When The LEGO Movie came out back in 2014, Batman was apparently such a popular character that he will be getting his own spin-off movie, The LEGO Batman Movie, which will be coming out on February 10, 2017, just three months from now.
This movie pretty much focuses on the same Batman we saw in The LEGO Movie, with the addition of certain characters you might expect to also be around, such as Robin and Joker, but don't expect these Lego people to be identical to what you may already be familiar with. (After all, Batman from The LEGO Movie tends to have a rather selfish attitude.)
Here are three trailers to give you an idea of what to expect in this movie:

They're making two sequels to the Lego movie hopefully they're going to be good like the first one was.

A fourth trailer came out just yesterday. Check it out right here:

Awesome I might see the movie not sure yet

I find it very amusing that both the recent light-hearted and funny Batman films are probably going to the best ones Warner Bros will have produced lately. Their attempt at recapturing the gritty Nolan Batman failed them pretty badly, so I'm hoping they get the message that "relentlessly bleak" is not what we want in superhero films.

Yeah there killing joke movie fans did not like at all. But let's see how this one turns out also. Maybe it will be good or maybe it will be bad not sure yet since it's not out yet.

Another new trailer just came out recently, this one showing what the Joker will be up to in this movie.

Don't know if I'll go see this one in theaters, but it actually looks pretty funny. I've always liked the more humorous side of Batman, and this kind of reminds me of Team Starkid's "Holy Musical Batman!"
-
I'd doubt it will be good like that first one was. The first one shocked the world of how actually good The first one was. So I don't think the second one will have the same spark like the first one did but let's see tho.

Just to let everyone know, tomorrow is the day this movie comes out in theaters.
My family and I will be busy with other things this weekend, so I won't get an opportunity to see this movie until next Saturday (just as well, because I was planning to see it then, anyway).
Is anyone else here interested in seeing the LEGO Batman Movie?

If it doesn't suck than I might check it out I'll see what the critics say about the movie first than I'll see if I want to waste my hard earned money on it.

Can't wait to see it
Im batman...
-
It actually got good ratings I'll try to see it soon
-
I got to see the film yesterday! It was fantastic!
-
Awesome yeah it got a 91% on rotten tomatoes witch is good.
-
I say the movie yesterday and like it.
-
I love this movie because it's just one big middle finger to the uber grimdark approach to Batman everyone's been using for the last 20 years. It posits that both a sense of humor and proper utilization of the Batfamily could go a long ways.
-
The jokes where very good and the storyline was amazing great movie.
-
Agreed. The fact that it's a legit Batman story is all the more gratifying.
-
Yes I can agree it is really good I'm gonna watch it again it's so good

I just came back from seeing this movie this afternoon. While the Lego Movie will always be my absolute favorite movie, the Lego Batman Movie definitely comes very close to that.
I like how this movie gives its own take on how Robin became Batman's sidekick, so anyone who's not really familiar with the DC Comics franchise (like myself) could still enjoy the movie. In addition, we also got to see practically every Batman villain ever make an appearance throughout the movie, including some of the more obscure ones.
Just like with the Lego Movie, this movie has lots funny moments, including some "kid-logic" effects (such as the guards literally shouting "Pew! Pew! Pew!"whenever they fired their guns). Lego has always been well-known for their quirky humor, and I certainly loved seeing it in this movie.

And just like how the Lego Movie had that twist of being linked to the "real world", the Lego Batman Movie also has another realm linked to it known as "the Phantom Zone" where the worst villains of many other franchises are held (such as Sauron from Lord of the Rings, Lord Voldemort from Harry Potter, the Daleks from Doctor Who, the Wicked Witch from Wizard of Oz, and even Agent Smith from the Matrix). I had assumed this movie would stick exclusively to DC Comics, so I was quite pleasantly surprised to see all these other baddies show up to unleash destruction on Gotham City.
(end spoilers)
Overall, definitely a great movie that was worth seeing in the theater. I may not be interested in getting any of the Lego sets based on it like I did with the Lego Movie, but it's still a great movie that I wouldn't mind seeing many times over again.

I did to it was very well thought out and I also liked the bond between Robin and batman also.
