 Due to my limited time, I am unsure if I'll be able to participate. But still, would this rpg be set on a specific ship? or a task-force of some kind?.

So will folks each have their own ship or will they be a crew on a ship like in most star trek series, apart from DS9 where they are crew on a space station.

Separate ships, separate crews, but a united front.  So, sort of like a small fleet.

 That can be interesting, but let's hope that will not complicate things for people having to create a crew of both most-used characters and lesser-characters.

 But I am very happy to finally see a Star Trek RPG idea here.

It can be ships crewed by anywhere from just a Captain and one Officer, to a larger ship crewed by A Captain and up to Five Bridge officers.  Other than that, there can be any number of other officers who man other duties.
