Title: Ironic Funny Humor in the first LBT Movie

Has anyone ever noticed in the first LBT during that scene with Littlefoot, Ducky, and Spike, when they tried to save Petrie from the Tar Pit well, i was thinking, could it have been a reference to how Dinosaurs became extinct in fossils?  :thinking

Hmm, I never thought of that before. I wonder if that was intentional on the writers' part. I have a feeling it probably wasn't, but if so, that would be a nice piece of black comedy right there.
