Eureka the name of one of the characters is part of gekko state. Gekko state is believed by the government to be bad guys when in reality Gekko state are the good guys. Here is a link to a speech in from Jergen a government Air force officer in episode 45.

Anime isn't for everyone, f-22.  The only anime I've really really liked was Wolf's Rain, and that's largely because its quite philosophical.  A lot of the stuff I've seen is not.

The only one i've really seen is Gundam Wing and that show is quite political. It was interesting that this show fit perfectly with one of my essay topics this year. Oh, sorry f-22 ace but i have yet to see the episodes, been a bit busy finishing my exams. I should have plenty of time now though now that its summer.
