Hello. I just wanted to show everyone my current screensaver and get their opinion on it. Is it a bit much or is it acceptable?

NOTE: I did not want to put a 500mb video on filefront so there are only a couple of images shown out of the 296 but you'll get the general idea.

what about that is "A bit much" or "dumb"? it seems like just fandom to me

I don't know. Even though my mom likes LBT now, she thinks it's too much. Do you agree?

Dito on that one.

There's nothing wrong with that LBTLover! :) I think it looks cool. I assume you took the time out to create that yourself! I wouldn't worry about what anyone else says. As the other before said, just you showing off your fandom! ;) And you're totally within your right to do so

It took me a long time to make cuz all of the images were the wrong sizes when I took the screenshots. Some of them were 500X125 while others were 300X360. The dumb thing would just show half of an image! I had to convert all of the images and then I found a really cool program called my pictures screensaver by google. It allows you to use cool transition effects and also time the picture change effect by the milisecond. This was much better than the built in windows vista screensaver that has a minumum time of 6 seconds. It needed to be faster in my opinion. I currently have it set at 4.2 seconds and I like it very much. The screensaver has 296 images. Do you have any idea how long it took to open each image in paint, resize it, and then convert it to jpeg so the screensaver program would recognize it? I think it took around 4 1/2 hours! It's worth it now though. I certainly made a backup of it onto a flash drive in case my computer crashes. Ya know, you can recover a lot of data from a crashed hard drive but it's ya never get it 100% back. This is really bad for images, videos, and music.

Looks fine to me...I don't see what you're worried about. I used screenshots from Watership Down one time and left it right on in my dorm and you could see it as you walk by. You're not going to get slammed. I didn't have one person get on case for being a Disneyphile in college...not one. They cracked a joke every now and then but really, kids these days are actually more tolerant than you give credit for.
You'll be fine.

ALSO, they probably all have their own, perhaps more guilty pleasure... and they know that if they poke fun at you about it, and you find it out somehow... they'd rue the day :p maybe not... XD
