Famous British actor Alan Rickman has died of cancer at 69.

one of the iconic ' bad guy voices' of his era, up there with Jeremy Irons and Tim Curry. this is the second legendary figure to die of cancer at 69 in a week, Bowie being the other, and both kept their final illness private. more than the harry potter films, or die hard, he covered a wide range of films, and like many iconic actors, got his start in Shakespeare.
