, and c in it. (And the ‘I’ was just to make sure there weren’t too many ‘a’s in the word.) It was all very calculated in a kinda nonsensical way, but hey it kinda worked, I have very good Google SEO by this point from using it on so many sites!
-
"DiddyK" comes from Diddy Kong, my all-time favorite fictional character, and "F1" comes from Formula 1, since I'm such an obsessive motorsport fanatic. :)petrie Funnily enough, I was originally DiddyKF1Enthusiast on YouTube and a few other places for a while, but I later decided to shorten it to just "DiddyKF1" because I wanted a shorter name and it just ticked and stuck ever since! :petrieLOL

Apologies for resurrecting this thread.
As I already stated at the Welcome Center, my nickname on this site is a nod to Pink Floyd, specifically their soundtrack to Barbet Schroder's La Vallée. Because of disagreements with Schroder, they renamed the soundtrack to "Obscured by Clouds". Because a valley plays a large role in TLBT, I ended up using the soundtrack title because I thought it sounded good. Also, ImpracticalDino pointed out that the Great Valley was indeed obscured by clouds in the film, so that makes the title even more fitting.
Edit: Fixed Auto-correct. Again. :anger

Apologies for resurrecting this thread.
Luckily, unlike most forums, this forum does not have an established rule for necroposting! :D
Glad you resurrected it too, since I'm pretty sure Mo-o-o had not seen this particular thread before.
But anyway... how was my username inspired?
With impracticality, of course! :MoEvil :Mo :lol
No, really. A show from truTV Mo-o-o really enjoys is Impractical Jokers, and that is the first part of my name. Add-on "Dino" to the end of the name, because, (duh!) this forum is dinosaur related!
And ta-da-a-a-a!!! There's my username. :SharptoothAmused
