Title: Does Chomper have any Sharptooth friends?

We don't see them, of course, as they might not be nice to the Gang of Five and Ruby, but do you think he does?  Or do you think that his "Flatteeth are friends, not food" attitude has scared them all away?

Nope, since Chomper flat-out stated that he and his parents were "the only sharpteeth on the island" in the fifth movie.

And Chomper was WRONG about that too!

(There was the Sharp Beak and her kids (and likely a mate somewhere) and also the Plated Sharptooth too.)

Also, I imagine some time went by between Mysterious Island and the TV Series.  He picked up Ruby somewhere.  Is it so impossible that he doesn't have other friends out there?

I imagine he does not. The Lonely Sharptooth episode seems to be painted in this direction. The scene where Chomper attempts to befriend another sharptooth child in particular is what is most revealing. Chomper has a complete lack of social skills regarding communicating with the child. He's speaking full on leaf-eater with him and is trying to get him to play a game he's obviously not familiar with. If Chomper did have sharpteeth friends, he would have been better able to interact with the child that wouldn't have resulted in him getting chased by the sharptooth child's parents.

You could say that Chomper befriended leaf-eater speaking sharpteeth, but what are the odds of that? From what I recall, a leaf-eater raising a sharptooth is not heard of often, and while it might happen in another part of the world, the odds of Chomper finding this one in a million sharptooth kid is very low.

I agree on that.   The only Sharpteeth I know of, besides him, that can speak Leaf Eater are Dil and Ichy.  

I honestly think there is huge potential if Chomper were ever to meet them.  They might tell Chomper about their pasts and how they ended up with each other instead of Sharptooth packs of their own kind.
